## DataCamp Reviews
 ### 1. Datacamp Keeps Me Current and Confident With In-Demand Data Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim H. | Messaging Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

Datacamp’s wide variety of course resources has been a real confidence booster, especially during this challenging job market. With funding uncertainties in my field, these courses have given me the opportunity to strengthen my résumé and grow my confidence by learning new skills and exploring emerging data tools.
Becoming more familiar with new AI products and understanding how they work has been particularly valuable. Learning and practicing SQL has already been instrumental in my current role, and I’m excited to continue building on that foundation by developing skills in dashboard creation and AI-related projects. Datacamp has truly helped me stay current and competitive in a rapidly changing environment.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Sometimes I don't have time for all the quizzes, would prefer to be able to go through the whole course without taking the quizzes.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp has been used for onboarding of new staff on certain topics which has been a great investment for our Agency.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Kim! It's great to hear that DataCamp has been a real confidence booster during such a competitive time, and that SQL is already making a difference in your day-to-day work. Using the platform for onboarding new staff at your agency is exactly the kind of impact we love to hear about. We appreciate the feedback on quizzes too. Best of luck building out those dashboard and AI skills!

 ### 2. DataCamp’s Wide Topic Range and Hands-On Practice Build Real Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin M. | Pharmaceutical Logistics & Distribution Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

The thing I like most about DataCamp is the wide range of topics it offers in Data Science, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. It has helped me appreciate the field more because I can explore different areas and continuously build my knowledge. I also value the ability to practice directly on the platform, especially through SQL exercises, coding challenges, and hands-on case studies. These practical activities help me improve my technical skills, gain real-world experience, and develop confidence in solving data-related problems

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

One thing I dislike about DataCamp is that some courses have limited explanations or do not go deep enough into certain topics. While the practical exercises are helpful, some concepts would be easier to understand if they included more detailed explanations, real-world examples, and deeper discussions to build a stronger foundation

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp has helped me understand how to approach data organization and exploration in a proper flow. It has guided me on the steps of working with data, from cleaning and arranging datasets to exploring and analyzing information effectively. Through structured lessons and practical exercises, I have learned how to handle data in a more organized way and follow a proper data analysis process

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Martin! It's wonderful to hear that the breadth of topics and hands-on exercises are making a real difference in building your confidence and technical skills. We hear you on wanting deeper explanations in some areas, and that kind of feedback genuinely helps us improve. Keep exploring and keep building!

 ### 3. Gamified learning opportunities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas C. | Demand Planning Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

The way you can learn and gamify challenges and that you literally have to pay attention and get certificates that will carry value to your personal and private, as well as your work carreer and make your persona more interesting for HR. Classes are simple, smooth and seem that is very much up to date. I get it for free trough my employment benefit so i can't comment about it. I don't like the AI application of it, i rather have real teachers but is too expensive i guess.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Has to be "company" related and can't be linkedin adding your certificates, but the website itself can be more 'smoother" and less aggresive colours and let you chose what you can see and want to see.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My knowledge barrier about Python and coding. Is benefiting me because i can look more attractive to my bossees and more smart around adding real value and solutions to problems they carry.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Nicolas! We love hearing that the gamified challenges and career-relevant certificates are making a real difference for you. Your feedback on smoother navigation and a calmer color palette is genuinely helpful and the kind of input that shapes how we improve. Keep leveling up those Python skills!

 ### 4. Interactive, Structured Learning for Real-World Data & AI Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasturi Bai G. | Payroll Coordinator at Innomar Strategies (Cencora), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

DataCamp has a clean and user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate courses, tracks, and assessments. The platform is well organized, and the bite-sized lesson format helps learners stay engaged without feeling overloaded. The interactive coding environment is one of its biggest strengths because it allows you to practice immediately while learning. DataCamp is most helpful for people who want a practical, accessible, and structured way to learn data and AI skills. Its biggest upsides are the interactive learning experience, clean interface, and strong focus on real-world technical skills. It is especially valuable for learners who prefer guided progression and hands-on practice over purely theoretical content.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

What I find least helpful about DataCamp is that, although it’s very strong for structured learning and guided practice, it can sometimes feel too controlled, overly simplified, or not fully reflective of real-world working environments. It’s useful for building foundational skills, but there are drawbacks depending on what a learner or organization needs, especially if they’re looking for something that feels closer to day-to-day work. DataCamp can create a comfortable learning experience without always preparing users for the ambiguity and complexity of real-world work. Its downsides are most noticeable for advanced learners, teams needing stronger integration, or users looking for highly current and deeply applied AI content. It is still a useful platform, but it often works best as one part of a broader learning strategy rather than a complete solution on its own.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp solves the problem of making technical learning more accessible, structured, and practical, especially for people who want to build skills in data, analytics, SQL, Python, BI, and AI without having to figure everything out on their own.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Kasturi! It means a lot to hear the interactive coding environment and bite-sized format are landing well for you. Your point about bridging to more complex, real-world scenarios is something we take seriously. We're always working to close that gap for learners ready to go deeper. Really appreciate the thoughtful review.

