**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 송희 . | Data Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

I've used six different CDMS platforms, including cubeCDMS, and I believe cubeCDMS is the most user-friendly one. The UX and UI are excellent, making it easy and intuitive to navigate. The user manual is well organized by section, and it's easy to search for answers whenever I have questions. Overall, I think cubeCDMS is a very well-designed system that clearly takes the user's convenience and experience into account.
The AI recommendation feature for coding is also very useful and has been a great help in my daily work.
Also, The integration between different modules is seamless, making workflows more efficient. The system performance is also excellent, with fast response times and stable operation.
The pricing is reasonable for the value it delivers. Its intuitive interface, reliable performance, and time-saving features make it a cost-effective solution for clinical data management.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

One suggestion for improvement is related to coding dictionary version upgrades.
When a coding dictionary is upgraded, it would be helpful if records with codes that differ from the new dictionary version were automatically uncoded, so they can be reviewed and recoded as needed.
Since it is not easy for Data Managers to manually review every coded record after a version upgrade, I believe this feature would improve both efficiency and coding accuracy.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cubeCDMS has streamlined many data management tasks by providing an intuitive interface and efficient workflows. It has reduced the time needed for data review, query management, and coding, allowing me to focus more on data quality rather than system operation. The AI coding recommendations have also improved coding efficiency and reduced manual effort.

  ### 2. Easy Data Entry and Clear Data Display

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

The information entry process is simple and intuitive, which makes it quick to update records. I also like how the data is organized and displayed in a clear, easy-to-read format, making it much easier to review information and find what I need without wasting time.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

CubeCDMS is experiencing slow data loading, especially when opening subject records or moving between pages. This delay makes it take longer to review and enter data during monitoring and data cleaning, reducing overall efficiency. Improving the loading speed would help streamline daily workflows and make the system more responsive.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I hope the outstanding data review system can be improved. A clearer layout with better filtering and navigation to pending items would make it much easier to identify unresolved data and complete data cleaning more efficiently.

  ### 3. Reliable EDC for Efficient Clinical Trial Monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), what I like best about cubeCDMS is how efficiently it supports daily clinical trial monitoring and data review. I primarily use the system to review eCRFs, perform Source Data Verification (SDV), monitor query status, and confirm that subject data are entered accurately and in a timely manner.

The user interface is well organized, making it easy to navigate between subjects, visits, and eCRF pages without unnecessary clicks. Even when reviewing a large number of subjects across multiple study sites, I can quickly locate the information I need. This significantly reduces the time spent searching for specific forms or data points during routine monitoring activities.

One of the most valuable features is the ability to easily identify missing data, inconsistencies, and outstanding queries. The system provides a clear overview of data completion and query status, allowing me to focus on items that require immediate attention. This helps improve communication with study coordinators and investigators and supports faster data cleaning throughout the study.

I also appreciate the overall performance of the platform. Pages load quickly, and the system remains stable during long monitoring sessions, even when reviewing multiple participants consecutively. This reliability is important because it allows me to complete SDV and data review efficiently without frequent interruptions.

Another strength is that the layout is intuitive enough for both experienced and new study team members to learn. Basic functions such as reviewing subject visits, checking eCRF completion, and tracking data changes are straightforward, which shortens the learning curve and improves overall workflow.

Overall, cubeCDMS helps streamline the monitoring process by providing an organized, reliable, and user-friendly environment for clinical data review. It improves efficiency, supports data quality, and makes day-to-day CRA activities more productive.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Overall, I have had a positive experience with cubeCDMS, and there are no major issues that significantly affect my daily work. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some pages require multiple clicks to access detailed subject information, so reducing the number of navigation steps would make the workflow more efficient.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cubeCDMS helps solve the challenge of managing and reviewing large volumes of clinical trial data across multiple study sites. As a CRA, I use it to review eCRFs, perform Source Data Verification (SDV), and monitor data queries in one centralized system, which reduces the need to track information manually.

The platform makes it easier to identify missing data, inconsistencies, and outstanding queries, allowing issues to be addressed earlier in the study. This improves communication with study sites, supports better data quality, and helps monitoring activities be completed more efficiently. Overall, cubeCDMS saves time, streamlines the monitoring process, and enables me to focus more on ensuring accurate and complete clinical trial data.

  ### 4. All-in-One IWRS + EDC with Smart SAE Reporting and Time-Saving API Lab Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

1. Having both IWRS and EDC integrated into a single account and site greatly improves convenience and makes day-to-day use much smoother.

