They were extremely thorough and walked us through every result, one by one, answering any questions we had, explaining it to clearly to the developer and non-developer alike. They helped us focus on priority issues with their detailed reporting on urgency, severity, etc. True professionals that won't leave you until you are clear on any vulnerabilities you have and how to address them properly. **What do you dislike about Cybri?** There was no downsides whatsoever! They were brilliant on every step. **Recommendations to others considering Cybri:** If you're a founder or executive who isn't quite sure of penetration testing, how much you'll understand, etc, Cybri is your group. If you're highly technical and need the most advanced penetration testing around, Cybri is your group. They find every possible vulnerability imaginable and some you wouldn't imagine and then walk you through them one by one over zoom along with a very detailed report, including code base snippets of exactly where vulnerabilities or even just poor security practices may exist. They patiently explain each one from an executive point of view down to the most in depth developer point of view. An incredible experience that leaves you clear with a prioritized plan of action on exactly what to work on. **What problems is Cybri solving and how is that benefiting you?** Checking to see how secure our web application is. As we've built and built with a team of developers, things evolve, including possible attack scenarios. ### 2. They were able to identify vulnerabilities in an older web application that hasn’t been updated in years and had already been reviewed by numerous other penetration testing companies and scan tools. I also appreciate that they are a US-based company with US-based penetration testers. In the past, we’ve had offshore penetration testers from other companies, which was inconvenient because it required multiple IPs to be whitelisted due to our GeoIP blocks. They were also very flexible and accommodating when we ran into some delays with team members on our side. **What do you dislike about Cybri?** Overall, I didn’t run into any issues, though payment was required in full up front. Some penetration testing companies I’ve worked with previously offered a small split-payment arrangement, but I don’t really see the upfront payment requirement as a negative. **Recommendations to others considering Cybri:** Their pricing is on par with, or better than, the thirty competitors I’ve received quotes from. You get what you pay for, and avoiding a breach is priceless. If you’ve had lower-end penetration testing done or even higher-cost engagements and you really want to be confident your external infrastructure or web applications are secure, give Cybri a try. I used Cybri again in 2025 after two years to review our external infrastructure and a new web application, and they didn’t disappoint.
