"Great Task Automation, but Payment Recording Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

I like the automation, how tasks are assigned to the appropriate user base on the category. I also love the updates, every time there is one is more efficient. I also like that you have control on how you want your tasks to be set up and is very easy to use and learn. Customer Support is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about daisyBill?

I don't like that daisyBill records a payment of a specific amount base on what the insurance approved. But daisyBill does not recognize that the actual payment is of a different amount. So it creates a extra task. Of course I know is not 100 daisyBill issue is more of the insurance, but it will be nice if it will recognize those things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Near to perfect portal, amazing onboarding and customer service"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

Their portal is seriously almost perfect. I am a SaaS snob and cannot find a fault here. Their onboarding is unbelievably good with hand holding to the tune of multipe shared screen video calls, always ending with "when should we schedule the next one". Super responsive to emails. Super easy integrations and open api's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about daisyBill?

seriously nothing. i know I risk sounding like a fake reviewer at this juncture but I cnanot find a fault here Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Billing - DaisyBill"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

DaisyBill connects Planning and Investment teams at my agency seamlessly. Both teams can check the billing process at any time, from initial estimate creation to month-to-month billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about daisyBill?

I dislike the initial user interface when using Print Toolkit to create a new estimate. While it does not prevent me from using it, the UI is outdated at this step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing for Workers Compensation"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

DaisyBill’s web based WC wizard is the best way to handle CA Workers Compensation claims. The best part about the wizard is it’s ability to accurately calculate true reimbursement for WC claims in California. Any providers who have seen patients with work related injuries knows just how complex the reimbursement methodology in CA truly is. Which makes it so unique is that it’s able to quickly switch from different types of providers and calculate expected payment down to the penny, for example you can calculate ASC, DME, PRO, Hospital, and even Pharmacy claims. The best part of the wizard is how it provides a summary of how it apples the CA payment methodology as a “receipt” if you will which we frequently use in our appeals when fighting for additional payment with carriers. What do you dislike about daisyBill?

There is nothing that comes to mind that the DaisyBill team hasn’t already thought of. You can tell that they have a lot of experience in billing and collecting WC claims and have included features that every provider and their billing team need to get paid correctly. The only thing I wish was different was that they covered every single state in their wizard. At this time it only covers California, but they are quickly expanding to other states. "A Better Way to Handle Workers Compensation Claims"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

DiasyBill offers one of the most robust reimbursement calculators for Workers Compensation claims based out of California. They call it their "Wizard"; the best part it its ability to calculate reimbursement for multiple provider types such as Professional, Facility/Outpatient, DME, & Anesthesia claims. The Wizard is extremely straightforward and easy to us, but they do offer a nice training webinar for new users that provides a thorough overview of the program. My favorite part of the Wizard is the "Reimbursement Receipt" it populates after calculating expected reimbursement based on your specific county in California, it shows all the minuet details and factors that go into calculating CA WC reimbursement such as relative weight and the conversion factors set by the Department of Workers Compensation in CA. They go one step further, allowing users to print off and use the reimbursement calculation summary for the utilization and inclusion in payer appeals for low reimbursement. Their customer service team is top-notch; they are ready to answer any questions you have about their software and if they cannot answer it or do not support or offer the feature you're looking for, they are always open to feedback on ways to make their software even better. What do you dislike about daisyBill?

The team at DaisyBill truly has gone the extra mile with their Wizard; they have thought of everything providers could potentially need during the process of collecting reimbursement on the backend for medical claims. The only downfall right now is that their Reimbursement Wizard is only supporting the state of California, but if you know California Workers Compensation, than you should know that it is the most difficult state by far in terms of guidelines and requirements for claim submission, processing, and payment. "Workers Compensation Experts"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

There are so many things that DaisyBill does right, but where they really hit it out of the park is with their web-based billing system for managing workers compensation claims. The layout of their system is extremely simple, but effective...you have access to everything you need to manage your claims along the top at all times. The best part of their system by far is their clearinghouse software that makes the electronic submission of WC claims as easy as 1-2-3. I really love how their system tracks each submission every step of the way until it arrives at the payer, at which time you get a reference number of payer receipt which can be used when those payer reps and adjusters try to tell you they don't have your claims on file. Their wizard is absolutely amazing too, if you are in California then you know how convoluted Workers Compensation billing and reimbursement is, well their Wizard makes it so anyone can calculate expected reimbursement per the most recent guidelines. What I really appreciate is the fact that they provide you with a summary of how they calculated the expected reimbursement for every claim which can be utilized in payer appeals to ensure you get additional payment if your claims are underpaid. Their software allows the electronic tracking and submission of attachments along with claims, which is a huge service that most other clearinghouses are surprisingly struggling with at this time. What do you dislike about daisyBill?

DaisyBill has everything you always wish you had to manage workers compensation claims effectively; there is nothing I don't absolutely love about their software. They started out in California, which is by far the most difficult state in terms of Workers Compensation laws and guidelines, but they are quickly growing and expanding into other states. The only downfall is that they don't support every state yet, but they are growing rapidly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workers Compensation made Easy"
What do you like best about daisyBill?

I don't even know where to start with Daisy Bill. The company originated out of California with the mission of assisting healthcare providers with navigating through the maze that is California Workers Compensation. They offer a web-based billing system for managing workers compensation claims which is absolutely packed with amazing features that even high end billing systems and clearing houses are not currently offering. The best parts of Daisy Bill by far are their Billing Wizard and their built in clearinghouse for managing submission and reimbursement of medical claims. If you know anything about workers compensation across the country, then you will know that California has the most detailed and difficult reimbursement/billing guidelines. Their Billing Wizard contains a plethora of tools such as a reimbursement calculator by county that not only calculates your expected reimbursement on claims, but provides you with an extremely detailed summary of how they arrived at the expected payments based on the California methodology; you can literally print off the summary and include it in an appeal or reconsideration for low payment and send to the payers with the confidence that you will be able to capture any missed revenue. The wizard also calculates reimbursement for several provider types, such as Outpatient Facility/ASC, Professional, and Hospital. The interface of the wizard is extremely easy to use and can be picked up very quickly, which brings me to my next point. Their customer support is out of this world, they offered us a wide variety of training during implementation that allowed us to ensure we were using their software to maximize our efficiency. Another great part of the wizard is that is houses a large database of all WC payers in CA so I never have to go searching online for phone numbers, mailing addresses (claims/appeals), and much more. Their billing system also contains their own built in proprietary clearinghouse that puts other companies in the CH business, like Zirmed, Japari, Waystar, & Emdeon just to name a few, to shame in the Work Comp arena by offering direct lines of access and communication with the 5 main CHs in CA. I absolutely love how we can rely on their software to ensure our claims our going out the door electronically and being tracked the whole way through until payer receipt, which by the way every submission is accompanied by a reference number for payer acceptance so when those tricky payers try to tell you they don't have your claim on file you simply refer to your reference number and can be confident that they will locate it. This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what DaisyBill can do and they are working on expanding throughout the country to more and more states. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about daisyBill?

There is nothing I can think of that comes to mind that DaisyBill has not already thought of and implemented to making the management and billing of Workers Comp claims extremely easy and reliable. The only problem we have run into with them is that not all providers will need to utilize their web-based billing system and there are providers who simply need the access to their clearing house technology since many times providers, especially outpatient facilities have their own internal revenue cycle management software.
