## Decision Focus Reviews
 ### 1. Outstanding Experience: Highly Configurable No-Code Tool with Expert Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helen H. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

The experience with Decision Focus has been outstanding. The team are exceptionally knowledgeable which enables us as a team to work through options / solutions in an efficient manner. The tool itself is highly configurable / adaptable tailoring to our needs as a company. As the tool is a no code solution (with the exception of PDF report outputs), it will enable us to be self sufficient in the future.
As the Project Manager I have mainly worked with the Implementation Manager at DF, who has blown me away with his knowledge, efficiency and tenacity to help us get to the right outcome across all of the 9 modules we have been implementing.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

If the PDF reports were configurable that would enrich our ability to make changes in the future, however in the tool itself there are still many reports which are at our disposable and we can change the view of these without DF support. There are not really any dislikes about this tool, it has totally transformed how we manage Governance, Risk and Compliance activities.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Decision Focus all of our GRC teams and activities were performed on Sharepoints, spreadsheets, PowerPoint documents etc and is extremely manual for employees. In addition none of these activities were visible or linked up with each other in any way. With the use of Decision Focus we now have the capability to see Policies, which have Risks and Controls within them, actions against the, who owns them etc. In addition we link our Incidents and all our compliance activities together. This transparency has transformed the way we all work and removed a significant amount of non-value added activities.

 ### 2. Decision Focus: A true delivery partner with outstanding support throughout implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vitor P. | Business Change Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Decision Focus has been an excellent partner throughout our delivery. From the outset, the team worked with us as a true extension of our project team rather than a traditional vendor.
Jennifer and Surinder, and their team, provided unwavering support throughout the implementation, consistently demonstrating deep product knowledge, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to helping us succeed. They were always available to work through challenges, offer practical solutions, and adapt to our evolving requirements. Jeff’s backing and oversight further strengthened this partnership, ensuring continuity, clarity, and confidence during delivery.
What really stood out was the collaborative approach, the team took the time to understand our business context and worked alongside us to deliver outcomes, not just software. Their professionalism, flexibility, and dedication were instrumental in keeping delivery on track.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

Very little to dislike, the only minor area for improvement is report accessibility, as some advanced reporting still requires coding. That said, this is a small trade‑off given the platform’s flexibility and the exceptional support from the team.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralised GRC platform that enables consistent governance and improved business oversight.

 ### 3. Effortless Setup and Customization with Decision Focus

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael P. | Customer and Risk MI Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Decision Focus is a highly adaptable tool for creating datasets, forms, and automations. The setup process is relatively straightforward, especially if you have prior experience with similar systems. It becomes even simpler when you have guidance from a Decision Focus Architect, who can offer valuable suggestions and highlight options you might not have considered.

The data is organized logically, and there are extensive customization options for tailoring how you gather user requirements. For example, you can clearly communicate to users exactly what information the form is seeking. While this approach is common in data collection tools, what sets Decision Focus apart is its 'No Code' nature. This means you only need to add the appropriate commentary in the right place, and it will appear meaningfully on the front end without any coding required.

The system also features integrated MI capabilities, providing highly customizable charts on the front end. This allows users to access and interact with data in a much more visual and engaging way.

Throughout the weeks of setup and testing, I have worked with two contacts at Decision Focus. I have found both to be readily available via Teams or email, and they have been extremely efficient in implementing changes—often making adjustments live during our calls. Their support has made what could have been a challenging setup process remarkably easy. In our case, we were able to replicate a system that had been developed over several years in less than a month. Achieving this with a system that required more complex coding or validation would have taken much longer.

This is a system our business will use multiple times daily. Based on its setup and user interface, I expect it to provide a smooth and intuitive experience for our users. Since we have customized Decision Focus to closely resemble our previous system, I anticipate the transition will be seamless.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

I realize this may sound a bit contradictory, but while the 'No Code' aspect can be a significant advantage in some situations, it can also present certain drawbacks. Validation is managed through a set of customizable rules, which offers flexibility. However, coming from a background in coded solutions, I find the setup process somewhat more drawn out compared to working directly with code—though I do appreciate not having to sift through hundreds of lines.

