Is CMiC Platform free, or does it offer a free trial?

Who is CMiC Platform pricing best suited for?

CMiC Platform's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise construction firms with complex, multi-department operations. G2 reviewers from the construction industry dominate the review base, with mid-market companies representing the largest segment. These organizations benefit most from CMiC Platform's unified handling of job costing, payroll, project management, and financials. Enterprise reviewers highlight its strength across multi-entity, multi-project environments. G2 reviews of CMiC Platform also show adoption in civil engineering, accounting, and consulting. Smaller construction firms can benefit, though several small business reviewers cite steep implementation complexity and customization costs as friction points, suggesting CMiC Platform's pricing delivers strongest ROI at mid-market scale and above.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of CMiC Platform?

G2's pricing data for CMiC Platform shows no free tier or free trial offering. CMiC Platform operates exclusively on custom enterprise quotes with no publicly listed pricing tiers. According to G2 reviewers, access to certain capabilities such as API integrations for specific modules requires separate payment, and customization work is billed additionally. One mid-market reviewer specifically flagged paying separately to unlock APIs across different modules as a significant frustration. CMiC Platform's pricing structure is entirely negotiated, meaning all feature access, module licensing, deployment options, and support levels are determined through direct vendor engagement rather than through self-serve tier selection.

Is CMiC Platform considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers present a mixed but generally positive value assessment of CMiC Platform's pricing. High-rating reviewers, particularly in construction, consistently cite the all-in-one integration of accounting, project management, payroll, and field operations as strong justification for the cost. One small business reviewer explicitly called CMiC Platform's pricing competitive and affordable. However, notable concerns emerge: one mid-market reviewer flagged charges just to assess customization needs, another cited expensive API unlocks per module, and a long-tenured user noted annual support fees increasing yearly. A restaurant-industry reviewer reported a $4,000 quote to add two columns to a report. CMiC Platform delivers strong value for construction-focused firms that fully utilize its depth, but cost concerns around customization and add-ons are recurring.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?

I use CMiC for all things related to Webcor. I love the ease of CMiC. It feels easy to use and navigate through. The key benefit is having one database in place to track all of the company's projects. CMiC tracks invoices, insurance, contracts, costs, so much information all in one system. I use CMiC ADF and CMiC project management portal. The integration with Textura is great. CMiC is easy and straightforward to learn, and I love using CMiC. It is a great database that holds great financial history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?

CMiC Platform does not have expense cost tracking, so we have to use Concur for tracking employee credit card transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CMiC Platform?

I like that the CMiC Platform isn't owned by Procore or Trimble. I also value the invoice approvals feature, which I use frequently because I'm on the internal approval path for a couple of different things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CMiC Platform?

The fact that we have to pay separately to unlock APIs for different module is the worst part of CMiC. It took a long time to roll out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