2. Mapping EDC data directly to generate SAE Reports helps reduce discrepancies between the EDC and the report. It also makes follow-up reporting easier, since we can update only the necessary sections based on the previous entries.

3. Assigning keywords to subjects enables efficient group-based management—such as filtering, data extraction, freezing, and medical coding—which is particularly effective for large-scale studies. This is especially helpful for organizing PMS studies by annual cohorts.

4. During medical coding, the system provides ranked code suggestions with highly relevant terms, which significantly streamlines the search process.

5. Being able to track and manage query status by marking items as “Overdue” is very helpful for data-cleaning workflows.

6. Integrating data directly via APIs with Central Labs or institutions automatically populates actual lab results into the CRFs. This eliminates the need for PIs or CRCs to input data manually, which greatly reduces human error and saves a massive amount of time.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

1. Query History

Currently, when reviewing data in cubeCDMS, the history of query creation and responses can only be checked via the Audit Trail. In day-to-day data review, we often need to confirm what was asked previously before sending a follow-up query, so having to open the Audit Trail every time interrupts the workflow. If query history could be shown directly on the relevant data field or item page, the review process would feel smoother and more efficient.

2. Standard Unit Configuration

When configuring Standard Units, each item has to be registered individually, and the related Edit Check Specifications (ECS) also need to be set up one by one. For studies with a large number of laboratory tests, this results in a lot of repetitive work during study setup. Support for bulk registration and/or reusable templates would reduce setup time and help keep settings consistent across items.

3. SDTM Export

It would be very helpful if cubeCDMS could export data in CDISC SDTM format. Even if the internal database structure differs from SDTM, having an item-mapping option during export would make SDTM dataset preparation easier and reduce the amount of downstream programming needed for clinical data management and statistical analysis.

4. Edit Check Specification (ECS) Configuration

cubeCDMS uses its own functions for ECS configuration rather than SQL or other scripting languages. For new users, implementing complex edit checks can be difficult without reference study examples. Also, since expressions cannot be entered directly by typing, ECS setup tends to take more time than a code-based configuration approach.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cubeCDMS streamlines modern clinical data management by removing the need for manual tracking and reducing fragmented workflows. Features such as IWRS-EDC integration, automated Central Lab API links, and direct SAE report mapping help minimize human error and cut down on post-processing effort. Overall, it enables us to run large-scale studies and handle complex data cleaning with noticeably greater speed and accuracy.

  ### 5. Intuitive UI and AI Recommendations That Speed Up Medical Coding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

I think the biggest advantage of cubeCDMS is its intuitive IU, which allows even first-time users to use it easily. Regardless of one's role, I found it a significant strength that the menus users need are immediately visible and easy to access. Additionally, as I have relatively little experience since joining as a Medical Director, I found the AI recommendation feature particularly convenient for Medical Coding. Since I lack extensive experience in Medical Coding, finding appropriate coding values based solely on verbatim data reported by the institution used to take a considerable amount of time and deliberation; however, the AI recommendation feature has been a great help in shortening Medical Coding time.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Regarding the "Quick Coding" feature within the batch coding function, I found it disappointing that ATC coding for drugs is only possible for ATC codes that have already been coded within the same project. I understand that MedDRA allows searching for terms and coding even without a history of coding the same term previously; however, unlike MedDRA, ATC codes seem to require a history of coding with the same ATC code to be searchable and coded within Quick Coding. I would like to know if this is an area that can be improved.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm sorry, but I don't really feel any impact from this part, so I'm not sure.

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

Provides a variety of features, allows for different privileges per role, and EDC setup is not that difficult.
In particular, there are various ECS settings, so there is not much manual query.
If you are not sure how to set it up, you can use ChatGPT to find it or in the online manual, and if you have any difficulties, you can ask for help to get a quick response and resolve it.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

As various functions are developed and provided, they become more complex and do not know all of them, so I often look up a lot of online manuals, but they are not well understood due to the lack of specific examples. I would like it if you could supplement specific setup methods and examples in the online manual. And it is difficult to find the desired functions and setup methods because they are divided into regular update in the online manual.

  ### 44. User-Friendly System Packed with Powerful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

I find the system very user-friendly and easy to navigate. It offers a wide range of features that meet the needs of our company's more complex design studies.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Since we just started using it, there’s really nothing I dislike so far. However, there are a few small improvements that could make it even more convenient, such as allowing items to be moved across different CRFs instead of having to delete them.

