## cubeCDMS Reviews
  ### 1. Review by CRScube Builder and CDMS user

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** woody y. | Data manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

Provides a variety of features, allows for different privileges per role, and EDC setup is not that difficult.
In particular, there are various ECS settings, so there is not much manual query.
If you are not sure how to set it up, you can use ChatGPT to find it or in the online manual, and if you have any difficulties, you can ask for help to get a quick response and resolve it.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

As various functions are developed and provided, they become more complex and do not know all of them, so I often look up a lot of online manuals, but they are not well understood due to the lack of specific examples. I would like it if you could supplement specific setup methods and examples in the online manual. And it is difficult to find the desired functions and setup methods because they are divided into regular update in the online manual.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Functional development and supplementation are underway for various clinical trials, so it is preferred to any other EDC.

  ### 2. Efficient System with Room for Workflow Optimization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Y M. | Associate Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

I appreciate the user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to input and manage clinical data efficiently. The system’s structure is intuitive, allowing smooth navigation even for first-time users. I also find the real-time data visibility and logical layout very useful for tracking study progress and ensuring data integrity.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Sometimes the system can be a bit slow when loading or saving large datasets, which affects workflow efficiency. Additionally, some functions require multiple steps to complete simple tasks, which could be optimized to reduce repetitive work. It would also be helpful to have more customizable reporting features to fit different study needs.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cubeCDMS provides a structured and centralized platform for entering and managing CRF data, which significantly reduces manual errors and ensures consistency in clinical trial documentation. It improves data accuracy, supports real-time monitoring, and streamlines communication between the site and sponsor. This ultimately increases overall study efficiency and helps maintain data integrity.

  ### 3. Convenient and Intuitive Design of cubeCDMS System

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sinjee S. | Project Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

The UI is intuitive and easy to use. It is also convenient that both the EDC system and the IWRS system can be accessed on a single page.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

There is nothing I particularly dislike. However, in other systems, the visit date is displayed next to the visit number once the subject’s visit page has been entered. I think it would be more convenient if this feature were also applied to the cubeCDMS EDC system.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because cubeCDMS listens to users’ suggestions and feedback and applies them more quickly compared to other companies, it makes me more willing to actively provide feedback and share suggestions.
In addition, a site that use the cubeCDMS system also show a positive response when they hear that both the EDC and IWRS systems are operated through cubeCDMS.

  ### 4. The Good and the Gaps: cubeCDMS Key Pros and Cons Explained

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** moah s. | Project manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

  ### 7. User-Friendly System Packed with Powerful Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

I find the system very user-friendly and easy to navigate. It offers a wide range of features that meet the needs of our company's more complex design studies.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Since we just started using it, there’s really nothing I dislike so far. However, there are a few small improvements that could make it even more convenient, such as allowing items to be moved across different CRFs instead of having to delete them.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In addition to the standard data collection, the system allows for direct use of drug supply without needing to rely on the randomization feature, which makes managing drugs in multi-center studies much more efficient. For studies with extension designs, it’s also very convenient to continue the process or copy the database. This significantly reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks and accelerates the overall project progress.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

  ### 8. Suggestions for improving the builder certification process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SEEUN C. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

In the case of Cube CDMS, it offers great flexibility in implementing various types of clinical trials. From Phase I trials to PMS for medical devices, I found that, compared to other CDMS solutions, there were no major limitations from a builder’s perspective in terms of implementation. In particular, during the process of analyzing raw data after the build, I noticed that the data were collected cleanly and without omissions, which I believe enhances the overall reliability of the data.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

Regarding the certification process for builders, I feel that the process is somewhat lengthy and may be a burden for practitioners. I think a more streamlined procedure, or one that allows for self-training, would be more reasonable.
As for Cube Safety, I understand that it is still in the process of being upgraded; however, it is a bit unfortunate that there are not enough training materials or proper user guides available. Of course, in the case of Safety, users tend to explore it through various test scenarios, but still, having more structured learning resources would be helpful.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First of all, I felt that the response process was very fast, and I appreciate that Cube tries to support users in various ways to make the system more convenient to use. Unlike some other CDMS administrators who are not always responsive, the Cube team has been very helpful and kind, which I find highly satisfactory. Whenever I needed additional help, they were even willing to provide explanations through training sessions or Zoom meetings, which made me feel confident and satisfied with their support.

