CloudFuze Migrate Reviews & Product Details

Complete Metadata Retention: Unlike basic transfer tools, CloudFuze perfectly preserves complex metadata such as permissions, timestamps, sharing structures, and version history during large-scale transfers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We had expected that they would migrate the SHARED FOLDER as well, but after discussion we learned it will be handled in a separate migration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We recently used the CloudFuze tool to migrate our Slack messages to Teams, and all channel and DM messages migrated exactly as they should have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ajay and the team should find a way to migrate external users’ messages while keeping only the external users’ names. Right now, those messages are being migrated through the Teams admin account instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is not much to dislike as the CloudFuze team is very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They were super responsive. Every time I’d email them they’d get back to me usually within an hour which was great given the change management component of the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish the Google Migration could have been more comprehensive but I understand that it’s something that’s both an internal and external effort. I had to migrate our BigQuery data which I was under the impression they’d do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate CloudFuze's ability to migrate data between platforms, specifically its feature that allows the transfer of version history and shared links. This capability is valuable because many free tools lack this functionality. However, I would not recommend it because the migration process was very slow and there were many mistakes. Shared links and version history were the only reason we chose the tool, and yet many files were missing this post-migration. When we escalated the issue with Cloudfuze, they told us they saw no problem and they could not support. Highly disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The migration process was painful and slow, taking multiple weeks for only a few hundred gigabytes. There were significant issues with missing version histories during the migration process. Communication was also poor, with overselling of capabilities and later revealing the need for additional API purchases after contract signing. Interactions were primarily over email with delays in response, sometimes losing track of conversations and needing to repeat information. The service was unreliable, leading us to switch to a different migration tool due to mistakes and delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
