  ### 1. Great Potential, But Needs Better Save Prompts and Smarter Search Features

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

I use the Advanced Search feature a lot. I like being able to look up contracts by certain common filter topics/key words that we use around the office. I refer to the Expiration Report on my home page a lot (which, kudos to CLX for having a customizable home page) to see which contracts I need to review. I will manually change the expiration date (if needed) only after reviewing the contract.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

When I leave a record page on Contract Logix, the system does not ask me if I'd like to save my work. I think this is a basic function that many other programs have that CLX is lacking. The times I have gone back into the file to make sure my changes have been saved is obnoxious. One other thing I would want improved is the responsiveness of the sub-populated results when entering a new contracts field information. The results that pop up are not very intuitive, and one spelling error will render a useless search.  In addition, when searching for and attaching contacts to a record, I find that first name + first letter of last name will give a result, but when I use first name + a few letters of last name, no results will show, which I don't think is very functional.
When adding in a custom alert notice, it would be nice to be able to drag over field options from the contract (expiration date, organization name, etc.) into my custom alert. I know this feature is available on email templates, but not the custom alert option. One more item for my wish list is: after creating an alert, I wish there was a way to demo what the alert would look like once emailed out and have CLX send it to only me (administrator). A one-click "test this alert" send button would be nice.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CLX to track expiration dates and received reminders on which programs need to be renewed or reviewed.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

One of the standout features of Contract Logix for me is the exceptional support provided by my customer success manager, Jose. He has consistently helped in resolving any issues I encounter with the platform. Jose’s ability to listen to my concerns and then swiftly come up with effective solutions is truly commendable.

Whether it’s a problem with a workflow or understanding new technology being released, Jose is always quick to respond and assist in understanding and addressing any problems. His commitment and expertise make a significant difference in my experience with Contract Logix.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

On the other hand, my experience with CLX Support, specifically with Eric, has been disappointing. He does not seem to take the time to fully understand the workflow issues we have encountered. Our workflow is quite unique and CLX helped us implement it with the assistance of a very skilled individual. Since then, however, the support we have received from the current staff has not met our expectations. It often feels as though Eric is more interested in quickly marking requests as resolved and closing tickets, even when the issues have not truly been addressed.  I am thankful for our Customer Success Manager, Jose, for stepping in and figuring things out.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CLX is a documents repository for our international distribution and license agreements.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

I've been using Contract Logix for 9 years now and have no plans to switch.  Started off with an on-prem version and then migrated to the latest Gen II web-based version.  This is such a robust platform that has performed all the tasks we've asked of it.  Super easy-to-use repository and a very straightforward workflow process.  The reporting on the newest version is a simple click.  Ability to sort and filter on almost every field.  Contract Logix is constantly working to improve and rolls out updates, often with an accompanying webinar to walk through the changes.  Great product and great company to work with.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

We aren't in the business of writing our own contracts, so I can't speak to that side of the software.  Any bugs we've encountered have been thoroughly vetted and remedied by the Contract Logix team.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely heavily on the alerting function of Contract Logix to notify the team when a contract is expiring or due to renewal.   Nothing falls through the cracks!

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

The system is highly configurable and customizable.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

While the configurability is a strong aspect, it seems to come at the cost of consistent access to, and reporting on, the captured data. Custom fields and custom objects are not seamlessly integrated into the API logic, which makes complex reporting and contributing to reporting tools more challenging. Despite these limitations, the CLX team has been very helpful and actively engaged in working to address these issues.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Once it is fully implemented, this will provide us with a comprehensive, enterprise-wide solution for both contract management and contract reporting.

Nothing I can think of, I'm still learning it. Maybe the reports could stand to be a little more user friendly, but that could just be me still learning the software.

