Proctor is Constructor Tech's online proctoring solution for higher education institutions, certification centers, and EdTech companies running high-stakes or large-scale exams. It supports AI-automated, live, and post-review proctoring modes and integrates with 30+ LMS platforms, with a white-label option and an SDK for organisations that want to embed proctoring directly into their own products. Exam monitoring uses biometric identity verification, face detection and gaze tracking, voice and speech recognition, and device detection — including phones and headphones as unauthorized devices. The secure browser controls processes, VMs, and connected devices during exams and detects screen mirroring, connected USB devices, and mouse focus. Side-view camera and smartphone support gives proctors fuller visibility into test-taker activity. The platform handles up to 5,000 concurrent exams, supports up to 150 test-takers per live proctor, and places no limit on exam duration. Localization is available in 25+ languages across 50+ countries. Data can be processed and stored in any region or private cloud, with the option to keep data entirely within a controlled customer environment. Proctor is GDPR compliant, with ISO 27001 certification in progress and regular penetration testing. For institutions running in-person exams, classroom lockdown mode is supported without requiring video recording.
