CollabPortals is a lightweight client portal and no-code app builder that turns an Airtable base into a branded, permissioned portal for end users. Admins connect Airtable via OAuth, choose which tables and fields to expose, set row-level and field-level permissions, and share a portal URL with users who sign in without needing an Airtable account of their own.
CollabPortals is built for small teams, nonprofits, membership organisations, and operators who already run their data in Airtable and need to give customers, members, volunteers, partners, or suppliers a safe, branded way to interact with that data. It is an Airtable-native alternative to tools like Softr, Noloco, Stacker, and Jet Admin, with no data sync, no duplicate source of truth, and no per-seat Airtable licensing for end users.
Common use cases include:
- Member portals for associations, clubs, and communities, where members update their own profile and browse member-only directories.
- Volunteer coordination portals, where volunteers sign up for shifts and update availability without touching the internal Airtable base.
- Supplier and partner portals, where external collaborators submit and edit records inside a controlled slice of the admin's data.
- Client dashboards, where customers view project status, invoices, or orders pulled from Airtable in real time.
- Event and programme portals, where attendees or participants register, update their details, and interact with schedules.
Every portal runs on the live Airtable base. There is no ETL, no overnight sync, and no second database to maintain. Admins keep their existing Airtable workflows, automations, and views, while end users only see the tables, fields, and rows the admin has explicitly exposed.
Portals are brandable with the admin's logo. Field-level and row-level permissions support multi-tenant setups, where different user groups see different slices of the same base. Setup takes minutes: connect Airtable, pick tables, set permissions, publish.