 ### 5. Easy-to-Follow Lessons with AI Help That Keeps Learning Sticking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ismail K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

What I like most about Datacamp is that I can apply what I learn right away before moving on to the next lesson. I also like the AI feature, which helps me a lot when I get stuck. This makes it easier to retain a lot of what I’ve learned before leaving the platform, and the content is very easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

What I dislike about DataCamp is that when I’m trying to submit a project, if I’ve unfortunately opened too many DataCamp tabs, I can’t submit my project until I close all of those tabs. It took me a while to understand what was happening, and I spent a lot of time making changes and deleting parts of my project because I thought the problem was with my solution. That’s what I dislike.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem DataCamp is solving, at least for me, is retaining what you learn in online courses. I’ve spent a lot of time taking online courses, and most of them spend 30 minutes to an hour explaining things before they let you practice. Before you know it, you’re overwhelmed and you forget a lot of what you just learned. DataCamp has helped me a lot because it made me realize that the issue isn’t always me it’s often how those courses are designed and the videos are very short but with a lot of practical exercises.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Really glad the apply-as-you-go approach and AI help are making the content stick, Ismail. The multi-tab project submission issue is a frustrating one -- we'll make sure it gets flagged for the team. Thanks for the detailed feedback!

 ### 6. Easy to Use, Flexible Learning at Your Own Pace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindy J. | Clinical Practice Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

It’s easy to use, and I can learn at my own pace while making my own schedule. Some weeks I’m able to dedicate more time than others, and this flexibility works well for me.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I haven’t found a downside yet, but for learners who want to receive real-time feedback from an instructor, that could be a deterrent. This works best for learners who are self-motivated and learn by doing, since there’s minimal lecture and it’s mainly hands-on.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve always wanted more instruction on Microsoft tools in an office setting. As a professional nurse, my education was focused on nursing, and I didn’t have any technology classes. In the past, I’ve suggested that we offer training on how to work smarter, not harder, and make better use of the tools we already have on hand. Data Camp is allowing me to learn more and explore many technology tools, without having to take college classes in a technology track that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to experience.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> That story is wonderful, Lindy -- a clinical background paired with tech skills is a genuinely powerful combination. Really glad DataCamp is helping you explore tools at your own pace without the overhead of formal classes.

 ### 7. AI Trainer Feels Like a 24/7 Tutor—DataCamp Makes Learning Addictive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sava B. | Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

Honestly, the best thing about DataCamp is how it makes me feel like I'm learning 10 different things at once without getting overwhelmed. I've gained a much broader understanding of data, AI, programming, and many other topics that I probably wouldn't have explored on my own. The AI Trainer is an absolute game changer—it feels like having a personal tutor available 24/7 who never gets tired of my questions. Whenever I'm stuck, it explains concepts in a way that actually clicks. DataCamp has turned what could have been a boring learning experience into something surprisingly addictive. Every course feels like unlocking a new superpower!

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

There isn't much to dislike, but if I had to pick something, some courses can feel a bit too guided, so it's possible to complete exercises without fully understanding the deeper concepts. I also wish there were more advanced real-world projects that combine multiple topics into one practical challenge. Other than that, the learning experience is excellent, and the AI Trainer sets a very high bar that makes me wish every course had even more AI-powered interaction.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp is solving my "I know I should learn this, but where do I even start?" problem. Technology, AI, and digital tools are evolving so quickly that it's easy to fall behind. DataCamp gives me a structured way to learn while keeping everything practical and easy to follow.

The biggest benefit for me is that it has broadened my understanding of many topics that are becoming increasingly important in today's workplace. I can learn at my own pace, explore new areas confidently, and immediately apply what I learn. The AI Trainer feels like having an expert mentor available anytime, which makes learning faster, easier, and honestly much more enjoyable. It has significantly reduced the gap between curiosity and understanding.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> A 24/7 tutor that never gets tired of your questions -- that's exactly what we were going for with the AI Trainer! Your point about more advanced cross-topic projects is a great one, Sava, and something we'd love to build more of.