Redlining contracts, catching duplicate contracts if I'm not able to search for a specific one.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

Contract Logix is very user friendly with a lot of features to be able to pull out important details of a contract and is  an extremely efficient system that is both moldable to your business/personal needs and reliable in highlighting key aspects of the contract at hand.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

It would be nice to be able to use the search function in the top right corner for a generic search across all categories to pull out words/phrases/numbers in a contract you are searching for without having to separate the search according to a specific category.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While we mostly use Contract Logix for cloud storage capabilities and organization of already existing/drafted contracts, it is great to remind you of certain key aspects of the contract and will not let you continue if you do not select certain categories, thereby helping categorize the contracts and ensure that important information has been extracted.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

Neat ahd organized location to store our contracts. It is fairly easy to use once I got used to the fields. Customer support is always great with timely response. I use it whenever I receive a new contract to add. Adding our contracts from another database we were using is still ongoing.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

I wish the search box at the top right would just search for Contracts. I usually will have to use the Advanced search feature under tools for better results.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know enough about Contract Logix as I would like to with limited time. Once we are able to upload our old database into Contract Logix it probably would be more helpful. The alerts will be helpful in letting people know when renewals are coming up. Usually in the past we would not know when automatic renewals are coming up and it wouldn't give the company a chance to review other options.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

Our multi-family residential firm uses Contract Logix as our central contract contract management and administration platform. CLx is a very intuitive and power platform that allows for simple oversight of contracts for our full portfolio. The easy to use reports and filters make tracking contracts by location, type, service, a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

One aspect we have thus far found a little lacking is robust notifications for contract expirations and changes. Typically notices can only be sent to contract originators not all team members whom may interact with the contract. But we have found workable alternatives for our organization.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all contracts organized and managaging consistent SOW across multiple locations.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

I like that Contract Logix is easy to navigate.  It is very user friendly for the most part. And the manual is very helpful when I'm not sure how to do something.    Being able to set up email alerts for reminders to replace old COIs is proving to be very valuable and helps us stay on top of the many contracts the company has with vendors and services.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

The only reason I say this program is "for the most part" user friendly is because I would prefer when you create an alert for a COI reminder that it would have an expiration date so I would not have to go in and delete it after the COI is replaced. It would not cause me to pick another program over this one and does not in any way outwiegh the pros of this program.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our department we use Contract Logix to help us keep our many contracts with vendors, services and contractors current.  We use the alerts to track when contracts need to be renewed and when the COIs are expiring.  The email alerts are a great tool.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

At this moment, I am only using Contract Logix as a contract repository tool.  Once the contracts are entered, the search and reporting can be done quickly with ease. The Contract Logix team was able to customize some fields to include some key info that's important to the Procurement function, which is a plus.  I especially like Contract Logix's ability to set and send alert emails to the user as well as any email addresses based the parameter I set.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

Although I find it not difficult to learn how to use Contract Logix, it seems that we often need a few training sessions before users become comfortable using it. Data entry could also be time-consuming.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now has a tool that can prompt us whenever particualr contracts expire.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

It is very easy to setup an integration with docusign and their support is fast and professional. There are some filter quirks but once you understand them it is very easy to navigate and use the system.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

Collaborating on a contract cannot be done with multiple users looking at the contract at the same time. Workflows can be designed a bit better so that the average person can set them up, it is a bottleneck point for us.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a digital solution to manage our contracts. We were storing them in google drive or locally on work computers. Contractlogix makes sure we have business continuity and fast and accurate contract management.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

Overall, it performs well for my functions (contract requests; contract repository with customized fields; alerts for expirations and auto-renewals and automated workflows). Customer support has been responsive and helpful when issues arise. It's been a valuable tool for our company, that meets our core contract management needs.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

Some elements are not intuitive in the back-end and require additional steps; Clean-up required after mass upload as organization names may be slightly different from one another, creating duplicates. I have had some requiring me to open tickets, and whilst not necessarily easy fixes, the team has been responsive.

I like the ability to create/customize workflows; utilize notes when submitting requests, approving, or submitting contract records; customize what fields are visible in the grids/tables, and the feature of adding amendments/addendums to the original record. Contract Logix was the first system I have ever dealt with workflows, and it is pretty straightforward to use/navigate. Contract Logix as a whole is fairly easy to learn and understand the different functions and features.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

I dislike that there are many glitches. Here are some problems encountered so far: sometimes when adding contacts to a contract record the contact list does not load or searches cannot be done in the contact record; cannot click the "options" tab of a contract record (as if you were adding an amednment/addendum) when screen is minimized to any size; a workflow once turned off/inactive after an update; limited automated text fields when creating email templates; limited customization to email notifications (for instance it does not tell you the name of the Collaboration Room); and Collaboration Room features could use improvement.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to my organization's structure with many different locations, Contract Logix is giving us a central storage hub or repository to store contracts of all locations. By creating a centralized place to access the contracts, there is less back-and-forth or email chasing trying to obtain copies of certain agreements. Furthermore, Contract Logix is beginning to make our contracting review process more efficient. Instead of emailing back and forth with different executives, Contract Logix has provided us one platform to submit requests, approve the agreements, review/edit the agreement, and get feedback from necessary internal stakeholders.

