After using three different hosting services, Cloudways delivered the fastest PageSpeed results I've ever achieved. The Breeze caching plugin (included) and CloudFlare integration are great performance boosts that don't require you to install extra plugins or write extra code on Wordpress configuration files.

The Git implementation is slightly flaky, but that's fine once you know! The issue being that, if you deploy from Git using their dashboard, it doesn't delete on the server files or folders that are no longer in the repo. This caused me a good deal of head scratching until I realised what was happening and now, if there's an issue, I just go in and delete manually. If that's a problem then just use DeployHQ instead. The 24/7 support that Cloudways offer is second to none - any issue or question I have is answered so promptly and their support always ensure you know exactly whats going on to further upskill you. We have been a client of WPEngine for many years, but we were experiencing performance issues as we were on a shared server. The migration plugin offered by Cloudways really helped streamline the process in migrating our sites over with minimal difficulties. The dashboard is not as intuitive and cleanly organized like WPEngine. We've found it a bit difficult to find what we were looking for right away. Everything. They would threaten to take our site down for non-payment, except the payment dashboard did not function properly. It was missing critical fields, like where to add credit card info to submit payment. The "support team" literally would argue and send the same steps over and over, but the payment page never appeared. The best part? They were charging my Paypal account, which seemed to be the only way to pay, AND THEN PROCEEDED TO DELETE OUR HOSTING ENVIRONMENT for non-payment. You cannot make this up. We had one site with them. Moving that site from WP Engine was the worst mistake we ever made. There was a DDOS attack on the server and they tried to cover it up and blame it on non-payment. Stay away from this company.