 ### 8. Modern, High-Performance Courses with Helpful Hints, AI Summaries, and Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prabhat V. | Project Management Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I love how the courses are structured: first the theory is explained, then there’s a practical demonstration before you’re encouraged to have a go yourself. If you get stuck at any point, the hints are really useful for guiding you in the right direction. I love how things like Excel and Power BI are integrated as a web session and the course files are available to download, so users can choose to use their desktop version or used the integrated web session. The performance of the app is excellent, and the UI is sleek and modern. When I lost progress on my account one time, customer support were able to quickly restore it. I also love the AI summaries you get when you get questions wrong, as well as the AI courses they offer and webinars too. I would describe DataCamp as a very 'up to date' company with regards to technology, UI, etc.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Sometimes the web sessions have to reload every now and then, and there could be better and more MCQs, especially for the skill tracks that lead to a certification. I’d also love it if ChatGPT/Claude/Copilot could run as integrated web sessions, because my company has banned them, so I can’t take those courses unless I’m on my personal laptop.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping me build my AI and software skills, which should support me in landing a good graduate role in the future. It’s also helped me learn all the course material I need for the PL-300, which I’m currently revising for.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Such a detailed and thoughtful review, Prabhat -- thank you! Really glad the course structure, AI summaries, and customer support have all been working well. Your point about more MCQs for certification tracks is good feedback, and noted.

 ### 9. Practical, Well-Structured Learning with Hands-On Exercises

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rashaun D. | Financial Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

What I like most about DataCamp is how practical and well-structured the learning experience feels. The courses break down complex topics like Python, SQL, and data analysis into manageable lessons, and the hands-on exercises make it easy to learn by doing rather than just watching videos.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

What I dislike about DataCamp is that some courses feel too beginner-focused and don’t always go deep enough into advanced, real-world applications. The interactive exercises are helpful, but they can sometimes be repetitive or overly guided, which makes it possible to finish lessons without truly mastering the concepts. I’d also like to see more large-scale projects that better simulate real workplace scenarios and encourage deeper, more practical learning.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp helps solve the problem of making technical skills—like data analysis, Python, SQL, and AI—more accessible and easier to learn without needing a formal degree or an expensive bootcamp. For me, it’s valuable because it gives me a structured way to build in-demand skills at my own pace, strengthen my confidence using real tools, and become more valuable in the workplace. It also saves me time by organizing a clear learning path, rather than forcing me to piece everything together from random free resources.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Rashaun! Really glad the practical, hands-on structure is working well for you. Your feedback on depth and larger-scale projects is genuinely appreciated and exactly the kind of input that helps us keep improving. We're continually expanding advanced content, so keep an eye out. Great to have a Financial Analyst with your focus on real-world application learning with us!

 ### 10. Transformative Learning Platform with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ntuthuko N. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I use DataCamp to learn about data and prepare myself for the future as data skills are highly demanded. I appreciate that DataCamp provides solutions and training paths, making it easy to find the learning stream I want to follow. It also offers a practice environment to test what I've learned, which reinforces my knowledge. The layout is very easy to navigate, and the content creators are informative and interactive, making learning fun and easy. The creators are well-rehearsed on the subject matter and help reduce the fear of tackling advanced topics. DataCamp is more recognized than Udemy and easier to navigate. The initial setup was very simple and easy to access, as my company provided us with licenses. I enjoy learning so much that I even want to be on DataCamp during my lunch break at work.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Some of the models come with errors and videos can't be viewed, leaving you to read the transcripts of the video so you can carry on with the course.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp helps me become future fit by offering training paths, a practice environment, and easy navigation, making learning data skills straightforward and enjoyable.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Ntuthuko! It's fantastic that the training paths, practice environment, and interactive creators are helping you get future fit, even earning a spot in your lunch breaks. Sorry about the video playback issues you ran into. That is not the experience we want, and if it happens again our team at support.datacamp.com can look into it right away. Happy learning.

 ### 11. Interactive Labs and Helpful Recaps Make Learning Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raissa F. | People Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I’m leading an effort to build a citizen developer group in our organization, and DataCamp has been instrumental in helping me learn concepts like establishing AI communities and data sustainability. I also started learning Python through DataCamp, and I’ve found the built-in coding labs and practice materials effective because they’re live and interactive. The hints and error explanations are especially helpful for learning as you go. Lastly, if you haven’t logged in for a while, it provides a recap to bring you up to speed, so you don’t have to go back through the entire lesson.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

There’s a lot of content, so it can feel overwhelming during the first few days. A built-in navigation tutorial would be helpful to make it easier to find your way around.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Logging in is simple and quick with enterprise SSO, I have the opportunity to access DataCamp for free under enterprise license, so as for pricing I get all the learning for free.

It helps me stay motivated. The UI includes leaderboards, experience points, and competitions, and those game-like elements make DataCamp genuinely fun to use. DataCamp also offers integration with Microsoft Viva Learning so learning across platforms is possible.

DataCamp also helps me keep track of my lessons. I find the interface, along with the tabs and sidebars, really useful for picking up exactly where I left off. There is also an AI chat agent that supports you when you have questions.

Lastly, the platform runs very smoothly. Unlike some other learning sites I’ve experienced a glitch where they forget where you stopped and force you to restart a lesson from the beginning, I’ve never had that issue with DataCamp.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Raissa! Building a citizen developer group is such meaningful work, and it is wonderful to hear DataCamp is helping you on that journey. Glad the interactive labs, hints, and recap feature are landing well. Your suggestion about a navigation tutorial is a good one we will pass along. Happy learning!

