**What do you like best about DaySmart Salon?**

Making tickets and the ability to edit tickets has been much better than competitors that we have looked into. We love using the email marketing and text confirmation features.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

I wish they would have online forms that would link to client profiles.

**Recommendations to others considering DaySmart Salon:**

If you are like myself and running a day spa with licensed professionals and front desk. When choosing a platform to use as a CRM I would highly recommend running through your day and all of the things you would want to do to reach out to clients and communicate with clients and your therapist and make sure whatever software you chooses meets those needs as you do a dry run.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to run reports for clients that have not been in in a certain amount of days and reaching out to clients to book appointments for our professionals. The ability to store credit cards with online booking has helped save our number of cancellations and recoup when we have no shows for our therapist.

So many things! I love the ease of setting things up how it works best for my business

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

There are a few flaws in the online booking - I end up with alot of duplicate clients. But otherwise it works great!

**Recommendations to others considering DaySmart Salon:**

I have tried other softwares. This one is by far the best  and I have used it for 16 years! I can't imagine running my business without it. I also have chair renters that have their own daysmart software on their computer and they love it to. The reports you get are very informative, its easy to record formulas and look up previous history of services, products purchased and amount charged. So much information in this software that I would be lost without it! The other software I tried only caused me headaches and frustration. I feel like this software has thought of everything and just makes my life so much easier! Customer service is great as well. Very helpful and easy to contact.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the automatic reminders that go out. It's also very easy to create a mass email or text.The online booking is very convenient for our clients and saves us alot if phone calls.

**What do you like best about DaySmart Salon?**

The best thing about daysmart is that it's easy to use. Clients being able to book online and confirm appointments by text have been a time saver. The app is also great. Nice to be able to do everything from your phone or tablet.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

I only have a few dislikes but it doesn't take away from the software. I wish people could cancel appointments online or by confirmation text. Also wish that we could just delete the services that a stylist does not perform instead of having to put in what thy do perform one by one.

Great software! Would definitely recommend.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daysmart helps us keep everything organized and on schedule. It also helps us save a lot of time having everything all in one place. Software is very easy to use.

**What do you like best about DaySmart Salon?**

The scheduling and appointment book is easy to use and manage. The icons help to understand what each button is for. Daysmart pairs nicely with our card machine.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

The software itself seems a bit dated. It isn't aesthetic as it could be. The downloaded application should look the same as the website application. It would also be nice to have more updated marketing templates. A lot of the templates look like they are from the early 2000s.

**Recommendations to others considering DaySmart Salon:**

If you are a salon that wants to use Daysmart to incorporate marketing, I wouldn't recommend it as their Marketing isn't as innovative.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daysmart has worked amazingly with our payment system. Before, we were inputting cards by hand. We can quickly and accurately get people checked out and ready to leave the salon.

**What do you like best about DaySmart Salon?**

What I like best about DaySmart Salon is that it has all the features (Online Booking, Payroll, Remote Access) that I need to start my business. Also, they are continuously working on providing new add-on options (Reputation Management, 2-way Texting, Text Marketing) relevant to growing my business.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

The only downside of DaySmart Salon is that the features vary between the Desktop and Cloud versions. I currently am using the Desktop and cannot access Cloud features like Walk-In Kiosk and Digital Online Forms. Would like to have an option to modify online booking requests as opposed to accept/reject only. Also, allowing more customizable options for how loyalty points can be earned and redeemed would be helpful. Limited email marketing campaign templates available.

**Recommendations to others considering DaySmart Salon:**

Great investment for a reliable POS that helps you start and grow your business. The support team is friendly and very knowledgeable.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With DaySmart Salon, I can provide the online booking 24/7 option to my clients, making it more convenient for them to do business with me. Having the text & email reminders help decrease the number of no-show appointments.

I love how easy DaySmart Salon booking software is. I'm able to customize as much as I want, I have reports at my fingertips, and I love the online booking feature.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

I'd like a widget for phones that shows your appointments for the day or next appointment. I'd also love an Apple Watch app for easier access.

Easy booking software for you and your clients, simple design and layout, headache-free

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling is easier for my clients and I, being able to require a credit card on file has helped prevent last minute changes and no-show clients, as well as preventing fake bookings.

I love the online booking. It's easy, my clients can fill out forms at home. It makes the check in process faster when they come. We are a busy salon so being quick up front is a plus.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

I don't like that packages can't be broken down into payment plans. I can't use them because my clients aren't able to purchase the whole yearly package in one payment.