Additionally, the MI capabilities based on the data are somewhat more limited than I initially expected. The system does support live on-screen updates, data extracts, and API connections to Power BI. Still, I have found that creating charts to track trends over time is more complicated. This complexity arises because the data is always live, making it difficult to reference the status of a data point at a specific moment and observe how it has changed. Overcoming this would require some thoughtful planning.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our specific use case, we are onboarding multiple business areas. Previously, each area was managed separately, and although there were discussions and meetings about potential overlaps, integration was limited. Now, this approach provides us with significantly greater integration across the business, enabling us to track with much greater accuracy how one area affects another and vice versa. It also helps ensure that related issues are not lost or overlooked.

 ### 4. Comprehensive Risk Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gareth D.

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

I really appreciate how Decision Focus integrates its multiple modules seamlessly, which allows me to easily connect the dots between different components such as risk and controls, policy management, and incidents. This interconnectedness helps me gain more comprehensive insights into our residual risk, ensuring that the data is complete and accurate. The platform provides clear visibility into high-risk areas and features excellent interactive dashboards that significantly enhance reporting. Moreover, the initial setup was straightforward, thanks to the exceptional support and expertise provided by Decision Focus, which made the entire process hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

I find that the role-based access in Decision Focus is tricky to set up. More clarity around roles and access definitions would be helpful.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Decision Focus to gain meaningful insights into risk control data, enhance policy management, and incident tracking. It integrates modules seamlessly, provides a true reflection of residual risk, offers visibility into high-risk areas, and features interactive dashboards for comprehensive reporting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Their ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines has been instrumental in keeping our projects on track.

Actively solving the challenge of modernising our governance, risk, and control framework. This has delivered clear benefits to Intact Insurance, enabling us to stay up to date with the latest technology and evolving legislation that underpin the day-to-day running of the business.

 ### 7. Intuitive Solution with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barry S. | Financial Control Business partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Really intuitive. Helpful implementation team, willing to listen to what we wanted as a customer. Covers everything we needed it to across a range of challenging and previously disparate stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

Doesn't come with an immediate off the shelf link to our business process mapping software, but this is more of a nice to have than a necessity

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were managing our Financial Control Framework across a suite of different excel sheets using vlookups and macros. Multiple data entry points, redundancy, inconsistency etc. ensued. DF has taken care of this and resolved our problems. It has increased our understanding of our control environment, from a standardised metrics perspective, exponentially to the effort involved.

 ### 9. Streamlined and Insightful Tool for Business Decision-Making

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prithive k. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

I like Decision Focus because it's very easy to access and intuitive for any new user. From a project management perspective, it offers a clear overview of ongoing projects and helps identify and analyze bottlenecks effectively. The inbuilt API key distribution feature is especially helpful—it allows me to create custom dashboards and present project insights clearly to leadership. Additionally, the support team is fantastic—their swift and friendly responses have helped us overcome any challenges quickly, making the entire experience seamless.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

While Decision Focus is a powerful platform with many useful features, it can be overwhelming at times to locate specific functionalities. A comprehensive reference video library or feature walkthroughs would be incredibly helpful. This would allow users to quickly understand how to use various tools within the platform and apply them to their specific needs more effectively.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Decision Focus helps streamline our project and portfolio management by giving us a centralized view of all ongoing initiatives. It enables us to easily track progress, identify bottlenecks, and make informed decisions based on real-time data. ### 13. IBM Cloud- Decision Focus- Supplier Risk Management Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ankit d. | Control Lead- Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

1. DF is a powerful and intuitive platform that helps organisations streamline governance, risk, and compliance. IBM Cloud using it for Supplier Risk Management.
2. DF is providing a centralised view of risks, controls, and actions.
3.DF configurable dashboards, real-time reporting, and collaborative features make it especially effective for driving accountability and supporting informed, data-driven decisions across teams.
4. Ease of Integration- IBM requested lot many complicated enhancement and happy to inform that decision focus has ease of implementation all the requirement.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

Customer Support: Clear timelines for addressing work items are often missing. We've observed that certain requests take significantly longer than expected without prior communication.

Staff Behavior: At times, the interactions with support staff have felt discourteous or unconstructive, particularly when suggestions are offered in an abrupt or dismissive manner.

Proactiveness: There is a noticeable lack of proactive guidance or innovative solutions from the support team. We would appreciate more forward-looking recommendations based on our usage patterns.