Contract Logix is intuitive and offers a lot of customization with layouts and fields.  They offer excellent support and work with you to enhance their product to further meet your unique business needs.  You can create workflows to automate steps such as for generating and sending custom agreements, updating related fields, internal and external communication, etc.  Not only can you manage your agreements, but you can also create custom reports that allow you to track and report on any aspect of the data in the layouts you create. In addition, finding agreements is easy.  We use Contract Logix on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

We've been using this product for almost two years.  Originally, the number of features available to meet our specific business needs were limited and it required a lot of communication with the team at Contract Logix to really make the product what it is today.  Over the last year, the dev team at Contract Logix has done an amazing job of really enhancing this product's capabilities.  It's difficult to find a "dislike" at this point.

Contract Logix is our one stop for managing our agreements.   It is primarily used for generating custom agreements and regular compliance communication to our network contacts.  The integration with DocuSign allows us to track the signature status of important documents.

As Contract Administator, I oversee hundreds of contracts on a yearly basis. Having all documents, proposal, and vendor inforation handy makes me extremely efficient. The notes section allows me to be detailed, keeping my colleagues in the loop if they need to step in for me. The visual cues are important since im a  The 60 and 30 day reminders are helpful in structuring time to work on renewals so my contracts never expire.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

I really dont have any downsides to using Contract Logix. One thing that i wish i could change would be to customize the Menu panel. Im a visual person, so the less tabs and icons I have the better.  I dont use the collaboration rooms at all and rarely used data extraction. If i could remove them and add back as needed, that would be great.

Contract Logix allows me to keep my properties contracts organized and efficient. By having Contracty Logix delegate tasks to others it saves me time and headaches of sending out reminders. We are loving the ability to tract expiration dates not only on contracts but licenses and insurance certificates.  The ability to process our contracts through a workflow and then send to via e-sign to our providers is a time saver for us!  Customer support has been awesome as we are easing into learning this new software.

Getting all of the information into the system has been time consuming but once we completed that things are moving quickly!  I do not like having to save my document continously but I hear that autosave is on the horizon!

We are no longer accessing our contracts from electronic files that we have no tracking abilities.  We now have expiration dates and a workflow system so nothing is getting missed.  We can access e-sign directly from the software so no jumping from one system to the next.

CLX has a very good layout, and is very neat and orderly.  It is more intuitive than other CM providers that we reviewed, and a major reason as to why we chose this system for our new software needs.  It was a very well support roll-out/implementation, and the team was very responsive to any issues we encountered.  We use CLX on a daily basis, and continue to expand its use more and more over time.  Since we did not have a dedicated electronic contract system previously, and with the Support team from CLX- it made integrating the system into our daily operations as easy as I imagine it could be.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

There isn't much I could say is not helpful.  The only real improvement that I feel would benefit me/my company would be a real-time saving feature, or auto-saving when navigating from one screen to another.  I did lose a fair amount of work were I forgot to continue to hit the save button after keying any change.  It was especially challenging during the rool out period before I developed the habit.

CLX is allowing us to have a digital system to file company needed documents and contracts that will allow greater visiblity to all roles within the company.  The ability to track contracts and have the "owners" notified to be alerted to due dates will help us avoid overlapping service contracts and monetary penalties that we suffered previosuly.

The multiple upload function is not working. It would have been useful for uploading several legacy agreements to the system; instead of loading each item one by one. Additionally, we would like to manipulate the columns in the tasks grid. There are little nuances to Contrct Logix that are not as user friendly as they could be.

The platform is very user friendly, and flexible enough to allow me to make changes as the needs of my organization change. I am able to easily upload many, many documents at the same time. I can literally drag and drop emails directly from Outlook. It also saves time and money with fast search features and the ability to share items with individuals who are not users in the system. The implementation process was smooth and we were able to easily integrate to our systems. Their customer service is excellent and problems are handled quickly. They keep in contact with us as new features or changes are available and they provide support by personally training each of my new users.