**What problems is DaySmart Salon solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best benefit to me is being ale to send a mass text to all of my clients at once instead of calling everyone one by one. I mainly use it for promotion reminders.

I love this program! Everything I need is all in one app. I really love the text reminders to clients so they always know when they are coming in.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

Only thing i don't like is when I'm checking out a client I have to go out of it and look up the client in another section to see when they upcoming appt is.

Check out, formulas, and booking all in one app. I don't have to reach out to a bank or another source for taking credit cards!

Easy navigation, ability to store credit cards on file, ease of booking and rescheduling a client with just a few clicks, hands off automated appointment confirmation text/email, hands off automated tip prompt

Inability to adjust credit cards on file such as a quick expiration date update, inability to sell online digital gift certificates, inability for clients to reschedule their own appointments without contacting me

Automated inventory count, bookkeeping is easy, all client purchases and appointments are recorded, easy way of navigating the schedule

I have tried several different salon programs, and Salon Iris / Daysmart is by far the best out there. And a great bonus is the staff. Everyone is so very helpful when we call for support.

That we cant use our cell phones to load the photos to the clients profiles

I promise you it is the best program to keep you business and staff organized

Bookkeeping. Clients no-shows have declined dramatically. Staff booking more being they have their appointment book on their cell phones

I'm able to keep track of all my clients, their formulas, and all of their history. Not to mention it makes tax time very easy, to just print my reports. Ive used other salon software in the past, and this is by far my favorite!

I'm not sure if I can keep track of my booth renters. Although I might be able to, I just need to call and ask.

I love the ease of the app and how versatile the desktop version is. The mobile communication MMS to SMS is so helpful for reminders!

The program often lags. we even upgraded our desktop to fit their recommended modifications!

Text reminders and confirmations as well as ticket history hve allowed us to pinpoint mistakes and train specific employees to fix mistakes

Very user-friendly for anyone of all ages. The text and email confirmations are a lifesaver. I'm not sure what tools this question is referring to. It's very much a competitive product.

Some of the features need to be more advanced. Everything seems to work as well as suspected.

If you are looking for user-friendly, easily adaptable salon software, look no further. Great mobile features for on-the-go appointment scheduling.

Some of the ways you have to take away packages or if you redeem a package you cant change the time after

The remote access. It's easy for the customers to use . Keeps me organized and customers say it's easy to use .

After they pick a time for appointments, I wish there was a button to say make sure you hit the accept button after picking a time. It's causes lots of confusion as the customer thinks they are already done and confirmed the booking .

Integration between desktop and App. Live Chat troubleshooting, online booking

that it doesn not auto populate existing clients names/ numbers, that the monthly reports are limited with detail, it often shuts down/logs off mid transaction, most importantly that there is not the ability to create a pop up that prohibits booking a clients without reading the notes such as: do not book , or requires deposit

I would recommend it.

problems are the ones listed above. Not having the ability to create pop up for clients prior to scheduling their appointment.  Lack of details for independent stylsits within monthly reports.

The program is user friendly as I'm not very tech savvy, plus if I have any questions, they are pretty easy to get a hold of for help.

There isn't a barcode scanning option that I have seen.

The report function is great and I love that it calculates payroll for me. Plus it makes tax time easier!

Calendar and scheduling is easy on the phone.

Lack of reporting necessary information;  limits with booking that don't mirror real life (scheduling people during processing etc.

**Recommendations to others considering DaySmart Salon:**

basics are covered well (calendar, scheduling, etc) but if you want to do anything like track downtime, or return customers, etc you wont find what you'e looking for. Also plan to spend 35-90 mins on phone with people when you have questions.  Everything is an add-on so you pay for everything every month.

Can download app on my cell phone and can make appointments at any time. I like that you can also text your clients and it doesn't show as my personal number.

If you contact me I can give you a number of things that need to be tweaked

Working on individual iPads and not waiting for One computer. Checks clients out faster.

It's fairly simple to use and intuitive. Great features - appointment, embedded online booking, reputation management.

**What do you dislike about DaySmart Salon?**

UI can be a bit clunky and outdated. No feature to create custom reports and searches. Not as easy to find previous transactions.

Appointment scheduling - in-person and online (can be integrated with other tools (ie. Facebook, Instagram)). Reputation mgmt, gift cards, reporting

I find it most helpful that when we contact their customer service they are always friendly and able to answer our questions.

Some challenges on waiting for all of the functionality transitioning to the cloud from the desk top version.
