Kenna Security: Streamlined excellence in vulnerability management. It redefines simplicity in securing your digital landscape from consolidated dashboards to effortless remediation.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

While Kenna Security boasts commendable features, a few areas warrant attention. Enhancement to the layout can alleviate occasional confusion, optimizing cost-effectiveness to align with the offered functionality.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a one-stop-shop for all security vulnerability issues.

  ### 2. Fix vulnerability with a feather touch and be secured

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajesh K. | Electrical Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Simple and interactive tool that scans through the system to fix vulnerability, in an effective manner and display the reports in a dashboard that is very much user-friendly. Able to customise features Welland is easy to maintain. Proper updates and popups regarding the security and autofixing them.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

At times I get confused on the layout and it is not cost-effective. But for features offered the price is reasonable. Can be made a bit more user-friendly and interactive features could attract more of the customers. The report download takes time and data management is not effective.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to secure the system and fix the general vulnerability that the organisation is exposed to. Good assessment and asset management package.
For an organisation which is exposed to more vulnerability and require continuous protection, I recomend Kenna which is a bit expensive and not that user-friendly comparing competitors, but does the job. Worth the money for the supplies features but for a basic user the features are more.

It helped us centralize all vulnerabilities to get a better view and starting addressing the most critical vulnerabilities first, also correlating the vulnerability score with the asset criticality

  ### 4. great but fdashboard actualisation is taking too long

Lots of detail is included throughout the website. The Dashboard is a good summary as well.

We'd like to see the data closer to real-time as possible.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 7. The "Easy Button" for Security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia K. | Senior Manager, Telecom Contact Center Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Pre-Kenna our teams used to manage vulnerability scanning via multiple spreadsheets (attested/non-attested) and it was a veritable nightmare.
I love Kenna's ease of use, I love the dashboard functionality and the wild card searches and saved filters that I can create and use to keep what's most important to me on the forefront.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

There is a bit of a learning curve with Kenna, but that's par for the course with any new application. What I struggled the most with was knowing exactly how to query in the filter section, but there is a short blurb to tell you how to do it, so I eventually worked it out. If you're like me and expect everything to be intuitive without having to read instructions (haha), just know, that you do have to read some.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kenna is helping us to streamline our vulnerability review and remediation process. It's infinitely helpful to be able to sort by asset and see all vulnerabilities immediately, instead of piece mealing like we did before. This really cuts down on the number of changes we have to be up for.

  ### 8. Kenna Security Platform Review !!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Kenna Security is a very good platform for Vulnerability and Risk Inteliigence that correlates the vulnerability, threat and zero-day date and analyze it with active breaches.

The best part of this platform that I like is-
1. It will give you report based on its inteligence and the date collected. Once you get the report, you can work further towards remediation.
2. Easy to manage once you have good hand on the platform
3. Automates the scanned data and real-time internet breaches /or threat intelligence

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

As a new user, you may experience some difficulty while handling it. You may need to do some research for write queries for the data that you are looking for. As of now, this is the only thing that I don't like.
But this is a time being. Once you are familier with the platform, it is easy to handle.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kenna Security Platform is a great powerful tool which is very much useful to prevent threats, cyber attacks. The platform's dashboard is very much useful for our own analyzation.
You can easily find the actionable items to priotarize the remediation.

I want the ability to apply different permissions levels to different levels of users. Currently, all users with access to make any changes. Additionally, more note-type features.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kenna is solving how we display and distribute our vulnerabilities to our teams. Previously, we had issues with the user's being able to read and understand the content they were ingesting.

Most helpful about Kenna Security is to get awareness about possible vulnerabilities well in time.

Kenna allows our organization to go as granular as techs want, while still giving management the 50,000 foot view they need for effective decisioning.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I believe it is a simple and interactive tool that can list all vulnerabilities on a machine be it a server or a client computer. Easy to browse and informative GUI.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

sometimes the layout gets confusing because each click for resources opens a new browser window and makes me lost in the world of tabs. In general, its a good piece of code.

  ### 28. Kenna helps my organization focus our remediation efforts more effectively

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Having a collated scoring mechanism for our vulnerabilities helps us demonstrate to stakeholders where we are at a risk level overall, instead of scaremongering with a list of critical/high vulns. The additional analysis Kenna does to further dictate areas for us to prioritise, is a massive time saver and provides some great insight

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Sometimes the uploads into the platform are a bit flakey and need to be re-run, also some additional out-of-the-box integrations would be nice, but there are a good amount already

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AYUB I. | Websphere Admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The user interface is well-crafted. The dashboards and visualisations are simple to use and understand. The vulnerability aids are quite useful.
The graphics and ease of usage appeal to me. This is a great tour of the new features. The help centre is well-stocked with everything you'll need to get the most out of the product.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Reporting isn't as simple as it could be. There isn't much to hate, except that explaining the risk elements and stakes to the client can be a little difficult. In addition, when compared to other similar products on the market, it offers less customization.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The workflows are automated, and creating reports takes only a few mouse clicks. Even for the least experienced team members, it is incredibly simple to get started with, despite the fact that it is such a dynamic platform. It is quite precise in weighing vulnerabilities and hazards, which saves a lot of time and effort formerly spent assessing and prioritising threats.

