I was using a laptop that had a RAM of only 8GB and it was slowing in Lightroom. But AfterShot Pro is lightweight, only. It is capable of opening RAW files of my Sony camera without delay. The "Batch" processing is very powerful. The filter can transfer me to 100 photos and export them within a couple of minutes. Exquisite in the event that I need to provide wedding pictures in a hurry. **What do you dislike about Corel AfterShot Pro?** Bad interface and it resembles a 10-year-old software. It appears to be rather oldfashioned, that is, no modern /design. As well, the number of pre-sets is also varied in comparison with other software. All in all, it took a while to produce my own presets. The Healing Brush to remove spots sometimes is not so smooth as i wanted. **What problems is Corel AfterShot Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The issues that AfterShot Pro has been developed to address- and what you acquire out of it. That, and made me forget about my problem with latency editing. It is a 64-bit app so makes lovely use of my computer power. The color correction ICC profile does not work correctly with these file types and must be converted to a TIFF before using profiles. It is a heaven for some people but too mucj simplicity brings with it trouble like not many features! The best of all is that it brings a library with pre-established improvements that are like species of filters but that give many improvements to my photos.
