It is free, user-friendly, and has a lot of assets available, including materials and models. It improved my workflow as a student and as a professional. Scaling the objects and the drag-and-drop models saved me a lot of time. What I also really love is that D5 has updates that are very interesting, like the ocean feature, the terrain, and many more. Excited and still looking forward to what D5 has in store. **What do you dislike about D5 Render?** I had a low-spec laptop before. I really wanted to install D5 because it is free, but it is only limited to higher specs, that's the reason why I can't download it. Luckily I upgraded, and I already have it. The real-time workflow feels genuinely fluid, with lighting, reflections, and materials updating instantly as I work. Compared to more traditional pipelines, I spend far less time waiting on renders and much more time actually designing and iterating. The asset library is solid and well curated, which is a big help when I need to populate a scene quickly without sacrificing visual consistency. On top of that, the learning curve is surprisingly gentle for a tool that can produce this level of output. And setting it up was super easy. I have used the sync with Revit and it works very well. This connection plus the price of the monthly subscription is what makes me choose D5 over other render engines.
