Colossyan Creator Reviews & Product Details

I really appreciate that Colossyan Creator's website doesn't shut down on me and it saves my information constantly, without overburdening my tablet. The conversation mode is great for my podcast-style AI videos, letting me put multiple avatars in the same scene with natural eye contact and reactions. The Business plan is a great value with unlimited minutes and instant custom avatars, which is huge for consistency. Support is responsive, and features like text overlays and custom backgrounds work great. It's been a much better experience than HeyGen, especially since it doesn't crash and meets my needs without any hidden fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Learning Colossyan Creator was a bit difficult since I’m new to this kind of work. The AI assistance was sometimes confusing and not satisfactory, especially when adding emotions to the script. The help menu wasn’t very detailed, leaving me to search Google and other sources for answers. Using the app on a tablet is tricky, sometimes things don’t show up as they should, and there are occasional glitches. I wish there was a gesture menu with a complete list of options. When publishing videos, I noticed unwanted black blocks behind my avatars that didn't appear during preview, which isn't a great look. The selection of voices wasn’t quite extensive or descriptive enough for my needs, and I might need a voice editing tool to get what I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of use of Colossyan Creator. I find it very easy to set up, and being able to plug a PowerPoint into the software, pick an avatar, and have it create the video for me is incredibly convenient. It fits great with my LMS system, Digital Chalk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone who grew up using VHS for training videos, I appreciate technology that doesn’t make me feel like I need a degree in computer science to use it. Colossyan is refreshingly simple.

The platform is clean, intuitive, and doesn’t bombard you with unnecessary bells and whistles. It does what it says it will do—and does it well. Whether you’re using it for onboarding video's, training content or marketing material, it fits right in without making you feel like you’re chasing trends.

Bottom line: If you want something that produces usable content without the drama, Colossyan is a great choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm not suited to fully answer this question as I've only used it to create one video. With that being said, no initial "dislikes" to comment on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Colossyan Creator to create custom branded talking images, and I appreciate how it enables my branded images to talk. One of the features I like most is the lip sync and motion, which work very well. The software overall is very effective, and its initial setup is very easy, allowing for a smooth integration into my workflow. The ease of use and the capability to work seamlessly with other tools enhance the overall efficiency. I am very satisfied with Colossyan Creator, which is evident by my willingness to recommend it highly, with a score of 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not found a feature that I do not like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use, very intuitive UI - created 1st video from a presentation in minutes. It generated a 2 minute video in about 5 minutes - quicker than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No option to Apply Avatar setting changes to an entire sequence, only the current scenes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Colossyan makes it easy to turn a single script into engaging videos featuring realistic, expressive AI avatars and voices that sound natural. By combining text-to-video conversion with instant auto-translation, it significantly cuts down the time and costs usually involved in expanding training, onboarding, and internal communications in different organizational settings. The platform delivers professional results quickly and is straightforward to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While the core functionality is excellent and the avatar quality is truly top-tier, I have noticed that the platform sometimes lacks fine-grained control over performance nuances. Aside from this, it remains a great platform overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it was easy to use and create a video after uploading a power point I had used for training. It is nice to break up my trainings so that staff do not just have to listen to me speak for hours. I love the ability to upload and utilize my own pictures for the videos. I have only been using the trial version, so I am sure with the paid version there are additional scenarios, avatars and images available. I also like the idea of getting information to patrons/customers in a digital video format. I think it is so much more effective in getting information to people when they can watch a fun video instead of reading a long description or having to read a lot of information. I have tried other options out there and I found the AI suggestions for editing my script to be super helpful and it came up with a great script. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I did have some issues with playback where the screen kept freezing while I was watching it. I also tried to use the free account to create a sample video, but I guess that I hit preview too many times and it would no longer let me preview the free video without paying for a subscription. Every time I changed or updated something I wanted to see the end result but would find more minor things to change, but apparently you can only do that so many times without it pushing you to pay for a subscription. I also think the pricing is a little out of my range as I work for a non-profit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ive used other AI video generation tools before. Where Colossyan shines is in its ability to consume a PDF and then generate a video with an avatar where the speaking points are broken down into presentation slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is nothing I dislike about Colossyan Creator. It could use some enhancements in the voice-over area where the user selects from its library of avatars, languages and accents. The avatars still do not completely provide lifelike body and hand movements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

easy and user friendly to create video. Great support. Features are sufficient to create training video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thai language not 100% correct pronunciation need to adjust a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our team uses Collosyan on many of our projects and were most interested in the conversation elements of the avatars. We are able to use this to address our sales content much easier. Implementing the tool was very easy, and the support has been helpful along each step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is not a complete and robust tool, and there feels like there is space to add more. I'd like the editing of the tool to also be a little more obvious to use. I think they were going for simplicity which is a good thing, but for users who seek more advanced functionality, this might be a little frustrating. Pricing is also very high, which does not suit everyone! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