User Interface: The current UI could be more intuitive and user-friendly. Compared to similar GRC tools, the interface feels less polished and may benefit from usability enhancements.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stores policies, controls, risk assessments, audit logs, and regulatory mappings in one place.
Provides a single source of truth for auditors, compliance teams, and stakeholders.

 ### 14. Great team with a lot of experience in ERM and general compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin T. | Business Architect & Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Decision Focus has great out-the-box solutions to meet a lot of our ERM and compliance oversight activities. In all cases, we modified the out-the-box solutions to meet our own business process and this was easy to do. The platform is very easy to configure (I'm a self-taught citizen developer) and the Decision Focus are always on hand to guide me and offer best practices.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

The Decision Focus platform does things it's own way, which does differ sometimes to other platform's (such as MS PowerApps) approach. This has both up-sides and down-sides. Having said that, we have never been able to achieve what we want and it is just about adapting to the platforms design. I have nothing negative to say about the Decision Focus team working on our project as they are all knowledgeable, engaging, and willing to make a plan when our business requirements are a bit out of the box.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Lloyd's Managing Agent, we have a responsibility to provide oversight and assurance of our 20+ clients and their 3rd party suppliers. We are using Decision Focus for all aspects of this oversight which includes Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Governance, 3rd Party & Service Management, Operational Resilience, Compliance Oversight, Underwriting Oversight, Internal Audit, and Regulatory Returns Oversight.

 ### 15. Seemless, intuitive, and totally flexible to match a diverse customer base

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul G. | Delivery Lead - DF, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Having used/implemented a number of other ERM systems what has impressed me most is its ability to just about solve/deliver any problem/solution thrown at it. If users have the time to undergo the reasonably absorbable training you have have the ability to tailor your risk data for various the various LODs and committees, making the dependency on you not waiting for a 3rd party supplier to provide a solution.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

If I had one negative point it might be around the Reporting functionality - although I've never experienced this done well with any system - worth pointing out also that I haven't used the reporting feature that much, as the dashboards can easily be made to reflect/tailor information required, so it may be better than I think.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because the system is so easy & intuitive it has demolished 1LOD reluctance/hesitance to engage, this facilitates more time for the 2LOD to perform more value-adding reviews/workstreams.

 ### 16. Flexible Platform Backed by Expert Consultants

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole M. | Risk Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Very flexible platform supported by talented implementation consultants. The platform itself is super intuitive to use and design. The migration from our previous GRC platform to Decision Focus was smooth. The support team reacts super quick to requests.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

There is nothing I dislike about Decision Focus.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Supporting our Risk Management and Information Security processes very well.

 ### 17. Flexible, Intuitive Tool with Outstanding Support and Dashboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

DF is a really flexible tool, it is really intuitive for end users, and allows various views and strong connectivity between data points. We have been working with Simon Vaughan who is absolutely brilliant, he challenges our thinking whilst making the build approach fun and simple and effective. The dashboards within the tool are excellent.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

We are currently working through reporting and data extraction from DF, which is going to be key to embedding the benefits expected from the tool

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of data, enables consistent process and ways of working. Visbility for users across functional areas and risk taxonomy categories

 ### 18. Highly customisable tool for GRC and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

The tool is very customisable, being a low-code solution with the ability for our internal workspace administrators to customise almost anything within the forms or dashboards. The licence covers all their standard modules (which are constantly being developed and improved), but if we have more niche needs we can either engage with the helpful team to develop something bespoke, or in most cases we can simply build it ourselves. I've always had great support from the consultants, who are always available if I need help building something or have any issues. The tool can provide automatic notifications, dashboards, and help automate processes which might otherwise need more manual steps. All parts of the system can be linked together, providing a holistic view of your organisation's activities.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

With the ability to customise the tool extensively, we must be extra careful not to configure it wrong. Some criticism from 1st line users has been that the system is clunky, but in many cases this has been poor configuration. Some of the features in the configuration tools don't have clear guidance to show what they do. DF have recently launched a much more extensive training course for workspace administrators to mitigate this risk, but it can't cover everything. The only other improvements I've suggested are in the dashboard creation tool - compared to a lot of similar tools it does have some great features for creating dashboards and visualising the data, but the widgets available aren't as varied or customisable as you would find in a data visualisation tool such as Power BI so I sometimes end up taking the data out of Decision Focus into another application to produce reporting.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously a lot of the governance activities were completed in silos within each department, usually on an Excel spreadsheet with lots of manual work. Having everything on one central system helps us to keep a consistent approach, capture data across the whole organisation, and automate a lot of manual work. It also means we can link our different workstreams together, such as

