Cloudways has been helping me run my blog related to automobile industry since January 2026. It’s fast, easy to use dashboard, renders the images optimally within milliseconds.

I have been using Digital Ocean basic server, but surely upgrade to a more powerful server in the future, as the size of the blog grows over time. It’s really amazing to see all the prominent web servers in one dashboard - AWS, Google Cloud, Vultr, Linode, along with Digital Ocean.

When I first heard about Cloudways, I thought of purchasing the domain name along with hosting, but then I found out that Cloudways doesn’t provide domain services. Later, I was in need for the root access of the server, and during talking with the support executive, they told me due to their policies, they cannot share the root access. I have been using DigitalOcean directly for over 6 years. After DO acquired CW, my customer success officer at DO recommended, based on how I use DO, that I should use CW. One thing is the costs: i have ~100 applications. buying pro manager and security for all of them will be 3000 USD. i am hoping they introduce some "agency plan" to give them for lower prices (lower, lower) then the ones they have today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Cloudways handles pricing transparency, along with the flexibility of easily upgradeable servers and the range of tiers that can be tailored to my needs. I really appreciate Cloudways' super easy UI and modern system, which makes managing a large number of websites straightforward. I've been using Cloudways since October 2025, and been effectively managing my business with its DigitalOcean server. I like its ability to provide basic servers for small businesses. Later, they can switch to premium level servers by using its efficient scaling feature, without any interruptions.

Moreover, 2nd best thing is the support. I literally had to contact them multiple times regarding some technical challenges that I faced. They're available 24/7. The dashboard is easy to use, even a person with no experience can understand it very well. It's not complex at all.

Additionally, you get to manage five different types of hosting servers - Digital Ocean, Vultr, Linode, AWS, and Google Cloud.

I'm using Cloudways to host my website, and I really like that they provide on-demand backups and regular backups in every plan. Their support is very good as well. Creating FTP details for a new app takes too much time. When having a lot of apps, it really makes a difference.

Email management could be better - you cannot get an alert when there is an issue with email deliverability, which is inconvenient.
