The high quality of the translations, very natural and accurate, especially for professional texts, in addition to the speed and the simple interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some advanced features are limited to the paid version, and occasionally, there are missing options for specific terminology customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's virtually omnipresent in my laptop and in most app I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would love if it could provide at least two alterntive translations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best AI translation tool. period.

I like that DeepL gives very natural translations with almost no effort. It keeps the meaning and tone really well, and it’s fast. It just feels more accurate than most other translators I’ve tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that DeepL sometimes misses context in longer texts, and the free version has a few limits. It also doesn’t support as many languages as some competitors. But overall, still very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DeepL is simple and intuitive to use and it really understands the nuances of French, the language I use it for mostly. It has an excellent dictionary for those moments when I am unsure if the sense of what I am saying is right, and the alternatives offered are always helpful in refining the translation. I use it most days as I live in France and am still learning this complex language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very occasionally I am unsure that I have chosen the right word, ironically because of the wide range of alternatives offered! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is the most acurrate diccionary for multi-lingual translation I have ever used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

nothing to dislike at all. It works so well and fast and easy there is no way to dislike it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DeepL Pro delivers convincingly natural-sounding translations and understands context very well, especially with difficult texts. Word lists help to use technical terms consistently and reduce rework. Direct translation of documents with formatting speeds up work. It works quickly, the computer application is useful, and the Pro version allows unlimited use. DeepL Write helps improve writing style. Data protection is very important: texts are not used for training, transmission is secure, and it complies with data protection regulations. API and interfaces enable integration into other programs. Overall, DeepL Pro offers high quality, speed, reliability, and professional features for working with texts in different languages. The translation language setting constantly switches between American and British English translation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use DeepL several times a day, primarily through its Chrome extension. It provides instant access to the translation service, either through the extension, their web browser, or as desktop software. It can also be accessed immediately with a simple keyboard shortcut. I mainly use it to translate more difficult press texts and technical literature from several languages (English, French, German to Hungarian). The accuracy of the translations is impressive. It's as if the translated texts were written in my native language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the service a bit expensive, considering Hungarian incomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fast translation and alternative translation options. Translation of entire documents. High user-friendliness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately, in the paid version, only 5 documents can be translated per month. It would be nice if this were a bit more. As a private user, the other options are too expensive. It is only partially suitable for the Hungarian language. Since the formal address in Hungarian is the 3rd person singular or plural, the program often confuses the 2nd and 3rd person in various combinations. I have complained about this several times, but unfortunately without success. We pass it on to our development. Another expression for: not interested.... Another problem is that the program often loses the connection to the Internet, even though the computer is connected to the Internet. If this occurs, the program must be closed and then the still open instance must be terminated in the task manager. Only then can it be used again after restarting the program. translation feature is very accurate and really enjoy that the company is always bringing innovation to the market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to not like when there was the translation only to European Portuguese, but now that there is also Brazilian portuguese i enjoy it a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I work as an independent English subtitle editor and AI content assessor, and frequently work on time-sensitive localization tasks in education, marketing, and technical writing. DeepL has been an absolute game-changer for both the accuracy and efficiency of my work. DeepL offers very precise, contextual, idiom- and technical term-preserving translations that outstrip those of other software tools. Its consistent script handling, too, has streamlined my subtitling routine, reducing editing times by 30–40%. The document uploading feature is particularly effective for high-volume processing, and the interface is crisp and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In addition to its advantages, DeepL does have limitations. It is not as multilingual as Google Translate, and it does not have features such as website translation and offline use. It has strict character and document limits in the free plan, and it is not as accurate with certain non-European languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