 ### 19. Intuitive system which is simple to tailor to company needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elise N. | Risk Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Decision focus has met our GRC needs with its intuitive and simple to use platform. The ability to tailor the platform to my companies monitoring and reporting needs is excellent and simple to do with short training and no prior coding experience.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

The standard module packages can be too complicated/detailed for a smaller less mature company, however changes can be made to hide unwanted fields.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Decision focus has provided a space for us to efficiently completely link together different elements of our risk universe as well as providing a system and audit trail for risk and control self assessments. Dashboards have also helped with quarterly committee reporting.

 ### 20. Comprehensive Risk Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandra G. | Risk Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

Decision Focus is a comprehensive risk management solution designed to help businesses identify, assess, and manage risks across various areas of the organisation. The system is user-friendly, featuring a clean, intuitive layout and insightful dashboard views that summarises key data. While it offers a wide range of features, Decision Focus remains highly flexible and easy to reconfigure, making it well-suited to adapt to the varying business needs.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

It would be great to see Decision Focus expand their system by incorporating AI and more customisable and dynamic reporting.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping our organisation to centralise all risk, compliance, and third-party risk management (TPRM) data in one place, creating a single source of truth.

 ### 21. Positive Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davin L. | Director of Risk and Compliance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

The system provides many modules to support holistic assurance. The interface has been well received by users. The staff are responsive and use their knowledge of the system to help you get the most of it.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

The flexibility of the system could lead to complexity and therefore a continued reliance on DF to make updates/ system developments.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the key recent benefits is the implementation of the control self-assessment. This has improved the efficiency of the risk assessment process and increased control owner accountability.

 ### 22. Decision Focus Implementation Jan 2025

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

The platform has automated and streamlined various processes that support our risk management framework very efficiently. Its a highly configurable tool which allowed to implement our existing framework.

The implementation process was positive we were very ably supported by our project team at Decision Focus. They were very responsive and readily available to discuss issues and queries in order to really understand and support the inclusion of specific requirements from our framework. This support has continued since we went live. Feedback from the business has been positive and it is embedding well and is used daily.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

The reporting and dashboard elements of the system are good however not immediately intuitive and require additional build and training to develop and establish. Similarly the user views and filters offer lots of flexibility but can be slightly confusing to navigate until familiar.

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has created efficiencies across various processes and is strengthening business-wide ownership of assigned work items. It is allowing colleagues to self serve to a greater extent when inputting and managing information and increasingly when producing reports.

Great service. Thank you to James and Prateek. We have really received great service from you throughout. We appreciate your attention to detail and client forward thinking.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

We use a lot of MS Planner to do routine reminders and tasks and its really one of the easier systems to use, while getting the job done. I do find it easier to do control attestations in Planner with its recurring task features, which I feel is missing from the controls features of DF. Having to reopen tasks quarterly to resubmit them is cumbersome.

**Reviewed by:** Adam D. | Risk Advisory Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

The system is highly configurable, meaning we did not have to change our framework methodology. The implementation team were also very knowledgeable and quick to make changes to individual modules.

The training of the tool was insightful and showed the ease of use. whenever I questioned if decision focus could do something there was always a solution and the customer support was great throughout

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

there are some quirks e.g. sometimes you have to save twice in slightly different sections or you will lose the progress you have made - like when making a dashboard

helping us track out data in a central location to understand what we hold

 ### 31. Flexible and well structured system with great customer experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Decision Focus?**

The platform itself is great, but the enthusiasm of the team to help resolve client's issues is by far their best feature.

**What do you dislike about Decision Focus?**

A very minor gripe but I feel the process to screen for particular risks has one too many clicks involved with it!

**What problems is Decision Focus solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Formalising a very disaggregated number of risk registers across different business divisions and different financial products to improve overall visibility of enterprise risk.

the general knowldge of the wider team. Always having solutions to problems and very rarely saying no this isnt possible.

automation and consistent MI. Also helping combat upcoming regulatory changes by having core solutions ready to go
