You can easily spin up a server and install or migrate a WordPress website over onto the platform and be up and running within a day with very little server experience. The layout of the control panel is great, the information provided is exactly what you need and does not contain any bloat information or data. I utilize CloudWays for many websites and have used other hosting companies prior but will not be switching to another provider after using CloudWays - there is no need. Their customer support is perfect, they are quick to respond, know what they are talking about, and will help you with anything that is possible and if it isn't possible they will tell you and explain why - which is great so you know the reasons behind why something might not be possible. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** Very few. The only one that I can think of and ran into was the limitations of types of website applications that you can host. In one instance I set up a new client website on a Cloudways server. Everything was going fine. Then a few hours later they terminated my server without warning. The worst part is they suspend your login - so you can't even login and talk to support. I had to login with a different Cloudways account and ask for support on the account that had been suspended. When I finally got in touch with support they ran around in circles totally clueless and my site was down for hours. I actually had to move my site to a different server altogether so that my site wouldn't have extended downtime. When I asked them what the issue was, they claimed that their system had flagged my account for spam. I was never notified by email, never given an opportunity to respond or take any corrective action. They just terminated my servers. If you host with Cloudways they WILL arbitrarily suspend your account and terminate your servers with no warning. It will not be for any actual violations of their terms of service, or any abuse, but because their idiotic automated system gets triggered over a pattern that is not actually spamming or abuse. They terminate your servers because the Cloudways system is malfunctioning. So your entire business will be sobotaged because Cloudways has a malfunctioning system to detect abuse and spam. If you don't want to destroy your business, NEVER host with Cloudways. It is the worst possible mistake you can ever make. Also, the implementation and integration of domains purchased from any domain registrar are easily incorporated. One of the best parts of Cloudways is that they offer Free of cost SSL to every domain we host with their platform. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** The only dislike about Cloudways is that the control panel they provide to manage hosting is not user-friendly and for a new user it is a bit difficult to manage things. **What problems is Cloudways solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the use of Cloudways platform we can choose any high speed server located at various place as per our requirement and budget and this helps us to boost the speed of our site to a great extent within our budget and as per our choice. ### 31. But it frustrated me how slow it was on a 'cheaper' plan from one of the long standing, market 'leaders' who have developed shocking customer service and charge an add-on for everything. For a small cost, I handed this task to an outsourcer on Upwork for less than $100 (USD) and it was all taken care in a couple of days - the websites I use most are already SO much faster and making edits/content creation much more enjoyable! All up, the cost for this hosting isn't much more and the customer support team are far more efficient and pleasant to deal with. Overall, a great first impression and happy to have made the move :) **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** I wasn't confident using the interface as the language/terminology was completely different to anything I'd seen on previous hosting services. I've used TSOHost (UK) and GoDaddy and felt the back end/cPanel features were very similar on both. But Cloudways was a whole new world which threw me a bit so I outsourced my migration. Basically you get cloud hosting for the priced of shared hosting. Their servers (especially Vultr) are fast, their support is friendly, they include a staging feature even in their cheapest plan and have a top affiliate program. Also, I love the many datacenter locations I can choose from. For small/local business websites, this is a huge plus. In addition, moving WordPress websites over to Cloudways is easy and fast thanks to their migration plugin. From an agency perspective, I also like that they allow my clients to own the accounts with the option of us having full access. I have used Cloudways almost on a daily basis for 5 years now. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** I have sometimes experienced unusual slowness on their DigitalOcean servers especially when the website is under load. However, this seems to be almost not in existance when choosing their Vultr servers. The email accounts (Rackspace) and transactional email (Elastic Email) add-ons are somewhat limiting, but cheap and easy to set up. Depending on the need, it might be best to sign up with third party provider directly. So, not a big deal. Also, I wished they would offer phpMyAdmin instead of their database editor. But when needed, I can install phpMyAdmin on their server. **What problems is Cloudways solving and how is that benefiting you?** They allow my clients to own the hosting account but give me the option to have full access. No extra charge and no credential sharing. Plus, they offer quality hosting at a low price. They also simplify integration with services such as Magento and WordPress when you choose a server provider. The overhead cost is well worth the saved hassle and effort of server administration if you lack the time or skills for that. **What do you dislike about Cloudways?** We've had some issues with a Cloudways' hosted site conflicting with third-party services.