 ### 12. Smooth, Hands-On Learning with Top-Notch AI Help—DataCamp Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

It cuts straight to the chase regarding directed content and gets you involved immediately without sitting back too long for the learning portions. The UI and performance are very smooth and easy to work with. The hands on learning, especially in regards to the built in code compiler as well as the accurate and useful AI help assistant, were top notch and especially useful for a visual learner such as myself. I also enjoy the XP system and the practice modules. Overall I would highly recommend (and actually have) DataCamp to friends and colleagues who want to grow their technical skillset.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I don't necessarily have any issues that come to mind based on my current experience. I feel as though it covered what I needed effectively (introduction to python course is what I've done so far) as I had zero Python experience prior.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp is helping my company introduce users and roles to other "horizontal" skillsets (for myself I work with SQL and Power BI, but we also have a need for more assistance in the area of Python, so that's the course I chose) and quickly allowing us to jump into new concepts and skills. This speed and effectiveness allows us to see if a user may actually be suited to head down additional skillset paths for future projects.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful review. It's great to hear the hands-on coding, the in-browser compiler, and the AI assistant worked so well for you as a visual learner, especially starting Python from zero. We're glad the XP system and practice modules kept you engaged, and we appreciate you recommending DataCamp to friends and colleagues. Wishing you the best as you keep growing your skills.

 ### 13. A Practical and Interactive Learning Environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés S. | Analista de Riesgos de TI Senior, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I like DataCamp for the ease of access to guided material that allows me to learn new skills with practical examples. I enjoy having an environment where I can learn by writing real code and executing it to see real results, which I find more enriching than just watching videos. Additionally, I found that the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

It would be interesting if, as a learning method, more complex development projects were requested for practice developing on the platform.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp provides me with access to guided material to learn new skills with practical examples. I like being able to learn by writing and executing real code to see results, which is more enriching than just watching videos.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Andrés! It's great that writing and running real code, rather than just watching videos, is making your learning feel richer. Your idea about adding more complex, project based practice is a good one, and it is exactly the kind of feedback that helps shape what we build next. Enjoy the coding, and thanks for learning with DataCamp.

 ### 14. Exceptional Learning Platform with Friendly Instructors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thành An P. | Summer Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I use DataCamp for learning and to level up my skills for my job. I like the knowledgeable content because it covers everything I need, and the exercises help me a lot. The scripts and videos are really useful, especially because my English isn't very good; watching the video can be fast, so seeing the script helps me understand. I appreciate the friendly teachers who explain concepts clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. The initial setup was very easy, and I was able to start learning within a few minutes. Overall, the user experience is excellent, and I would definitely recommend it, giving it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I'd like to see more practical projects and more personalized learning paths. Sometimes the lessons feel a bit repetitive.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DataCamp to enhance my job skills with clear, practical content and friendly instructors. The script option helps me overcome English language challenges, making learning more accessible.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Thành An. It's wonderful to hear the content, exercises, and friendly instructors are helping you build job skills, and that the video scripts make the lessons easier to follow. We appreciate your note about wanting more practical projects and personalized paths, that kind of feedback is really useful as we keep improving. Wishing you the best with your learning.

 ### 15. Datacamp: Bite-Sized Courses and Clear Tracks for Effortless Upskilling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I particularly like that Datacamp has courses for people at all levels on broad and important topics like data quality and Co-Pilot, to courses for specific roles such as Google analytics and AWS. The tracks have been particularly good for me, it takes the guesswork and research out of upskilling myself. If I want to get an understanding of a particular program or software Datacamp is my first port of call. I also love that everything is bitesized, you can do as much or as little as you like, so it's easy to do every day.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I think some of the practices could have a greater variety of questions. I like to review topics but often I find that the practice on a particular subject is one I've done before. Maybe you could have a bank of questions which are pulled in randomly each time.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By giving me hands-on practical learning I feel that I have a more indepth knowledge of a software or program which I can use in my day to day. For example prompt engineering, and understanding how Co-Pilot can be used with Office has given me a lot of confidence in using AI efficiently. This has really saved me time with report writing and analysing research interviews.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for the detailed review. It's great that the tracks take the guesswork out of upskilling and that the bite-sized format fits easily into your day, across everything from data quality to AWS. Your idea about a larger, randomized bank of practice questions is a thoughtful one, and we'll share it with our team. We're glad DataCamp is your first port of call, and thanks for learning with us.

