I really appreciate how effortless Kit makes small-business marketing. It's perfect for people who aren't experts in social media or advertising, and that shows in every part of the tool. I love how it automates the entire workflow end-to-end by suggesting posts, creating simple creative, scheduling them, and even running retargeting ads without me having to start from scratch. The biggest benefit for our lean team is that it's like having a reliable part-time marketing assistant without needing training or oversight. Its automation and creative features remove almost all manual work while maintaining consistency. Kit pulls product info directly, suggests when and what to post, schedules content at the best times, and even runs retargeting ads for abandoned carts, without us needing to plan campaigns or write copy from scratch. The creative tools are simple but effective, generating clean, on-brand social posts and basic ad creative using our product images, which saves us the need for a designer or copywriter. The ability to tweak posts easily is a great time-saver. Additionally, the initial setup of Kit was extremely easy and straightforward, making it one of the simplest tools we've onboarded as a small team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest one is that the automation is pretty basic and not very flexible. It does a good job with simple social posts and retargeting ads, but you can’t customize sequences, set up more specific rules, or tailor the messaging to different customer groups. It’s very 'one-size-fits-all,' so we can’t fine-tune it to match our brand voice or customer journey as closely as we want. Right now, Kit only runs basic, generic automations—like post a product or run a retargeting ad. What would be game-changing is simple, conditional logic that doesn’t require tech skills. For example: If a customer bought X, send a follow-up for Y; Post different content for new vs. returning visitors; Pause ads automatically when inventory is low; Schedule campaigns around promotions or holidays without manual approval. Right now, it’s all or nothing. Adding basic 'if this, then that' rules would let us personalize our marketing without extra work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