  ### 30. Hot Garbage

**Reviewed by:** Morian E. | Global Director, Threat Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

It uses SAML2 for authentication. At least it is not local authentication.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Pretty much everything. Reporting, lack of integrations for Checkmarx, Orca, Noname, Microsoft Defender vulns, Manage Engine, etc.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is shelfware, I will not renew it unless they fix this before our renewal.

  ### 31. Kenna Security as a tool, Helps us to be on top of patches released for each component/apps we used

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shankar M. | S, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The best one is the Risk Score and its color code against each box/each vulnerability, which helps check the box on priority—an excellent tool to have in each organization.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Only one thing so far - I cannot say it is about the tool. It is about the version of a patch shown to upgrade. It should be in sync with the patches approved by the organization against each operating system.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Definetely an excellent tool to have in all organizations. Go for it.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We keep our operating system and applications up to date without vulnerabilities by keeping the score green. Kenna tool also helps us to understand what kind of vulnerabilities are there in each software.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The tool is great and insightful. It creates custom dashboards based on the criteria that I require. Easy to access and has a lot of unique variations within the tool.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The updates of the vulnerabilities are a little bit slow. The turnarounds to fix them should be faster as some of them will not update until two or three days later.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are creating a database for me to check on all vulnerabilities associated with my environment. The use of dashboards and trend line charts make it easy to consume the information.

  ### 34. Kenna security tool review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I like that each asset has very clearly defined vulnerability points given. The added value of known fixes also helps in mitigating them quite efficiently.
The added scorings on each vulnerability helps to prioritize fixes as well.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Kenna tool is not able to define certain vulnerabilities on the first go. Once I fix one issue on the asset, another hidden issue pops up.
The report refresh time of assets, vulnerabilities, and fixes must be sped up significantly. The updated report is available hours after patch is applied.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Highly recommended as it's one of the best usable products out in the market

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are mitigating the easily exploitable security risks on a daily basis. The benefits are immense in terms that its an one-stop shop for all security related issues and fixes available.

  ### 35. Lots of Data, Hard to Navigate

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I like how it provided the data you want see, however, if you run a large enterprise and you don't have agents tagged correctly it is hard to track items down. I think the hardest part is knowing the best way to remediate these issues.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I dislike the remediation steps. Yes, I could log on to individual agents and upgrade packages but generally updating to a new image would be a better remediation step.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to identify if there are major security holes and when we need to fix them. I think we are good at identifying issues now.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Risk scoring based on actual metrics and not CVSS alone

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The only true downside is this is not a full scanning tool as well

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kenna security helps slice our assets into actionable groups we can share with product teams to make impacts today and without outside assistance

  ### 37. Kenna Security

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed Jad A. | Systems Engineer III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

One of the best sophisticated pieces of software where it allows to view the CVE and patch targets assets.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The Algorithm behind the score is inconsistent. the page is sometimes slow. it crashes often .scanning takes some times. like any other of pieces of software it has its bugs. Always crashes, inaccurate data

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

I advise any company to get it to stay on stop of vulnerabilities . it pays for iteself

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Device and network security. It's a great to have something else to compare results to. Cybersecurity is the next big topic and kenna is key player resolving vulnerabilites. i Highly recommend it

Kenna shows us vulnerabilities and we can fix these easily via the suggestions.

  ### 39. Kenna makes it quite easy to understand where our risks are.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The Kenna system helps us target our efforts towards the computers that require attention to resolve the potential risks Kenna picks up.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

At this point nothing I can think of. Dashboard maybe gets too much, so a simple view for a quick view would be nice.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Kenna makes it easy for us to know where our at-risk computers are, how to target and resolve them, and the standing of our maturity to our peers. This is something really valuable.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are addressing all our at-risk computers, it helps to give us an overall view of our environment.

  ### 40. Good tool for vulnerability management

specially OS patching pendings

  ### 42. Kenna Security Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

It makes the process of identifying which vulnerabilities to focus remediation efforts on very easy through their tailored risk rating score. As it also displays known fixes, it makes the process of involving relevant stakeholders and communicating what steps need to be taken, very efficient.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

There is a certain lack of attention to feature requests that would greatly benefit the platform. Their documentation is also slightly outdated, however, they are fast responding to updating it when issues are brought to their attention.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kenna Security helps us prioritise vulnerabilities and easily categorise the risk rating of different functions of the business through their tagging scheme. As a whole, it is helping us communicate security issues with the wider company with ease.

