**What do you like best about Cyberbase?**

The biggest thing for us is how much faster deals actually close. That gap between being certified and being deal-ready is where opportunities used to stall out  security questionnaires, redlines, due diligence back-and-forth eating up days at a time. 

Cyberbase pretty much collapses that. The contract redlining catches risky language before legal even opens the doc. Deals keep their momentum instead of sitting in someone's inbox.

**What do you dislike about Cyberbase?**

One thing I'd love to see is more granular analytics on the Trust Center, who's viewing what, how long they're spending on specific docs, drop-off points. That kind of visibility would make it even easier to read buyer intent and time our follow-ups.

**What problems is Cyberbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the biggest win for me is that Cyberbase removes one of the silent killers of pipeline velocity - security and due diligence friction late in the funnel. We can pour budget into sourcing great-fit leads, but if they stall out in week three on a security questionnaire, my reported pipeline number starts to look very different from what's actually closing.

**What do you like best about Cyberbase?**

Let me give some context — I run marketing at Paysight, a payment orchestration platform. We process transactions for e-commerce and subscription businesses, which means every enterprise prospect we talk to has a security and compliance team that needs to vet us before anything moves forward. PCI DSS, SOC 2, data handling policies, vendor risk — it's table stakes in our space.

I wasn't the one who found Cyberbase — our revenue team was. They were drowning in security questionnaires from mid-market and enterprise prospects. Every serious deal would hit the same wall: procurement sends a 100-200 question DDQ, our small team scrambles to pull answers from old documents and Slack threads, and the deal goes dark for two weeks while we assemble everything. I got involved because I kept hearing the same thing from our sales team: 'Marketing is promising enterprise-grade security on the website, but we can't prove it fast enough when buyers actually ask.'

That stung. So I sat in on a demo with our Head of Revenue and immediately saw the value. The first real test was a large e-commerce brand running a formal vendor evaluation — they sent a 160-question security assessment and gave us five business days. Our team submitted in two. Honestly, the product isn't built for marketers — and that's fine, it shouldn't be. Most of the day-to-day value goes to our revenue and security teams. I'd love it if there were a way to pull compliance badges or trust signals directly into our marketing pages without involving engineering, but that's a nice-to-have, not a dealbreaker. The analytics and reporting side could also be more robust — I'd want to see data like 'average questionnaire turnaround time' or 'deals influenced by faster security response' so I can quantify the impact in board decks. The team has been receptive when I've shared this feedback.

**What problems is Cyberbase solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In fintech and payments, security diligence isn't optional — it's the first gate every enterprise deal has to clear. Before Cyberbase, that gate was costing us weeks per opportunity and creating a disconnect between what marketing was promising and what the sales team could actually deliver on the ground. Now our questionnaire turnaround is measured in days instead of weeks, our win rate on deals that involve a formal security review has gone up noticeably, and I can build marketing campaigns around our compliance posture with confidence because I know the sales team can back it up in real time. The contract redlining also helps us review partnership and merchant agreements faster, which matters when you're scaling a payment platform and signing new processing partners regularly.

**What do you like best about Cyberbase?**

We build the email design platform that over 1.6 million people use, with integrations into Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce, and 90+ other ESPs. My job is to prospect enterprise accounts and get qualified meetings on the calendar for our AEs. I'm measured on pipeline generated, not deals closed — but I care a lot about what happens to the deals I source, because that's what builds your reputation internally and gets you promoted.

Here's what was happening before Cyberbase: I'd do the work — identify the right account, multi-thread into the org, land the meeting, get the prospect genuinely excited about the platform. The AE would run a great demo, the prospect would say 'this is exactly what we need,' commercial terms would look fine — and then it would all stop. Their security or procurement team would send over a DDQ, and our side would go quiet for one, sometimes two weeks while people scrambled to pull together answers. I'd watch deals I sourced sit in 'Security Review' stage for ages and eventually some of them went cold. The prospect's champion would lose internal momentum, other vendors would catch up, and by the time we responded to the questionnaire, the window had closed.

I raised this with my manager after I lost attribution on a deal I'd spent six weeks building because the prospect ghosted us during a three-week security review delay. That conversation was part of what pushed our team to evaluate tools. Cyberbase was brought in primarily for the AEs and our ops lead, but the impact on my pipeline was immediate.

The first deal where I saw the difference: I sourced an enterprise e-commerce brand, the kind that runs millions in email campaigns monthly. Their security team sent a 140-question vendor assessment after the second call. In the old world, that's the part where I'd start mentally writing the deal off. I don't use the platform day-to-day — the AEs and our ops lead handle the actual questionnaire responses. So I can't speak to every feature in detail. What I will say is that I wish I had visibility into it from my side. If I could see in real-time when a questionnaire was submitted, what the status was, or get a notification when security review is cleared — that would help me stay on top of my deals and coordinate better with AEs. Right now I'm just asking in Slack. It would also be great if there were some kind of shareable asset — like a one-pager or a link — that I could proactively send to prospects during the first outreach sequence. Something like 'here's our security overview' that gets ahead of the questionnaire before it even happens. That would make my outbound even stronger.

The core problem is simple: security review was where my best-sourced enterprise deals went to die. I'd invest weeks prospecting and warming up an account, land the meeting, the AE would build great momentum — and then the deal would stall for two to three weeks in security review while our team manually assembled questionnaire answers. Some prospects lost patience and went with whoever responded first.

Cyberbase fixed the bottleneck. Questionnaires that took two weeks now take two to three days. My pipeline doesn't leak at the security stage anymore. Deals I source are actually closing at a meaningfully higher rate — not because the product pitch changed or because I'm sourcing better accounts, but because the operational machinery behind the sale can finally keep up with the speed of the conversation. For an SDR, that's everything. My numbers look better, my AEs are happier, and I've stopped dreading the moment a prospect says 'our security team will need to vet you.
