## About CraftNote
CraftNote is a bot-free AI meeting note taker that records, transcribes, and summarizes conversations directly from your device's microphone and system audio. Unlike bot-based tools such as Otter or Fireflies, no visible CraftNote participant joins your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams call, which matters for client meetings, investor calls, or any conversation where an extra participant on the call isn't welcome. CraftNote works fully offline. It records without an internet connection and syncs and transcribes automatically once you're back online, making it useful for in-person meetings, field interviews, or locations with unreliable wifi. Transcription and AI summaries are supported across more than 80 languages, with automatic language detection. A core feature is persistent Speaker Memory. Once you identify a speaker, CraftNote recognizes their voice automatically in every future meeting, so you don't have to re-label the same client, colleague, or interview subject each time. CraftNote also extracts action items and decisions from every conversation automatically, turning a raw transcript into a usable summary without manual review. Additional features include Ask AI, which lets you chat with any meeting transcript or search across your entire meeting archive in natural language, and Summary to Podcast, which converts a written summary into podcast-style audio for listening on the go. Custom and auto-apply templates adjust the summary format automatically based on meeting type, whether that's a board meeting, sales call, retro, or interview. CraftNote is available on iPhone, Android, Mac (as a native desktop app), and the web, so notes stay in sync across every device you use. It integrates with HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, Notion, Slack, Asana, Google Docs, and OneNote, so meeting summaries and action items can flow directly into the tools a team already works in. On privacy, CraftNote stores data on EU servers in Frankfurt, encrypted with AES-256 in transit and at rest. Raw audio is automatically deleted 60 days after capture, and meeting data is never used to train AI models. CraftNote is GDPR-compliant. CraftNote is used by consultants, freelancers, students, academic researchers, startup founders, and remote teams who need an accurate record of meetings, interviews, and lectures without manual note-taking.
