**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 2. Easy to use web-based orthodontic software with interactive Support Forum

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

Cloud9 was our first foray into a cloud-based platform from an in-office server. They successfully integrated three separate offices into one cohesive scheduling mega-base. Many layout components are customizable so that workflow and scheduling preferences can be optimized, including generating letters that can be emailed on the spot. It includes a basic patient reminder system that will email and/or text reminders with an easy once-a-week setup.

The customer service chat function is typically available, and offers support on the fly. I do find it to be a bit of a chore typing and trying to do my other computer work at the same time, but the call-in customer service wait is lengthy, and I find it takes days for the email support to reply. There is an online forum called Club 9 where users can interract and get feedback from other users (from both Drs AND Staff!). It is also a great way to make enhancement requests, and Cloud 9 typically rolls out new features or bug fixes once a month.

One of the big likes is the ease of setting up and maintaining contracts. Payment plans with insurances or multiple payees is simple. It is easy to track receivables on different reports that are available.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

There are small things that I dislike about Cloud9 that are likely to be similar in other cloud-based platforms. We are required to integrate with Global Payments/X-Charge for our credit card processing because it is a very specific integration, especially if you set up monthly autopayments. The fees are not great, and it is dizzying to read through the invoice, but this was the same with our other software.

The document integration is not sophisticated like MS Word or Google Docs. The font and formatting options are very limited.

Adding logos to or customizing statements frequently sent is not an open ability at this time.

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud9 gave our office the ability to manage three separate offices over 2 states with ease. The electronic reminders and ability to text or email new appointments in moments is beneficial to our patients as well. Our images are stored safely off-premisis, so no large storage backups are needed. The ability to access patient charts remotely also helps the doctor or covering assistant triage after-hour emergencies as well.

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

How it's always adding features and improving things for its customers! They listen to what we want/need!

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

I haven't found anything I don't like yet!

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't currently have any issues. I've made some suggestions and they are on the list of possible features to add in the future.

  ### 4. On Cloud 9 with Cloud 9

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krista h. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

Excellent Support and easy to use software

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

You are down when the internet goes down

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud 9 is constantly making upgrades to keep up with technology to help us along the way. For example,we are currently adding online scheduling for new patients.

  ### 5. My Experience with Cloud 9

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Legare D. | Front Desk Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

My favorite part about Cloud 9 so far has to be the staff behind it. The software itself may have its quirks, but every time I run into a problem, the support team is always helpful. I have no experience with a different practice management software, but I have heard from other team members that this is an improvement compared to the last one we used.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

I feel that the reports are very lacking. They seem to pull unrelated information at times. For example, the software considers an appointment marked as "no show" as the patient's last appointment. I also have run into an issue with a baked-in report stating that there were x amount of patients in a certain status while the data miner said that there was a different amount.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloud 9:**

Cloud 9's biggest strength is its ease of access and simplicity. Sometimes I do feel that is a weakness as well. Especially when trying to run complex tasks and reports.

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud 9 has many tools to help ensure that patients always have an appointment. The recall system is simple and easy to manage once you learn to use "data-miner".

  ### 6. Cloud9 Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

I like how easily you can send exam findings, photos, X-Rays, and other treatment notes to referring doctors and patients. Documentation is easy, scheduling is easy, and you can even mass email and text patients directly.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

I dislike that you cannot change dates on New Patient Exams if you need to. Sometimes reports are limited for what you are looking for, but at least you can call support to get one custom created.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloud 9:**

Utilize the tech support team as much as possible! They are incredibly helpful and available 24/7.

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving problems such as mass communications when we need to notify of office hours changing, policies updating, etc. The benefits we have realized is that Cloud9 does everything we need as far as tracking starts, collections, and customizing our schedule template.

  ### 7. Not all the bells 7 whistles I thought I would get!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

C9 is a cloud-based practice management software that used to have the best customer service. In that, if you called them, you would talk to a live person almost immediately. Today you have to call and leave a voice mail message, and maybe they will call you back that day or the next if you are lucky.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

They never call you back promptly when there is a problem; the other thing that is so annoying is that if you are looking for a metrics report on your practice, these do not just come with the cloud-based program, but you have to call them and ask for them to make these reports for you. And their ledgers for patient financing are crazy to understand. If I knew before I bought this what I know now, I would have kept looking.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloud 9:**

You have to pay other third parties to do various other activities such as online forms, as Cloud 9 doesn't have any forms in it. It's basically a scheduler that is cloud-based with the ability to add scanned documents and photos, and X-rays. If you want to send out a blast email, you have to get a third-party vendor. If you're going to send out reminders that go out through the phone lines, you have to get a third-party vendor. We bought Birdeye for online reputation management, which integrates with cloud9, and we can text patients via Birdeye, but not via Cloud9.

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The nice thing about cloud 9 software is that it is paperless, and all of your patient data are on the cloud, which means I can access any patient info from any computer linked to the internet anywhere in the world. This information is helpful when there is a patient emergency outside the office, and I need to see the patient data.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

ONly downside is the internet, if the internet is down so is cloud 9

  ### 9. This software has been amazing for our office. Its been easy to use and very fast!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ashley G. | New Patient Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

The best thing for me about Cloud9 is that it is internet-based and runs a lot faster than our last software.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

Its hard to come up with something that I dislike, but if I have to come up with something the checkout process is a lot of clicks.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloud 9:**

Make the switch now! Don't wait!

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can find out how many new patients we have seen for the month/year with just a few clicks.

  ### 10. Easy to use software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

Cloud 9 is a user friendly software that is easy to learn, even for our new hires, they're able to get started working right away. The cloud9 support is also phenomenal in ensuring anything we cant figure out or are having issues with is thoroughly explained or trouble shot.

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

There are a few features we dont use we wish we could disable just for the sake of cleaning up and decluttering the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Cloud 9:**

Highly recommend using this product to manage your patients records in a secure way

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are easily able to manage our patients records and find whatever we need. It has definitely made the process of looking through and for records much faster and easier.

**What do you like best about Cloud 9?**

That it is cloud based and you can use it anywhere!

**What do you dislike about Cloud 9?**

That anytime out internet is slow or wonky our system goes down as well

**What problems is Cloud 9 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

that the dr can see whatever he needs to while on the go and not in the office