Have a great day,
Sylvain

  ### 45. Suggestions for improving the builder certification process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SEEUN C. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

In the case of Cube CDMS, it offers great flexibility in implementing various types of clinical trials. From Phase I trials to PMS for medical devices, I found that, compared to other CDMS solutions, there were no major limitations from a builder’s perspective in terms of implementation. In particular, during the process of analyzing raw data after the build, I noticed that the data were collected cleanly and without omissions, which I believe enhances the overall reliability of the data.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Regarding the certification process for builders, I feel that the process is somewhat lengthy and may be a burden for practitioners. I think a more streamlined procedure, or one that allows for self-training, would be more reasonable.
As for Cube Safety, I understand that it is still in the process of being upgraded; however, it is a bit unfortunate that there are not enough training materials or proper user guides available. Of course, in the case of Safety, users tend to explore it through various test scenarios, but still, having more structured learning resources would be helpful.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First of all, I felt that the response process was very fast, and I appreciate that Cube tries to support users in various ways to make the system more convenient to use. Unlike some other CDMS administrators who are not always responsive, the Cube team has been very helpful and kind, which I find highly satisfactory. Whenever I needed additional help, they were even willing to provide explanations through training sessions or Zoom meetings, which made me feel confident and satisfied with their support.

  ### 47. Efficient, Intuitive, and Trusted by Sites – A Great EDC System for CRAs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahyoung K. | CRA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

CubeCDMS is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, both for CRAs and for site staff. As a CRA, I can easily track query resolution, monitor data entry status, and ensure data quality in real time. The system’s interface is clean and well-organized, which helps minimize errors and saves valuable time. Most importantly, investigators and coordinators consistently tell me that it's the easiest EDC system they've ever used, which reduces their burden and encourages timely data entry.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

While the system works well overall, one area for improvement would be the handling of submitted SAE reports. Since configurations can vary between studies, it would be extremely helpful if CubeCDMS could provide a standardized view that clearly highlights what has changed in the SAE report compared to previous versions. Additionally, having the ability to extract this information as raw data would make safety review and documentation much more efficient.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CubeCDMS simplifies and streamlines the entire data management process. It helps ensure high data quality through built-in logic checks and intuitive CRF design, which reduces the need for re-training or clarification with site staff. The real-time visibility into data status allows me to proactively address issues, improve monitoring efficiency, and keep studies on track. The user-friendly interface also leads to faster and more accurate data entry at the site level, which ultimately benefits the entire study timeline.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

> Hi Ahyoung,
Your review is amazing, thank you so much. You listed so many of the positive points that we aimed to achieve with cubeCDMS, it makes us want to do even more to simplify clinical research! We have made a note of your comment about SAE reports. We recognize this is an area for improvement and we will work with our product team to enhance it.
All the best,
Sylvain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jiyeon k. | CRA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

One of the main advantages of using the CubeCDMS system is its intuitive and straightforward interface, which makes it visually appealing and easy to navigate. Data extraction is also convenient and efficient, which significantly improves workflow. Overall, the system design enhances both usability and productivity. Also, system downtime is significantly less frequent compared to other EDC systems. With around 7 years of experience as a CRA, I can confidently say that CRScube is the most satisfying system I’ve worked with. Site staff also consistently express a strong preference for the CRScube system.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

The UI is not fully optimized for mobile or tablet devices, which made it somewhat inconvenient when trying to check things quickly on-site.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

Creating CRF forms is simple and effective. Additionally, log forms can be assigned within visits, and CRF forms can be designed like Excel spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

There is no feature to import design information from externally created forms, as offered by other products.
Furthermore, since the API specifications are not publicly available, it is difficult to achieve integration with external systems.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In academic settings where budgets are often constrained, adopting expensive EDC systems has typically been a challenge, which has resulted in a continued dependence on paper-based clinical trials. Moreover, more affordable EDC options have usually fallen short in terms of functionality, making it difficult to find a solution that fully meets our needs.

The arrival of cubeCDMS has changed this dynamic by offering a robust, feature-rich EDC system at a low cost. Its user-friendly approach to creating implementation plans has also made it much easier to coordinate and align expectations with physicians working directly in the field.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

> Many thanks for reviewing cubeCDMS!

We appreciate your constructive comments and we will take them into consideration for future product evolutions. I'm very pleased to read that cubeCDMS fills a gap in the industry by being feature-rich, yet affordable.

Have a great day!
Sylvain