  ### 43. Comprehensive tool for enterprise vulnerability management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moumita S. | Security Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The vulnerability management module which has the risk score metrics is well aligned to what the company is trying to achieve with regard to the triaging of their security vulnerability.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

The application security side of the Kenna house is still in maturity lebvel 1 with connectors not working as expected. Given the advanced modelling of the VM module would have liked the app sec side to be aligned to the industry standards as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Kenna is an industry standard triaging cum threat intel tool with data visualizations to ease the monitoring and remediation of security vulnerabilities through the enterprise.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to provide the ernterpirse with triaged vulnerability commingled with threat intel such that the real vulnerabilities can be addressed first which has relevance to the real time hackers. If I am not able to provide triaged vulnearbilities the remediation program is not as effective. The risk scroing from Kenna gives a x-factor for which the remediation program can be successful and effective for the busniess.

  ### 44. false positive

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Recreational Facilities and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Vulnerabilities are categorized in severity.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

It mostly shows False positives or the vulnerabilities are already superceeded and still showing as vulnerable

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Best Platform if you want to understand the severity of the vulnerabilities that are likely to be held first.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its shows the asset count based on the severity and helps us to find the fix/solution of the affected valnerabilities

  ### 45. Good

Rest APIs Documentation. Kenna's Security analysis is very good.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Overall UI and usability. I wish if they could improve rest apis further, more automation and integration friendly

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Good product

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data security

  ### 46. Good interface, great integrations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I do like the interface and the enrichment features it has over other vulnerability systems. It factors in things like CVE, CVSS, etc, but if it's not external facing, it adjusts the score down and takes other factors into account. That's really nice.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Little bit of a learning curve and some setup work to get the connectors/integrations working, but other than that, it's a pretty slick system.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a better, more realistic view of vulnerabilities in your ecosystem and not just siloed vulnerabilities.

  ### 47. Consistent Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Consistency in monitoring is extremely important.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Need to be able to drop old vulnerabilities quicker & easier when they are no longer being detected.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring security vulnerabilities and detecting newly defined network weaknesses.

  ### 48. Data Modelling of the Vulnerability side

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumalya G. | S, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I like the vulnerability side of the house for Kenna as it has good filters, and the data modeling is pretty well built, especially about the mapping it does with the source and target attributes. The filters make life very easy for people trying to get a feel of their risk meter.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

There is a lot of improvements that need to be made for the app sec side of Kenna. There are hardly any filters to visualize the data, and the data modeling is incorrect. The connectors don't work as expected. So there is a lot of corrections that need to be made for this module. I'm not too fond of the app sec module. If we can have the data modeling of app sec as the vulnerability side of the house that would be great.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

For organizations that use many tools and want to beef up their vulnerability management program, I would recommend using Kenna security for proper security posture representation so that better decisions can be taken concerning securing the environment.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Triaging flaws is the major one and having the data visualization to people of their security risk posture is also a significant challenge Kenna has solved. Kenna Security has helped our organization a lot in letting the executives know what exactly is going on from host and network level which is helping them to make the right decisions with regard to security going forward.

  ### 49. Kenna feature review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul S. | Sr. Engineer- Software Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I like the comprehensive dashboard, which gives a detailed report of all the features.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

I just started using it and still experimenting with its different features, and till now, I have liked everything.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Kenna provides one of the best comprehensive dashboards to notify the vulnerabilities, which is relatively easy to understand.

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am more likely to view the vulnerabilities against active Internet breaches.

  ### 50. Ain't Nobody Got Time for That!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia K. | Manager, Cisco Contact Center Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

As a company, we used to use spreadsheet and sharepoint methods to handle our threat detection and remediation processes. Moving to Kenna was beneficial in so many ways: 1. we ditched the awful spreadsheets and annoying sharepoint web forms, 2. we had a fast and efficient way to filter and only see our department's devices and their threat ratings. 3. I love that I can flip from tab to tab to see specific and actionable information on what needs to be done to remediate and cuts down on my team having to research the CVE and how to address it. Needless to say I spend less time now than I did before on these tasks but feel a whole lot more secure.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM)?**

Recently my Asset filter list is replete with tags and is making it hard for me to just see my departmental tags, this is an inconvenience and not a deal breaker. I will need to see how to make sure mine appear at the top of the asset filter tag list.

**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM):**

Definitely a great real time threat detection dashboard tool. I am a fan!

**What problems is Cisco Vulnerability Management (formerly Kenna.VM) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem before was that I almost needed an additional head-count just to work with the compliance team within my organization to identify, research, remediate and then follow up with the security compliance team on the results. Now everything is contained in Kenna's cloud platform and because of the CVE definitions and remediations appearing along with the threat score, it helps us cut down on time alotted for compliance-work. In addition, because we can search by asset - we can target several CVEs with one change request - this has saved us loads of time and energy.
