**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Dean Dorton was especially helpful during the integration phase in helping resolve any issues with the integration between the two programs and in understanding what information was important to integrate between the software. Dean Dorton has continued to follwo up to see if we have additional needs or issues that need to be resolved.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

No significant issues but I wish they would have provided more insight on the reamifications of some decisions made during the integration process.

**Recommendations to others considering Dean Dorton:**

Even if they don't seem relevant at the time, ask a lot of questions about the services they will be providing and about the software you are looking to implement.

**What problems is Dean Dorton solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dean Dorton helped us transition from a complex and ineffective ERP system to an integrated system (Sage Intacct & CMAP) that gives us much better insight into our business.

The project planning dashboard can be a little confusing...but it is still effective.

**Recommendations to others considering Dean Dorton:**

Our experience thus far has been top notch.  The project plan was laid out up front and explained in detail.  We are working through that plan steadily and learning a lot.  So far, it has been a great experience.

**What problems is Dean Dorton solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working with Dean Dorton on the implementation of Sage Intacct.  So far the process has been very well thought out and structured.  The sales process was straight forward and not pushy.  The implementation process is moving along very well.  We already feel like we've learned a lot, and we don't go live for several months.

Their custom solution is rock solid, but I would say it has been their support that has been phenomenal.  Anytime there is an issue we can get into their top level engineer fairly quickly to get answers!

One of the things I dislike is that at times it can feel a bit expensive.

If you have a need for implementation or ongoing support for Sage Intacct Dean Dorton is a great option!

They were able to provide a solution that ties well into our other key applications to bring about a seamless financial experience!

Strick adherence to the Statement of Work.  We realized we didn't really know what we needed when we started.  Although, change orders were easy.

Consider the Statement of Work carefully.  They stick to it.

We first started with DeRosa Mangold  back in 2005.  We hired them to train our small staff in all of the modules within Mas90 (aka Sage100).  This training was invaluable for us.  We had already been using Mas90 for about 8 months prior, but truly, we were not utilizing the software to its potential.  This training filled in so many gaps for us and was well worth the investment.  We continue to this day to happily use DeRosa Mangold as our  Sage100 consultant.  Every couple years, they upgrade our software in a timely manner. They are always available to efficiently resolve our issues and/or answer questions that come up regarding Sage100.  All of their staff is very knowledgeable about the software as well as are so courteous and helpful.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

When I have an issue within the software, they remote into my computer to see exactly what the issue is that I am struggling to resolve.  So far, any issue that I have come across, has been resolved in just the one interaction.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

I don't really have anything that I dislike about DeRosa Mangold.

DeRosa Mangold  will always go out of their way to provide you with the most exemplary service.

Migrated from SAGE100 to SAGE Intacct in Dec 2018, then added workflow process features over the next two years (Budget & Planning, Prepaid Expense Amortization, and Fixed Assets).

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Mike and team take the time to understand the pain points and then look for solutions. They are never tied to just one solution and keep working until pain points are solved.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

They may not have broad experience with some of the solutions. But, they really try to help you figure it out.

**What problems is Dean Dorton solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was using Excel for managing 100+ prepaid expense entries. SAGE Intacct recently came out with an Integrated Prepaid Expense Amortization feature. After a little guidance from the team I was able to "ditch" the spreadsheet and my last month-end close prepaid expense reconciliation was so quick. I am currently working on implementing the Fixed Asset feature so I can ditch that spreadsheet. Thanks Team DeRosa.

Mike DeRosa took over an hour of his time to help me navigate Sage professional services and figure out the best plan of action to get some on site consulting.  He listened to our business problem and provided insights that helped me determine the best plan of action related to project accounting.

We have a complicated model and he listed and helped me break it down into pieces.

In this case we were not allowed to go outside of the professional services provided by the solution to engage DeRosa.

