Over the years, I have tried many options, including iView Media Pro, ACDSee, Lightroom, PhoTools, Phase One, and Media Pro. I really like how Daminion is convenient for cataloging my personal archive of photos and videos. I have more than 25,000 files, and nowhere else have I found so many convenient features for attaching custom tags and using ready-made association templates. I also appreciate the functional interface without excess. It's very useful to have a floating window of recently attached tags, convenient switching between content display views, and a well-thought-out properties window. I still haven't figured out the backup process. When I press the button, it somehow redirects to the Daminion Articles website (I'm using version 6.7.0). Version Control term is already used in Daminion for the management of file revisions. Edited versions of the same file. We are going to add the "Variants" option so you can combine RAW + JPEGs or different variants (versions) of the same asset (logotype, ad banner, etc.).