 ### 16. Friendly Environment and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Orlando M. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

The practice environment in DataCamp is generally user-friendly and saves me time and effort because it already comes with a harness or starter code template where I can write the code I need to practice. It has also provided me with very prompt support when I have needed it, and it is pleasant to find that the DataCamp staff cares about my experience as a user of the platform. Additionally, it is very easy to set up from my perspective as a user, which is also a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Well, I've noticed that after a certain time, the platform invites you to practice the knowledge acquired again, but sometimes I don't have the time and/or interest to practice again... maybe it's just me.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp keeps me updated with knowledge applicable to my job. The practice environment is user-friendly, saving me time and effort, and the customer support is excellent.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Orlando! It's great to hear the practice environment and support team have made a positive impression. The starter code templates are designed exactly to save you time, so we're glad that's landing well. Your feedback about the review prompts is noted too. Happy learning!

 ### 17. Hands-On Learning with Instant Feedback - DataCamp Builds Real Skills Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Tobacco | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

What I like most about DataCamp is that it is very hands-on and practical, so you can build real data skills quite fast. Instead of long theory lessons, you directly write code in the browser and get instant feedback. This helps a lot to understand faster and remember better.

One of the most useful things is the built-in coding environment. You don’t need to install anything or prepare data. You can start practicing SQL, Python or analysis immediately. This really saves time and makes the learning smoother.

I also like the career and skill tracks. They give clear direction, so you don’t waste time thinking what to learn next. It is very helpful to follow a structured path step by step.

The platform is also very easy to use. The UI is clean and simple, and lessons are short with exercises after. This makes it easier to learn even when you have a busy schedule.

Another good point is the real projects and workspace (DataLab). You can practice with more realistic cases, similar to real work. This helps to connect theory with real use cases and be more ready for the job.
In terms of value, DataCamp gives good ROI because you get many courses (data, analytics, AI) for a reasonable price. Also, the AI features like explanations and help to fix errors make learning easier and faster.

For integrations, it supports tools like Slack, Teams, LMS, and SSO, so it is easy to use in a company environment and connect learning with daily work.

Performance is also very good. It is fully browser-based, so it is fast and stable, and you don’t lose time with setup or technical issues.

About onboarding and support, it is very quick to start. The platform guides you step by step, gives recommendations, and feedback is included in the exercises. Because of this, you can learn by yourself without needing a lot of external help.

Overall, DataCamp is very strong because it combines easy usage, practical learning, and clear structure, so you can learn skills that you can apply directly in your daily work.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

What I don’t like so much about DataCamp is that sometimes the content can feel a bit too basic or not deep enough, especially for more advanced topics. It is very good for learning fundamentals, but when you want to go deeper, it can feel a bit limited.

Also, many exercises are very guided, so you follow instructions step by step. This is good at the beginning, but sometimes it feels like you are not thinking a lot by yourself. It would be better to have more open practice.

Another point is that the projects could be more realistic or complex. They are useful, but sometimes still a bit simple compared to real work scenarios.

Regarding content, even if there are many courses, the platform is quite focused only on data topics, so it is not ideal if you want to learn other areas like software engineering or broader IT topics.

From a pricing perspective, the subscription model can feel expensive if you are not using the platform regularly. Also, a big part of the content is behind paywall, so the free version is quite limited.

Another downside is that sometimes it is not very clear which course to take next, especially if you don’t follow a track. This can be a bit confusing for new users.

Finally, the certificates are useful but not enough alone to get a job. You still need real projects or experience outside the platform.

Overall, DataCamp is very good to start and practice, but it is not enough by itself for advanced level, so you usually need to complement it with other resources.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp is mainly solving the problem of how to learn data skills in a practical and efficient way, without spending too much time on setup or only theory.

In my case, one big problem it solves is that usually learning data topics (like SQL or Python) takes a lot of time to install tools, prepare data, and understand where to start. With DataCamp, everything is already prepared in the browser, so I can focus only on learning and practicing. This helps me save time and be more productive.

Another problem it solves is the gap between theory and real work. Many platforms are very theoretical, but DataCamp makes you practice immediately. This benefits me because I can apply what I learn directly in my daily work, for example improving queries or structuring analysis better.

It also solves the issue of not knowing what to learn next. The career tracks give a clear path, so I don’t waste time searching or guessing. This helps me stay more focused and consistent.

Another benefit is around continuous learning. Since the lessons are short and easy to follow, I can learn in small sessions even during busy days. This makes it easier to build a habit and progress little by little.
Finally, it helps with keeping skills up to date, especially in areas like analytics and AI. Instead of searching in many different sources, I can find structured and practical content in one place.

Overall, DataCamp helps me learn faster, practice more, and apply skills directly in my work, which makes it very valuable for my role as a data analyst.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Really appreciate how thoroughly you've mapped out what's working and where we can push further. Your points about deeper advanced content and more open-ended practice are exactly the kind of feedback the product team values -- noted. Glad DataCamp is helping you build practical skills day to day.

