"Streamlined Reporting with Nucleus, Easy Setup!"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

I really appreciate how Nucleus is very useful for reporting purposes, especially in terms of managing vulnerabilities and threat assessments. The ability to schedule reports on a monthly or weekly basis, and even take instant reports, is incredibly beneficial. One of the standout features I absolutely like is the dashboard, which offers options similar to AI, allowing us to schedule reports, apply advanced filters, and quickly retrieve reports. This efficiency is particularly impressive because I can download multiple reports for various programs, which saves a lot of time. The security platform itself is excellent, and I find the dashboard features extremely advanced. It's great for risk prioritization, where I can view risks in terms of their severity—high, critical, medium, or low—and take necessary actions. This makes it very fast and smooth to work with. Additionally, the process of automating tasks is streamlined through dynamic automation frameworks, which includes ticketing and reporting, thus minimizing manual intervention. Overall, I find Nucleus to be a powerful tool that enhances our workflow substantially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

I think it can be improved by integrating with tools such as a pager or XMeter. This would allow immediate remediation of critical vulnerabilities, enhancing the tool's effectiveness in urgent situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use - single view Dashboard and excellent Vulnerability monitoring."
What do you like best about Nucleus?

Vulnerability overview with different classifications.

Filtering by environment and project really helpful.

Interface is easy to work with without much training needed.

Template section to understand different vulnerabilities and CWSS score helpful.

Easy to download the Asset list to various formats like pdf, Excel or CSV. Viewing the details along the report is really handy.

Centralized view of vulnerabilities , compliance.

Integrated with SSO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

Though documentation is good but providing a university/academy classes to use the tool will be really helpful. Especially around customization of the report and integration with enterprise tools.

Preference section some minor enhancements to retain the filters and scope. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

I like that it is easy to use Nucleus. You can create projects to separate prod and non-prod; you can filter by assets (Asset Groups, Asset Types, Business Owner Teams and Support teams). When searching data to input into the "Asset Groups" and other asset fields, you can just type in an owner name and that will search for that text in the whole string. no need to remember the string format or using wild card.

I am a very visual person so I love the colorful clock chart for Project Risk Score and Vulnerabilities By Source bar chart. It allows me to sort with the most vulnerable ones on top. I love the color coding to tell me that red is the most urgent ones.

I also like the main menu is on the left-hand side and it is easy to drill into sub menu.

i like how you can schedule a report or run it on the fly and send out emails.

I also like how you can export tickets into .csv format file and work in MS Excel after the export.

I like the Import History under Data Ingest has the Excel look and feel and it has refresh button at the bottom

I like how we can download the Asset list or report to Excel or CSV format Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

I am still not comfortable with the Search function. maybe i just need more training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Vulnerabilities Are Everywhere"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

In today's application-centric business climate, there is a huge need to aggregate vulnerabilities from your entire organization, not just infrastructure. Nucleus gives you that ability and helps make sense of it all. Without it, you might be spending a lot of time and effort patching the wrong vulnerabilities wasting precious resources and leaving your company in jeopardy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

There is a requirement for security folks to understand the plans, goals and go-to-market strategies of the company they work for to fully understand the vulnerabilities of their organization. This can be a challenge for some folks to do before taking on a solution like Nucleus. This isn't a criticism of Nucleus but there is a step in the process to ensure you get the most out of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Vulnerability Management has never been easier!"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

The Nucleus Automation Engine makes VM workflows seamless. You can "set and forget" your automation rules, and as new data comes in, they are triggered with no manual intervention required.

You can sync assets, ingest vulns, process assets/vulns, notify users and teams through tickets and reports, as well as remove/ignore assets, all automatically! The ability to use regular expressions makes it easy to find common and seemingly uncommon patterns within vulnerability and asset names, allowing you to assign items to different teams through the Automation Engine.

Without regex, dynamic variables, and the Automation Engine, most of these processes would be manual, which is why Nucleus is the best tool for the job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

Out of the box, Nucleus requires a fair amount of setup to create seamless VM workflows. My time spent in the PoC phase was spent learning the ins and outs of the tool, as well as figuring out if our asset/vuln data sources were compatible with Nucleus' connectors.

There are connections that are not compatible due to our companies configuration of certain tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful tool for a centralized view of vulnerabilities and compliance, some issues with large updates"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

The data is very indexed through multiple indexes (axis) making it easy for everyone involved to find their details in a manner that is useful to them. The initial learning curve on how data is organized can take a moment to learn, but once understood is very powerful. Details pulled in alongside reported vulnerabilities and of course the cyber risk score makes it more than just an aggregated dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

The updates seem to take a long processing time, during which time the project dashboard can be inaccurate (more than once, users have seen a "zero" risk score when that isn't the case). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Prioritizing risk into bite size pieces has been a game changer."
What do you like best about Nucleus?

The ability I have to allow different patching teams access to the information that will make the greatest impact with the work that they are doing has been a great experience. The customization in the UI to allow me to do just that is something I have not had experience within other Vulnerability Management tools I have used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

I would like a bit more ability to customize the reporting that I am providing to my Senior Leadership Teams. The out-of-the-box reports are useful, but I would love the freedom to slice and dice the information a bit more to my liking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nucleus is incredibly easy to use. The interface is clean with best user experience!."
What do you like best about Nucleus?

The nucleus dashboard is best, one place for the overall picture!. Easy to download the stats from the dashboard. The project filtering option is very useful to filter the projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

Assets vulnerabilities filtering is a little tedious. currently, this is being worked on to resolve these issues. High risks are not sorted at the top, little difficult to segregate the different environments for the same project!. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"How Nucleus has helped us"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

After using several systems in the past, we have found that the layout in Nucleus is one of the best. The interface is clean and easy to use not only for us, but our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

Reporting. Each time we run a report, it feels like to many steps. Nucleus should have several templates already set up to use, such as total vulns, how many are fixed, etc. Users and leadership want reports and they will not login to review the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice dashboard; needs work on roll-up / drill-down stats"
What do you like best about Nucleus?

I like a dashboard with a single view of my security scans so I can prioritize them correctly. The number of acceptable sources of data is sufficient as well. The way it is represented makes sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

When I click to drill down to a specific metric, the data does not always match. It might be the problem with data setup, but instinctively when you drill down / roll up, the data should match Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