  ### 9. Efficient, Intuitive, and Trusted by Sites – A Great EDC System for CRAs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahyoung K. | CRA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

CubeCDMS is incredibly intuitive and easy to navigate, both for CRAs and for site staff. As a CRA, I can easily track query resolution, monitor data entry status, and ensure data quality in real time. The system’s interface is clean and well-organized, which helps minimize errors and saves valuable time. Most importantly, investigators and coordinators consistently tell me that it's the easiest EDC system they've ever used, which reduces their burden and encourages timely data entry.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

While the system works well overall, one area for improvement would be the handling of submitted SAE reports. Since configurations can vary between studies, it would be extremely helpful if CubeCDMS could provide a standardized view that clearly highlights what has changed in the SAE report compared to previous versions. Additionally, having the ability to extract this information as raw data would make safety review and documentation much more efficient.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CubeCDMS simplifies and streamlines the entire data management process. It helps ensure high data quality through built-in logic checks and intuitive CRF design, which reduces the need for re-training or clarification with site staff. The real-time visibility into data status allows me to proactively address issues, improve monitoring efficiency, and keep studies on track. The user-friendly interface also leads to faster and more accurate data entry at the site level, which ultimately benefits the entire study timeline.

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

Creating CRF forms is simple and effective. Additionally, log forms can be assigned within visits, and CRF forms can be designed like Excel spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

There is no feature to import design information from externally created forms, as offered by other products.
Furthermore, since the API specifications are not publicly available, it is difficult to achieve integration with external systems.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In academic settings where budgets are often constrained, adopting expensive EDC systems has typically been a challenge, which has resulted in a continued dependence on paper-based clinical trials. Moreover, more affordable EDC options have usually fallen short in terms of functionality, making it difficult to find a solution that fully meets our needs.

The arrival of cubeCDMS has changed this dynamic by offering a robust, feature-rich EDC system at a low cost. Its user-friendly approach to creating implementation plans has also made it much easier to coordinate and align expectations with physicians working directly in the field.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

There's nothing particularly noteworthy, but it was disappointing that I was automatically logged out after a certain period and couldn't access multiple assignments simultaneously. However, I remember being told that there's nothing that can be done about this.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was satisfied because the issues I reported to the help center that required system improvements were often reflected in the next update.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

- It is easy to use thanks to its intuitive UI.
-It is familiar to site staff in Korea, as it is already widely used across many institutions.
-Staff respond quickly to queries and system errors.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

It would be helpful if CRCs could be restricted from making final submissions during SAE reporting, as many CRCs mistakenly submit due to confusion.

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since cubeCDMS is used in many studies, it will make site guidance and monitoring easier.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

> Hi Subin,
Thank you for your review of cubeCDMS. It's great to see that you like the user interface and your interactions with our team have been positive.
Regarding your comment about SAE report submission, this is a configurable part of the system: the ESIGN_REPORT_PAGE privilege defines which user types can sign and submit the SAE report. By removing it from CRCs, they will not be able to submit the report.

I hope it will help for future studies.
All the best,
Sylvain

  ### 47. User frinedly CDMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** 진성 . | DMA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2025

**What do you like best about cubeCDMS?**

CubeCDMS provides numerous DM user frinedly featrues which helps manage clinical data efficiently and the customer service provides prompt and clear guidance.

**What do you dislike about cubeCDMS?**

When accessing pages with a large amount of information in CubeBuilder (e.g., role & privilege library page or when adding multiple instances with many rows), lag occurs.
For example, when doing lab related edit check pramming, there was a case when approximately 140 LBNRIND needs to be link forced from LBORRES. Due to the system lag, saving took a long time, and at times, the process froze, resulting in additional time needed to redo the same task. While this is likely due to the large volume of data being processed, it would be great if this could be improved. Of course, resolving this may not be easy, but if this issue were improved, there would hardly be anything to consider a drawback

**What problems is cubeCDMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CubeCDMS helps manage reliable data more efficiently and quickly, ensuring accuracy.

**Official Response from Sylvain Berthelot:**

> Hi,
Thank you for sharing your experience with cubeCDMS. Our product team was made aware of the lag you are experiencing. They will look into it. It's good to see that cubeCDMS helps you better manage data. This is our goal!
Sylvain