I use DataCamp to learn AI and programming techniques. I enjoy the lab-like environment where I can practice assessments by doing, instead of just working on theory. It gives me in-depth knowledge of AI topics, from ethics to application in my work environment. Setting up DataCamp was very easy, and I would rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending to a friend or colleague.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

The ranking system could be better because if you join later than others, catching up is practically impossible.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DataCamp to learn AI and programming techniques, gaining in-depth knowledge of AI topics from ethics to application at work. Its lab-like environment lets me practice in real time and get assessed on actual work done, moving beyond just theory.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Henry! It's great that the hands on, lab style environment is giving you real AI and programming practice, from ethics through to application, rather than just theory. Your point about the ranking system being hard to catch up on when you join late is useful feedback, and I will make sure it reaches the team. Thanks for the 10 out of 10 and for learning with DataCamp.

 ### 19. Hands-On Learning with Real-World Applications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek K. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I mainly use DataCamp to sharpen my data skills in a structured and practical way. It’s especially helpful for hands-on learning — instead of just watching videos, I actually write code while learning, which makes concepts stick better. I’ve used it for improving my Python and SQL skills, brushing up on data visualization, and understanding topics like machine learning and statistics in a simple, step-by-step format. The bite-sized lessons are great when I don’t have long hours to study but still want to stay consistent. What I like most is that it feels practical and career-focused. The projects and skill tracks make it easy to connect learning with real-world use cases. The biggest plus for me is the hands-on learning approach. You’re not just watching videos — you’re actually coding from the first lesson. That instant practice makes a huge difference in understanding and retention. I also really like the clear learning paths. Instead of randomly jumping between topics, I can follow a proper track (like Python, SQL, or Data Analyst path) and feel confident that I’m progressing logically. Another thing I appreciate is the short, bite-sized lessons. As a working professional, I don’t always get long study hours. The small modules make it easy to stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it feels career-focused, practical, and beginner-friendly — which is exactly what I need while upgrading my data skills.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

The exercises sometimes feel too guided, making me feel like I'm just filling in blanks rather than solving problems independently. I would appreciate more fully open-ended challenges to deepen learning. The real-world project depth could be improved; I would love to see more complex, end-to-end case studies that mimic actual business scenarios, especially in analytics and reporting. Since everything runs in their browser environment, I miss practicing in a real local setup like working in VS Code or handling messy data from scratch. Pricing can feel slightly on the higher side compared to some alternatives, especially for learners who are just starting out.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp gives me structured learning paths, minimizes passive learning, and offers hands-on coding directly on the platform. It keeps learning consistent with short lessons and bridges theory with practice, making it a career-focused and practical tool for upgrading data skills.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review. It’s great to hear that the hands on approach, structured skill tracks, and bite sized lessons fit well into your schedule as a working professional. Helping learners connect theory to real career use cases is exactly what we aim for at DataCamp.

We also truly appreciate your constructive feedback. Wanting more open ended challenges, deeper end to end case studies, and opportunities to work with messier, real world data makes a lot of sense. That kind of practice is important for building confidence beyond guided exercises, and it’s feedback we take seriously as we continue evolving our content.

Thanks again for sharing your experience so clearly. We’re glad DataCamp is supporting your growth, and we hope to keep earning your trust as you advance your data skills.

 ### 24. Beginner-Friendly Lessons That Make Learning AI Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

What I like best is how beginner-friendly the platform is. It breaks down complex concepts into simple, clear lessons and interactive exercises that build confidence step by step. Even if you’re new to data or tech, the courses make it easy to understand and stay motivated.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

So far, I really like DataCamp. It’s easy to get started and beginner friendly. One area I think could be improved is the video speed. The lessons feel a bit slow at the default pace, so I usually set them to 1.25x to keep things more engaging and efficient.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp is helping me bridge the gap between curiosity and practical knowledge in AI. Before starting, I only knew a little about artificial intelligence, but the platform broke down the concepts into clear, beginner-friendly lessons. It showed me what AI is, the kinds of tasks it can solve, and how organizations can harness it responsibly.

The biggest benefit is that it makes complex topics approachable—I can now see the possibilities of AI in real-world settings and understand both the technical and human side of it. DataCamp is solving the problem of accessibility to AI education by giving me the confidence to learn at my own pace and apply these ideas in meaningful ways.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

 ### 25. Effective Learning, Minor Interface Tweaks Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiren S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I like using DataCamp for honing my SQL skills, especially at the intermediate level, and gaining the ability to optimize my SQL queries. I also appreciate the platform for offering an actual learning environment where the AI assistant stands out as quite good at teaching me step by step. It helps me by correcting small errors and showing me best practices. Mostly, I enjoy the feedback I'm getting from the training provided by the AI assistant.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I think the interface of DataCamp could do with a bit of an overhaul, and that's only about the actual main website. It's just a little bit tricky when you're trying to start a course because you forget that the actual launch course button is right at the top rather than at the bottom where I would think it would be near each of the modules. The initial setup was actually quite complicated because I received a joining email which kept giving me errors. Then I registered separately without the joining email, and my manager had trouble adding me to our group, and she had to get tech support involved.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp provides a great learning platform, with an AI assistant that teaches me step-by-step, corrects small errors, and shows me best practices.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

