What I like best about Clockify is its simplicity and ease of use. What I dislike about Clockify is that it feels more focused on basic time tracking than broader project management. I use Clockify for tracking task hours to bill clients and find it incredibly easy to use. The platform was up and running in minutes, which was great. I initially used the free version for about three months and gradually added more features, like automatically adding time for scheduled meetings with clients. The integration with Google Calendar for automatically placing scheduled meetings into Clockify—with the length of time and client name coded—is really convenient. The platform serves as a one-stop solution for tracking my time by client and project effortlessly in the background. Additionally, the simple invoice creation tool saves me a lot of time on billing. Some of the features require purchasing a more expensive version, like rounding up of hours, but Clockify has a minimum of 3 seats required for that, so I have to add two seats I don't need. Also, I have to run reports to see my progress against my targeted hours per week per client and manually compare that to my goals. Honestly, nothing, everything seems excellent to me, from what they offer as a free solution to the cost plans. If I could recommend something, it would be to improve the Android app a bit, it's excellent but it could give me more reports and graphs. I like how organized Clockify is. I can find all the details about my different projects and the time it takes. I can also see how long I worked for the day, for the week, for the month, so that's pretty good. It's very easy and very intuitive to set up. Every time I need to look at something to track times or see how long I worked during the month, I know where to look. This is a straight out of box turnkey solution. Creating new clients and projects is extremely straightforward, which makes it much easier to handle reporting for billing and invoicing.
