Other photo organizing programs make you sit through some serious lag time when you tag one or more photos. Daminion doesn't. The stars pretty much pop right up! Creating tags is easy, and they can be copied from catalog to catalog. There's some autofilling with tags that also speeds things up. Not really neccessary - but if anything, some basic picture improvement features would be nice. Daminion gives me a fine nuanced possibility to build a digital Archive for my DSLM-Images. Tag-trees can be arranged and created just to my needs. GPS-tagging is made easy by the integrated Google-Map. With the fine Details of filtering and the usage of flags it's only up to me to get the correct structure even with thousands of files.