 ### 30. Flexible Learning with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh M. | Manager, Sourcing Analytics - Commodities and Logistics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I use DataCamp for upskilling and making myself more valuable in my job. I find it easy to use and love that I can start and stop if I get interrupted and return where I left off. The snippet format for video lessons is particularly appealing because I don’t need to set aside an hour or more during my day to commit to training. I can log in between meetings or projects and pick up where I left off. The initial setup was very easy for me. I have already recommended it to several coworkers.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I don't like having to spend XP to get hints on tests. Also, I don't like getting so many emails when I don't have time to log in. Several of my coworkers had issues with finding the SSO sign on. They set up accounts under their work email which did not connect with our enterprise license. They ended up having to delete their accounts and lose all their progress when logging back in properly with SSO.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp is easy to use and lets me pick up where I left off. I don't need to block off long hours for learning due to its snippet format, making it perfect for my schedule.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

 ### 32. Hands-On Learning Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Morena . | Business Intelligence Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I really appreciate DataCamp’s interactive learning approach. The platform combines short, focused lessons with hands-on exercises, which makes it easy to immediately apply what I learn. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the ability to practice coding directly in the browser without setting up environments saves a lot of time. I also like the wide range of courses and learning tracks, especially for SQL and Power BI, which are exactly what I need to strengthen my technical skills.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

While DataCamp is a great platform overall, one limitation is that some courses feel a bit too basic or repetitive once you reach an intermediate level. For example, advanced topics in SQL or Power BI could go deeper into real-world scenarios and complex use cases. Additionally, the exercises are mostly done in a controlled environment, so you don’t always get the experience of working with large, messy datasets like in real projects. Lastly, the subscription model can feel expensive if you only need a few specialized courses.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp helps me bridge the gap between theory and practical application. Before using it, I struggled to find structured resources for improving my SQL and Power BI skills in a way that fits into a busy schedule. Your perspective as a BI Developer helps us improve, so thank you again for sharing it so clearly. Wishing you continued success on your learning journey.

 ### 33. DataCamp Makes It Easy to Go from Zero to One in New ML Techniques

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

DataCamp covers a broad range of techniques related to data science, deep learning, software engineering, data engineering, MLOps, and AI/LLM. It also provides a variety of different learning formats, such as real-world projects and hands-on practice.

As an ML architect, my work spans a wide range of tasks, from predictive model development and deployment to our production ML infrastructure. I need to choose the right tech stack, integrate techniques, demo the technique and platform, and educate the team. DataCamp is a very good platform for quickly picking up a new technique from zero to one, and it helps me complete prototypes within a reasonable timeframe. The interactive practice lets me not only learn the theory, but also connect the code to the concepts quickly, so I can apply the technique efficiently.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I don’t have any specific dislikes about DataCamp. Learning and applying a new technology is really a combination of different experiences at different stages. I use DataCamp as a good way to start learning something new, and then I further polish and improve my skills through real-world projects at work. I also find that reading books on popular techniques is critical for building a deeper understanding. Once you establish the backbone of a technique, you can enrich your experience and refine your solutions and understanding by reading technical posts as well. Overall, it’s a multi-step process, and I think DataCamp serves its role in that process pretty well.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using DataCamp two years ago, and it has helped me polish and improve many techniques through detailed explanations and hands-on practice. I began with very basic topics such as data manipulation in pandas, then moved on to classic machine learning with sklearn, deep learning with pytorch for computer vision, and also areas like LLM, RL, and NLP. Along the way, I strengthened my Python software engineering skills as well, including packaging and pytest, and improved my data engineering skills such as spark, airflow, etc.

It has also helped me transfer what I learned so I can educate my team more effectively.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for such a detailed and insightful review! It's really great to hear how DataCamp fits into your workflow as an ML architect, helping you quickly go from zero to one on new techniques and build prototypes efficiently.

We also appreciate your thoughtful perspective on how DataCamp plays a role within a broader learning process alongside real-world projects, books, and technical reading. That's a really healthy and effective approach to continuous learning.

Knowing that the platform has supported you across such a wide range of topics, from pandas and sklearn all the way to LLMs, RL, and data engineering, and that it's helped you educate your team too, is truly wonderful to hear. Thank you for being part of the DataCamp community!

