## Dapple Reviews
  ### 1. It made managing feedback really easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aashrun G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

We started using it to collect feedback, but it quickly became much more than “just a form.” The ability to turn incoming feedback into structured feature requests, move them through clear stages that mirror our product roadmap, and keep users informed automatically has been a game-changer.
The inbuilt messaging means conversations stay connected to the feedback itself (no more hunting through inboxes), and the automations help us close the loop with users without adding extra manual work. People feel heard, we stay organised, and nothing slips through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

Nothing really. It’s designed for those managing submissions in the creative industry which is a little bit different to what we do a tech company but it works for us.

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Dapple, product feedback lived in too many places at once — emails, DMs, notes, and half-remembered conversations. Things slipped through the cracks, and following up with users was harder than it should’ve been.
Dapple solves that by giving us a single, structured home for feedback. Everything comes in through clear forms, turns into actionable requests, and moves through stages that reflect our actual product roadmap. That structure alone has brought a lot more clarity to what we’re building and why.
The real benefit, though, is in the follow-through. Built-in messaging keeps conversations tied directly to each piece of feedback, and automations let us update users as their requests progress without creating extra work for the team. Users feel listened to, we stay focused, and decisions are easier to make because the signal is no longer buried in noise.
In short, Dapple helps us turn raw feedback into momentum — and that’s had a direct impact on how confidently and transparently we build our product.

  ### 2. A Stress-Free Way to Run Creative Contests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

We actually use Dapple in a different/creative way to collect CVs even when we’re not actively hiring, and that alone has been a game-changer for us. Instead of starting from scratch every time a role opens up (or paying eye-watering recruiter fees), we’re steadily building a high-quality database of potential candidates in the background.

CVs come in on an ongoing basis and are neatly organised by role department using the Project feature. From there, we can tag candidates, add internal scores, and manage everything through a clear Kanban-style board. It makes it incredibly easy to see who’s interesting and where they sit in the process.

The customer support is also really good.

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

Dapple isn’t a “recruiting” tool and so it doesn’t post on any job boards etc. That sometimes comes in the way of distribution

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Dapple solves for us is the stop–start nature of hiring. Normally, you only collect CVs when a role is open, which means rushing, relying on recruiters, and paying significant fees. With Dapple, we can collect applications continuously, even when we’re not actively hiring, and quietly build a strong talent pool over time.
This has a huge practical benefit. Instead of scrambling when a role opens up, we already have a database of relevant candidates to reach out to. Everything is organised by job title, tagged, scored, and easy to review, so we’re not digging through old emails or losing great people in an inbox.

Dapple also replaces messy, manual workflows with a clear process. The Kanban board, custom stages, and automations mean we can track candidates properly and move them through a structured pipeline that actually reflects how we hire. It’s more deliberate, more transparent, and far more efficient.
Overall, it’s helped us reduce reliance on recruiters, save money, and make hiring feel calmer and more intentional — rather than reactive and chaotic.

  ### 3. A stress-free way to run creative open calls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily . | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

I like how effortlessly it pulls the entire submission process together, cutting out unnecessary jumping from place to place. Collecting the entries, sharing them with the team and then reviewing and gathering feedback all happens in the one workflow. Even setting up payments is without faff, so I can focus on the creative parts that I’m truly interested in.

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

If there’s anything to nitpick, it’s that once I’d sent the submissions out the the team to review there wasn’t an automated way to chase them up but apparently this is coming in a future update.

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dapple cuts out the messy, time consuming parts of running an open call. Previously we’ve been using email and shared drives, excel sheets and slack threads etc and now everything is in one place. Designers submit their work cleanly, the team reviews it without chasing around for files, and decisions get made faster because the whole process is structured.
The feedback we’ve had from our entrants was that it was a lot easier this time around as well, the customised form gathered all the info we needed at the start and the payments worked smoothly.

  ### 4. An exceptional platform without the prohibitive price tag

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Co-Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

The intuitive interface and tools make reviewing hundreds of submissions simple, while the many personalisations let us keep the human connection that is crucial to independent publishing. Customer support is exceptional too: if we ever have a slight tech issue, Oz and the team are extremely responsive, providing patient and clear explanations.

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

If anything, there could be too many features and, with more being added on an ongoing basis, there is a risk that the platform could become overcomplicated, though this is certainly not the case yet.

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dapple is the ideal solution for editors of independent literary magazines who cannot afford (or do not want to support) most submissions platforms. It is a superior submissions manager, which boasts a huge array of features and automations and delivers exceptional user experience for editors and writers - but without the prohibitive price tag of other platforms.

  ### 5. Everything we need in a single dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla K. | Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

Professional design templates, ability to accept different file types, ability to accept different forms of payment, smooth process of creating judging panels, easy to learn, intuitive, incredible customer service, responsive team, having all my questions answered in a timely manner

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dapple is well designed, easy to learn, and incredibly comprehensive. It is helping us manage submissions, review applicants, and make informed final decisions. Every feature needed to run our contest was handled perfectly by Dapple. The platform has helped us streamline our process of collecting entries, getting through multiple judging rounds, and selecting final winners.

  ### 6. Dapple: a game-changer for the publishing world!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Dapple?**

Dapple is so clearly designed with literary publications in mind, which is so refreshing, because more mainstream platforms like Google Forms and Submittable often lack the features that publishers need. With automations, assigning, stage changing, email sending from one place, team functionality, and so much more, Dapple has truly revolutionized our workflow. Not to mention, they have a top-notch support team!

**What do you dislike about Dapple?**

Very little! When there is a flaw, their support team is readily available to help out, debug, resolve a problem, or even add a new feature.

**What problems is Dapple solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Submission demand to submitter messaging pipeline and team/multi-user workflow. It has cut down our work times by hours.
