Who is Coast pricing best suited for?

Coast's pricing is best suited for small businesses and mid-market companies operating vehicle fleets, particularly in construction, automotive, utilities, transportation, and facilities services. G2 reviewers from small businesses with fewer than 50 employees consistently praise Coast's per-active-user pricing as accessible and scalable for multi-driver fleets. Mid-market reviewers managing 50 to 1,000 employees highlight value in Samsara and QuickBooks integrations alongside spending controls. Enterprise construction firms also appear in G2 reviews of Coast, leveraging advanced theft detection and Samsara GPS cross-referencing. Coast's pricing structure rewards fleet-dependent businesses where per-driver accountability, fraud prevention, and real-time spend visibility directly reduce operational costs.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Coast?

According to G2's pricing data for Coast, there is no free version of Coast. Coast's pricing starts at a single flat tier of $4.00 per active user per month, covering customizable card controls by vehicle and driver, real-time expense visibility, and integrations with telematics, fleet management, and accounting tools. G2 data on Coast indicates enterprise buyers can request custom quotes beyond this standard tier. The per-active-user model means businesses only pay for users actively transacting, which G2 reviewers in construction and utilities highlight as a transparent, fee-free structure compared to prior fleet card providers.

Is Coast considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers overwhelmingly rate Coast at 5.0/5, signaling strong value at $4.00 per active user per month. Reviewers across small business and mid-market segments in construction, automotive, and utilities consistently cite fraud prevention, real-time transaction visibility, customizable card controls, and QuickBooks integration as features that justify the cost. G2 reviews of Coast frequently mention cash back rebates offsetting monthly fees, with one reviewer noting rebates help pay user fees directly. Reviewers switching from competitors like Comdata and WEX cite better fraud controls and broader acceptance. Minor concerns include rebate amounts and card delivery speed, but these rarely affect overall value sentiment.

What do you like best about Coast?

I really like that with Coast, I can see who is using the card and how often. This feature allows us to effectively track how much each employee is spending, which is super helpful. Additionally, the initial setup of Coast was very easy, and I appreciate that. We also use the gas price checker that works well alongside Coast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cash Back and Cheaper Gas with Incentives"

What do you like best about Coast?

I like that we get cash back through certain gas stations, that helps to pay our monthly fees for users. We get slightly less expensive gas, and don't have to pay to use the cards! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The website could be less confusing, but compared to other gas card websites we have used in the past, it is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
