"No more screenshot nightmares"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

Honestly for me DataPatrol is the simpliest solution to be implemented as an onprem solution. The best part is how easy it is to roll out across our whole company without driving IT crazy. We’ve got people on Windows laptops, MacBooks, Linux workstations, even Android tablets in the field—and DataPatrol just works everywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

Currently they haven't support for iOS Mobile. It will be nicer if they support iOS Mobile, because nowdays so many people are using iOS Mobile. I hope soon DataPatrol will support iOS Mobile soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Multi-Platform Support for Enterprise Data Protection"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

One of Datapatrol’s key strengths is its broad platform compatibility. The solution supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android, enabling organizations to deploy consistent document watermarking and data-protection policies across mixed environments. This makes it particularly suitable for enterprises and regulated sectors where multi-OS usage is common (e.g., development teams on Linux, designers on macOS, and operations teams on Windows/Android). What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

Currently there are no particular downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer in Data Security"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

What I like best about DataPatrol is how easy it makes it to actually see and control what’s happening with sensitive data across the organization. The visibility it provides is impressive — I can track file movements, monitor risky behavior, and set up specific rules that fit exactly what we need without overcomplicating things.

It’s flexible, doesn’t slow down performance,. As a security engineer, having that level of control and clarity without constantly fighting the tool is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

One thing I’d say is that while DataPatrol offers a lot of customization options, sometimes setting up very specific policies can take a bit more time than expected. It’s not overly complicated, but it does require some patience and testing to get everything just right.

That said, the flexibility it provides is definitely worth the effort, and the platform’s overall performance and reliability more than make up for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"smooth onboarding and easy to work with"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

DataPatrol’s admin panel is very user-friendly and makes it easy to manage the solution overall. One of the best things is how quick and simple the implementation process is—it can be up and running in less than a day. Updating the agent is also straightforward and only requires uploading a new package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

While DataPatrol overall works well, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the advanced settings and features could use clearer documentation or built-in tips—it's not always obvious what each option does without checking the manual. Occasionally, navigating through deeper layers of the interface can feel a bit clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

The admin panel is very user-friendly and very easy to navigate. It is very straight to the point, and each feature is clearly marked and accessible. The features are also fully customizable in many ways (i.e., the font color of the watermark, the positioning, the data that can appear, etc.). I highly recommend this product. Not only for the amazing tool but also for the great customer support that is provided by the DataPatrol! Highly recommend this product!

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?* So far I haven't faced any issue or problems with DataPatrol.

What problems is DataPatrol solving, and how is it benefiting you?

It is securing our company's data and information from internal leak threats. This helps us monitor who, if, and when print screens are being taken through the logs and what is being printed, and if printed, the document is also secured/protected by the watermark. This benefits us by:

1- Securing our data

2- Ensure the user thinks twice before taking a print screen or a picture with a mobile device of the data on the screen,

3- Ensuring the user thinks twice before sharing a printed document with valuable information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DataPatrol helped our clients to gain real visibility and control over insider threats"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

The best thing about DataPatrol Solutions was how easy it was to roll out to multiple users without disrupting their day-to-day business. Their features are working exactly as expected. The admin panel made tracking everything in real-time so simple, and the support staff were always available when we needed them. It gave us the control and visibility and enhanced their team awareness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

The only challenge with the datapatrol solutions is that it cannot be implemented on iPhone (IOS), but this is due to Apple's policy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing solution ! Secured effectively all our screens with zero hassle"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

The solution is very simple and easy to use. Deployment was quick and took less than 2 hours. The agent is lightweight, so it doesn’t slow anything down, and their dedicated update center makes it easy to keep everything up-to-date. Plus, their customer support is fast and always ready to help.

What’s even more impressive is that the software itself is protected from all admins (and users of course), with strong security measures in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

To be honest, I didn't notice any downside to the DataPatrol's solution.

A common drawback with similar solutions is that they can be a bit technical, making them hard for teams to handle. That was not the case here everything is well explained, simple, and easy to use, even without technical expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Securing internal data"
What do you like best about DataPatrol?

Applying the Digital Watermark on the screen adds additional security layer and makes us be resposable for the data we have.

We have the watermark always on the screen to ensure it shows when any data is being showing on the screen.

The watermark is costomazalbe by how to make the watermark and how to assign it to different teams.

Also, we are using the Printer Watermark to watermark and monitor every document is being preinterd from all printers.

Another feauture that I like is the Print Screen Prevention, where we can prevent the Screenshoots from all types of applications that do screenshoots and taking logs from these activities.

The solution is easy to apply and very light on the machine.

The supprort they have is acually 24/7 and their team is quick in respoding and solving any inquires. The implementation was easy, we finished the deployment less than a week and we integrated with Acitve Directiory for LDAP authentication and with SIEM solution to send the logs. What do you dislike about DataPatrol?

They don't have the watermark on iOS devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
