No other AI tool has been able to do that that I know of. Being able to standardize and make consistent citations is very helpful. I like the availability of integrations with other programs, even though I have not had chance to use them yet. Performance of processing source documents was pretty quick and didn't run any many issues with that. **What do you dislike about Clearbrief?** The User Interface is a little complicated/busy. I understand that this is sophisticated software, but a seasoned attorney is not going to understand how to make it work. I work with attorneys that can't even handle working MS Word correctly, there's no way they would understand how to do use Clearbrief. I also don't like that you can't share a linked brief outside of the Clearbrief universe (unless I'm not doing something right). Support was a little slow to respond to an email, but it was still within the same day, so I'm not that upset about that. **What problems is Clearbrief solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clearbrief is the solution to having a brief and pointing directly to the evidence. I haven't been able to get other AI tools to do this. They may provide a citation, but only in within their platform, and only in a way that references the document that makes sense to them. Not a universal citation that would be able to be actually used in a brief. ### 2. It saves a great deal of time in my appellate brief writing and helps me identify the best places to cite within factual documents, especially when reviewing hundreds of documents where the same information is presented slightly differently. It's fairly user-friendly, making it easy to get into and play with. **What do you dislike about Clearbrief?** Clearbrief isn't perfect with understanding Maine citations, especially parallel citations, as it thinks they are two separate references. It also puts Maine statutes and state case citations into a table of authorities in an incorrect format, which requires manual correction. The training program is another issue as it is on a set schedule and not on-demand, which was a bit of a downer for me. **What problems is Clearbrief solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Clearbrief for citation checking and creating tables of authorities, saving a great deal of time in writing appellate briefs by quickly identifying the best citation sources within documents. ### 3. I find it incredibly helpful, so much so that I'd rate it a 10 for recommending it to a friend or colleague. **What do you dislike about Clearbrief?** Well I once tried drafting other stuff with it and couldn’t get much use out of it. Anyways 1) being able to pull facts from the record and correlate them with citations to ensure references to the facts are accurate is invaluable. 2) Quickly assembling a TOA saves a ton of time. While not always 100% accurate it is also helpful that ClearBrief flags potential issues with citations so they can be addressed before finalizing a TOA or submitting a brief. **What do you dislike about Clearbrief?** I feel like it could be somewhat more intuitive with its user interface. It's not bad by any means but I feel like it could be set-up with a cleaner interface. I also like that I can use iManage to get source documents. **What do you dislike about Clearbrief?** The ability to link to a source document doesn't feel very user friendly or intuitive, it's a bit clunky to understand how to appropriately link a statement to a portion of a source document, not very user friendly in terms of having flexibility about how a citation to a source document appears, once I've created a timeline and linked factual citations to a source document I want to be able to continue going back to that draft with live links but it seems that doesn't work. I am also still having trouble with the table of authorities generating with no page numbers. **What problems is Clearbrief solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to give me suggestions about where source documents have content that might support something in my draft. If the page numbering in the table of authorities feature is resolved, it would be a great tool to make generating a table of authorities so much faster than the manual process. ### 6.