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I really like the ease of use that DataCamp provides. The application is very easy to navigate, and it's simple to find where I left off previously. I also appreciate how it helps me keep track of where I stand with the remaining classes for my training. The structure of the videos followed by questions is excellent. Watching a three to four-minute video and then answering three questions on what we just learned is a really effective way to instruct and test for understanding. Setting up DataCamp was very easy, and I would highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

I don't have anything at this time.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DataCamp for work training. It provides an overview and introduction to AI concepts, is very easy to navigate, and helps track my progress with a structured format of short videos followed by questions to ensure understanding.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for such a thorough and generous review! We're really glad that the platform feels easy to navigate and that the short video and question format is helping you learn effectively. That rhythm of watch, practice, and check your understanding is a great way to build confidence in new concepts.

I think it covers topics very comprehendively in a manner that allows me to go at my own pace. I like the videos and reinforcement quiz and activities at the end of it.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Keeping up with the terminologies are tough. If possible provide a running cheat sheet of the new teminologies learned. Its a lot of jargon for a first-timer

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me get a better understanding of how AI works (and other topics). The awareness helps me consider how I can implement and use what I've learned effectively

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I think DataCamp is a fantastic tool, especially for upskilling around AI and Copilot among other systems. I really enjoy the interactive nature of the courses. It's really intuitive and very easy to use. The courses ensure that our learning sticks, unlike dry non-interactive courses. I like that it's great to practice in a live environment. The setup is very easy, and the breadth and choice of course options available are much better compared to our previous internal training.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Some of the simulations run a little slower than I would like. However, I understand that this is the downside of a live model.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataCamp upskills me in areas I'm unfamiliar with, like applying AI in my job. It's intuitive and interactive, making learning stick more than dry courses.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Heather! Really glad DataCamp is helping you get comfortable with AI and Copilot at work. It is great to hear the interactive, live environment is making learning stick better than traditional formats. Appreciate the feedback on simulation speed - totally understand that trade-off!

Structured courses around specific subjects. It makes sure everything important is included within the course.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you, Yago! It's great to hear the clear structure and organization are working well for you. Your note about the early exercises feeling a bit basic is useful too, and we keep refining the pacing so the ramp up stays engaging. Thanks for learning with DataCamp.

The courses start from the very basics, making them especially accessible for those who are new to the field. I really appreciate that hands-on exercises are included right after each topic, as this was exactly what I was looking for. This approach makes learning both easy and interactive. The extra resources provided, such as cheat sheets and links to further reading materials, also add significant value to the overall learning experience.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

There isn’t anything in particular that I dislike about this platform. However, I would appreciate it if there were multiple sets of mock exams available for those preparing for the certification.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a virtual machine setup, which is particularly useful for learners who lack the required tools on their own computers. This makes the learning process more accessible for those without the necessary software.

 ### 44. Effortless Learning with Immediate Real-World Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew F. | Investment Analyst

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I like how the learning curve isn't that steep, as each lesson concentrates on one new thing. It's also very easy — all I have to do is go into the browser, and I can use it whenever I want. It's very easy to fit around my working day.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

One benefit would be a clearer sense of which courses are equivalent. For example, I want to go through the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Python courses. I could take the general courses or the versions for Finance, but I don't know what I'd be missing out on if I did. It might be valuable if it had some equivalent courses, so that after doing one the others are greyed out as you will have already learned what's necessary in them.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DataCamp to improve my programming skills, making it easier to pull data from Snowflake and build apps to streamline my workflow. It helps me build skills to access data quickly and create apps for tasks like reviewing portfolios and valuing stocks.

**Official Response from Support Team:**

> Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re so glad to hear that DataCamp is helping you learn in a way that fits your schedule and workflow. It’s great to know the practical structure and browser-based access are making a difference.

And thank you as well for your feedback about course equivalency, that’s a very insightful point. We’re actively working to improve how learning paths are communicated, and suggestions like yours help guide that work. Being able to clearly compare course content across tracks would definitely add value, and I’ve shared your idea with the team.

Wishing you continued success as you build your skills!

The videos are short and easy to understand even for a beginner level. The practice at the end of each video is very helpful to understand what exactly you have learned and to be able to use it in you day to day works.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

Maybe sometimes it's hard for me to find what I need in the menu. Would like more client friendly organization of the platform.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Developing Python knowledge of our teams is the main goal, but in addition there are very helpful AI courses.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benji B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about DataCamp?**

I like how easy it is to navigate DataCamp and the examples they use in the trainings. It's super intuitive to work with, you don't struggle with what they ask, and you can learn the more you navigate the site. Also, the initial setup was very easy; if I were to rank it, it would be an 8 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about DataCamp?**

To improve, honestly it's very good, but maybe other colors during exams. I mean something that isn't as empty as white, but also not so flashy that it distracts you from everything else.

**What problems is DataCamp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DataCamp to search for concepts and better explain problem-solving. It is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing me to learn while I explore.

**Official Response from Support Team:**