Downloading files is easy, however you have to download them individually.

When pulling reports, we don't want to have to pull a separate contact report and try to match the names to the vendor. Many vendors don't go by the personal names, and many do.

There are a few reasons why Contract Logix does not fit of needs. 1. there is no ability to determine if a new document is a duplicate 2. there is no ability to edit Document 3. The user cannot edit a document using the same vendor each month. 4. cannot upload into our accounting system.

I can not think of any.

*Since there are many fields to complete, inputting all the contract details requires a lot of time.
*The link that forwards the contracts has an expiration date that could be forgotten when one is on leave.

*Automated system to enable us to keep track of all company and large documents that require to be renewed and reviewed over time.
*It is also solving the problem of having a convenient calendar that alerts our team members about contracts which they need to really focus their energy on to continue with for the sales and overall growth of the business.

**What do you like best about Contract Logix?**

Ease of use and ability to customize it to our contracts.  We are able to have different fields based on the type of contract.  Also ease of running reports. The Customer Support is great.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

If we want to change the drop down for a field, we cannot revise the drop down list, we can only add to it.  If the the drop down is revised, all of the information in the records changes to random numbers.

It helps us track and maintain our agreements.  It helps us run reports for others in the company regarding our contracts.

Contract Logix provides an easy to navigate system to house all contracts and manage the contract process from start to finish.

When a request is 'rejected', there is not an easy way to modify the information requested and resubmit.  You have to enter information in all over again which is annoying.  I would like an option other than reject.

This program shows all required fields and inputs when uploading a contract. The "Contract Viewer" allows for easy sorting of the different types of contracts and exporting to pdf/excel is very helpful!

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

Contract Logix has experienced bugs where the screen freezes and refreshing the browser, looses all progress when uploading a contract. Also saving before uploading documents can mitigate this issue.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This sstem helps keep our contracts in order and sends email reminders when contracts are about to expire. It has a good system for tracking the type and expiration of each contract.

I like the detail page for individual contracts where we can create a table for useful information for contracts like minimums and royalty fees. The customer service team is amazing and they are working really hard to improve the application.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

The contracts home page filter option can be improved. Currently, software does filter based on selected filtering option. Instead of selecting any filter option software should automatically show the filtered results based on a matching character when a user is typing in search bar.

Its keeping all the contracts in one place. The whole team can access contracts easily. We can see the status of contracts and create tables for minimums and royalties.

It is very helpful that all requests can be sumbitted in one system, tracked and that you can generate contracts from there. It has saved so much time!

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

It was extremely time consuming setting up the system. It is not difficult to do but would suggest you have mutliple people on your team helping to split up the tasks. Also found that setting up the features in the back end requires and lot of navigating to different areas. Feel this could be improved.

I have managed all my contracts manually over the past two years so this has made my role so much more efficent, saving so much time and ensuring I am not missing important deadlines.

Interface of Contract Logix (CLX) is not intuitive and user friendly at first, but fairly straightforward once you get trained.  CLX helps to organize our documents and is easy to program, adjust, and implement the various entries related to each document. I use CLX multiple times per day, every day.

Interface is very "busy" and utilitarian, not the most user friendly or intuitive if you have not been trained.

Manages our contracts from request through full execution, and afterwards as a database.

Database is easy to use; we like the way the information is laid out.

Reporting is not as robust as we would like it to be (e.g. will not report out on all fields). Also, do not like how payment works where you need to pay a license for each individual read-only user. That ends up costing a lot when you work for a big corporation.

Although parts of the managent system are not intuitive, the customer support is excellent. Any time I or a memeber of my team has questions or issues, the CLX team is ready and availible to provide clarity and troubleshoot system issues.

**What do you dislike about Contract Logix?**

The downside to CLX is the amount of time and practice it takes to truly get to know the platform. There are parts of it that can be very confusing and initially may not seem to be user friendly.

**What problems is Contract Logix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract Logix is solving our document integrity issue. The software provides excellent version control as well as document generate from standard templates that our company uses. By using Contract Logix, we are better able ensure continuity across documents and keep our teams organized.
