## About CloudFence
CloudFence monitors your cloud network like an invisible overhead drone. It studies the normal patterns of how workloads and non-human identities behave, who they talk to, where they send data, what access they actually use, and immediately alerts the moment one starts behaving in an unfamiliar way, blocking suspicious activity before it escalates into an attack. CloudFence then uses the learned behavior to help you scope down wide-open and unused IAM and Security Group access to what's actually needed — without the risk of blocking legitimate access.

**What do you like best about CloudFence?**

CloudFence fills a unique gap in the cloud space. For a long time, getting real visibility into the cloud network and hypervisor layers has been incredibly difficult. CloudFence not only delivers a detailed level of insight in those areas, but also uses traditional AI/ML (NOT LLM) to establish a configuration baseline and perform anomaly detection on network behavior patterns.

They complement this with identity controls for cloud environments that feel especially relevant in the AI era. The result is observability, alerting, and control at the intersection of what identities are permitted to do and what they can actually access over the network.

**What do you dislike about CloudFence?**

There’s nothing in particular that I dislike. They’re still very much an early-stage company, and some of the more robust capabilities are still in development. That said, they take customer feedback directly, incorporate it into their roadmap, and deliver quickly.

**What problems is CloudFence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudFence gives us full visibility into ingress, egress, cross-VPC, and intra-VPC traffic. Paired with details like traffic volume, source and destination reputation, and new senders and receivers, it delivers a much-needed level of real cloud network visibility and alerting.

 ### 2. CloudFence Delivers Real-Time Visibility with Powerful, User-Friendly Security Insights

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about CloudFence?**

CloudFence provides excellent real-time visibility into our network activity, making it easy to understand what's happening across our cloud environment at any given moment. The anomaly detection feature has been particularly valuable, consistently identifying unusual behavior early enough for us to address potential issues before they escalate. The IAM analysis is another strong point, giving us clear insight into permissions and access patterns that has helped strengthen our overall security posture. What stands out most is that all of this functionality comes packaged in a genuinely user-friendly interface, allowing us to get up and running quickly without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about CloudFence?**

Interphase still doesn’t have a dark mode yet.

**What problems is CloudFence solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CloudFence is helping us close the visibility gap we had across our cloud infrastructure. Before using it, spotting unusual activity or unauthorized access meant piecing together logs from multiple sources, which was slow and easy to miss things in. Now we get a centralized, real-time view of network activity, so threats and anomalies are flagged as they happen rather than after the fact. The IAM analysis has also helped us clean up over-permissioned accounts and tighten access controls, reducing our overall attack surface. Altogether, this has cut down the time our team spends investigating incidents and given us much more confidence in our cloud security posture.