While we haven't engaged them yet, they have already provided a wealth of information to help us with our implementation and I plan to use them in the future when we purchase add on modules.

We were in a very difficult spot with our current ERP environment Sage-50.  Needing to upgrade and no idea how to accomplish such a Herculean task, we called DeRosa Mangold to assist.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Mike and his team (Mitzi, Tony, and Kelly) were awesome from the first meeting on.  They worked hard to understand our business – both in its current state as well as the vision for our future – and offered invaluable advice and guidance in developing/improving our workflow and processes.  Taking the task in pieces, DeRosa identified key stakeholders in each process (Quote to Cash and Procure to Pay) and was able to gain acceptance for input items and process flows across the entire company.  This process provided for a high adoption rate to the new system and facilitated discussions that ultimately allowed for more efficient transaction processing.  DeRosa helped to implement our single point of entry philosophy that continues to allow us to leverage data across multiple aspects of our transactions.  From system knowledge to project management, the DeRosa team was instrumental in our conversion and provides world class support post-implementation.  I can’t imagine us achieving our goals of a seamless transition without Mike DeRosa and the DeRosa Team’s help.

I only wish I had started the conversion sooner!

Take your time with the process and don't cut corners.  If you stay the course, you will achieve the results you were looking for.

We migrated from a client-based version that was too small for to handle our current business much less future growth to a web-based solution that is flexible and pliable for any eventuality we may face.  In addition, a dimensionally based General Ledger has allowed us to begin to mine our data in ways that we couldn’t have imagined a year ago.  We now have fact-based discussions where we utilize the dynamic data available in Sage Intacct.

My client hired Mike and his team to facilitate the movement of their company from Quickbooks and spreadsheets (lots and lots of spreadsheets!!) over to Sage Intacct. This was a big move for us, because we were finally able to put all our apples into the same basket.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Mike and his team were always easy to get ahold of despite us being in separate time zones. They answered our questions the same day they were asked or always acknowledged receipt and told me, hey we are working on it. I feel like with a big transition like this, communication is key, and it's important as the client to feel like you are being heard. We were never treated like some run of the mill bulk customer. Everything they did was tailored to meet our needs. They weren't afraid to admit when we were pushing their knowledge boundaries, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy the few challenges we threw their way! It was really nice to work with a company who treats their employees and their clients like family. I was very pregnant during the process, and Mike and the team went above and beyond to meet the needs of my ever changing schedule. I received some delicious chocolates along the way, and they happily stepped back during implementation and gave me a month of breathing room after our daughter was born. Since implementation they have followed up with us regularly and provide extremely prompt support with any questions we have. I should add that at no point did Mike (owner) ever simply pass us off to the rest of the team. He was present at pretty much every meeting and very much involved in the process. 

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

I sat for at least 10 minutes thinking this over and I really don't think I can fault the service we received. At all. I guess if you don't like chocolates or good communication skills, then these are not the people to work with!

Same advice I would give to anyone looking to form an ongoing relationship. Talk to the team, make sure everyone gels and can communicate well. There is nothing I would say you specifically need to be aware of working with them.

**What problems is Dean Dorton solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have all the information we require to run my clients thriving business in one place. All the staff are on the same page with no back and forth of excess questions. Within 12 months of implementation we were really able to see where the exisiting team excelled and the gaps we needed to fill, and our software allowed us to seamlessly integrate a new employee, allowing existing staff to really excel at their individual roles.

Putting faces with names and voices. Personal testimony of Janice Chapman about transitioning to and using Sage Intacct.

Wasn't so much a dislike but I would like to do this again and it be focused on one module at a time. Maybe quarterly and the time could be spent showing tips about that module and answering questions.

Do not hesitate working with them. They are all very professional and responsive to your concerns and will go the extra mile to get you a resolution.

One software program to handle and integrate with each other so processes run smoother and less chance of mistakes. Audit logs. Less spreadsheets. Ability to import and export.

