It’s very easy to build a portal using Airtable and CollabPortals. The performance is fast, and the design is responsive. The learning curve is short, so I was able to get up and running quickly. CollabPortals is a powerful platform that’s also very simple to use. I especially appreciate the level of granularity it offers. For my purposes, I needed a setup where individuals could enter certain data while other information stayed view-only (or even hidden), and I also needed the flexibility to adjust those settings from time to time. CollabPortals makes that easy with a straightforward toggle option.

The integration with Airtable works perfectly. I can change the app’s functionality simply by editing my Airtable, which is exactly what I was looking for. Since launching the app, it has worked flawlessly. I use it to gather and share information with college students, and I haven’t had any issues with users accessing their information or completing the tasks I need them to do.

Before CollabPortals, I was using another product that was beyond my budget, but it was the option I had chosen at the time. CollabPortals is well within my budget and does exactly what I need in a much simpler process. The app was easy to set up, and whenever I had questions, they were answered quickly through email or video conferencing.

The only pain point I’ve run into is needing to structure my Airtable in a way that makes the platform do what I want. If I had created my Airtable bases before using CollabPortals, I would have set them up differently from the start. As it is, I’m now retrofitting my existing Airtable setup to fit. I like the fantastic support from CollabPortals, with fast response times and smooth solutions to roadblocks. The suggestions for improvements are really helpful; the site offers possible solutions with pros and cons, ensuring that even if a client is stuck, they have options. The ease of use in building dashboards is another thing I enjoy, as it makes managing user dashboards effortless. I also appreciate the very clean UX, which solves the problem of heavy data processing, uploading, and managing documents effectively. New features keep being added, which is a plus. I think the role-based permission system is very good. I like that you can display different screens for different roles such as applicants for approval, members, or administrators using the same reservation table, point history table, or membership fee table. I believe that even if the number of members increases, the workload will not increase significantly. Also, the support is good, especially Matt's responses are commendable.