We had to convert all of our data to a form that could be easily imported into IntAcct and have it take over all of our Accounting functions.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

I like the ease of use that IntAcct provides. It is easy to transition and to teach. I can easily tell where everything is and most items link back to original entries and give the option to change them if necessary. 

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

I do not like the transition to a drop down menu instead of the quick tabs that were originally there. I also think that there should be a feature search bar. If I know what I'm looking for, but I do not know what section it's in, I should be able to search and select it from a search menu.

IntAcct is a great software. I would suggest always using the newest format available.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

I have partnered with Massey Consulting though several organizations and on multiple accounting products over the last 15 years.  Philip and his team are great for giving recommendations to help solve process issues.  They are true partners and understand that their client's success ultimately leads to their success.  

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

Years ago, responsiveness to support issues was a little on the slow side, but that has greatly improved with the addition of knowledgeable support staff.  No complaints now!

**Recommendations to others considering Dean Dorton:**

Heading into a project, ensure you take the time to scrub your data and understand the options of the new system you will be implementing to take the greatest advantage of all it's features.  Make sure you have enough resources (people and/or time) to set things up right the first time.

Massey Consulting helped us implement Intacct with helpful project guidelines, deadlines, and answers to all of our questions.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Super easy to work with,  able to quickly schedule meetings that work for. us and our consultants, the project management software was easy to use and go back to see where we stand on the implementation and what the next steps are, our consultants checked in with us to see how things were going and were always available for questions. They know what modules to recommend that fit our company.

There is nothing that I disliked while working with Massey.

Make sure you have the time to dedicate to your project.  It will make your implementation process 10x easier.

Numerous task Massey has assisted us with.  They are great GP and FRX consultants. They help write different reports for us, as well as, problems with our software. I would be lost if I knew I couldn't call Massey for assistance with any computer related or software problem. 

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

The relationship I have developed with Massey over the years. They are there to help and we talk about general stuff too. They are considered friends and well as our IT support group. I would recommend them to anyone in need of support. The knowledge Is phenomenal. Each person has his or her special talent when it comes to solving issues.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

I don't like putting in tickets. I always got faster service and better attention when I called. I'm sure it is suppose to help matters but in our case it does not. Somehow, we get forgotten or overlooked when using the ticket process.

I've used Massey Consulting at two previous companies and will be implementing Intacct with Massey Consulting in the next month or so.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

I've always had a good experience with Massey Consulting consultants.  They are very knowledgeable and have always been very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

I don't have anything that I can think of that I dislike.

GP 2016 to Dynamic 2016. Massey help us plan and implement a new Dynamics webserver and Dynamics Database server. Massey provided training for the new users and support for the previous users in an effective manner so they could hit the ground running.

**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

The efficiency of training and implementation.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

Nothing that I can recall, I would have preferred more on-site vs remote, at times.

I would recommend Massey to anyone interested in getting the job done with professionals.

The knowledge Massey Consulting brings to the table. Massey raised questions during implementation that assisted us in reevaluating certain processes and making adjustments as needed.

Massey's arsenal of options may seem overwhelming to a company when looking into how to handle a specific software solution. The options are presented in a way that allows a company to evaluate and make informed decisions that are best for their company.

Massey has a good knowledge of Intacct and the partner marketplace.

I haven't found anything I dislike.  They have been able to help us with our planning/growth.

We utilize Billie, when needed, usually for Scribe and SQL queries. Her expertise in both of these areas always gets the job done.. Most recently, we had a power outage during an A/P check run, which left the batch "incomplete" and "stuck". Billie was able to get the system back in order quickly and we were able to move forward with our work.


**What do you like best about Dean Dorton?**

Billies sense of urgency to help and make sure we are satisfied.

**What do you dislike about Dean Dorton?**

The hourly rate for the service seems high, but it is competitive with other firms doing similar work.

If you are looking for Dynamics GP experts, Massey is the one.
