"Easily Accessible Security with Cisco Duo"
4/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I find Cisco Duo very helpful for security purposes. It's easy to download, install, and configure on both my phone and laptop, which is crucial for me and my colleagues. The app provides excellent double security with codes for accessing sensitive login information, and I appreciate that it doesn't hang and easily provides passwords for secure logins. It's also very secure to use on any network, ensuring my sensitive data is protected wherever I am. This makes it highly recommended for professionals and companies looking for solid security solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

I don't have too many complaints, but I do think having separate tabs for different installations would be helpful. For example, if I have two different emails linked to the app, it would make it easy to figure out which tab is for which account. Other than that, I don't have much to worry about with this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Push Authentication and Flexible MFA with Cisco Duo"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

What stands out most about Cisco Duo is how straightforward it makes the whole authentication process. The push notification system is genuinely effortless. You get a prompt on your phone, tap approve, and you are in. No fumbling around or memorizing codes. For a tool that handles something as critical as access security, it stays completely out of your way during day-to-day use.

The range of authentication methods is also a real plus. Push notifications, one-time passcodes, phone calls, and email-based verification are all available, so teams with different device policies or compliance requirements can find an option that works without forcing everyone into the same workflow.

From an admin side, the management console is clean and not overwhelming. Onboarding new users takes just a few minutes, and the reporting features are useful when you need to pull logs for compliance or audit purposes. It also integrates well with existing infrastructure without needing major changes, which makes deployment a lot smoother than you might expect for an enterprise-grade security tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

The initial setup can feel a bit clunky, especially for less tech-savvy users. The pricing is on the higher end compared to alternatives like Microsoft Authenticator, which can be a hurdle for smaller teams. Occasional outages with the admin console have also been reported, and technical support response times could be faster when issues do come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Security Without Complicating Logins"
4/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

We’ve had a really positive experience using Cisco Duo. What I like most is that it adds a strong layer of security without making the login process feel complicated or frustrating for our users. Once it’s set up, authentication is quick and straightforward, and the mobile app makes approving sign-ins very convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

While I’ve had a positive experience with Cisco Duo overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and configuration can feel a little overwhelming, especially for teams that are new to MFA or have a more complex environment. Some of the administrative settings also take time to understand and navigate. From a user perspective, having to approve authentication requests can occasionally feel like an extra step, particularly when logging in frequently throughout the day. It would also be nice if some of the management features were more straightforward and intuitive. These are relatively minor issues, though, and overall they haven’t had a major impact on our experience with Duo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Access Management, Needs UI Refresh"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I really like Cisco Duo for its super easy UI and how simple it is to navigate. The platform is very responsive to updates, which is a big plus. As an admin, I find setting up and using the risk policies and multifactor authentication incredibly straightforward. This ease of use saves me a lot of time on manual tasks, and I appreciate having everything I’m working on in one clear, unified view. Additionally, the ability to define granular access rules based on user roles, location, IP address, and devices is very useful. Switching to Cisco Duo from Okta was mainly because of its granular level of access control, and I found the initial setup to be quite easy. Plus, it’s very easy to access on my mobile device as well as a variety of other devices, making it a convenient and efficient authentication platform for me. What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

It's a little hard to have some of those features not get updated as often. I don't think the UI has changed much since I first started using it, and it would be cool to see it get some improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Multi-Factor Security with Cisco Duo"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I really appreciate Cisco Duo for its ease of use. It's simple both for end users and admins, especially with the Duo Mobile app which is easily available across platforms. Setting it up is straightforward, and I like how you just authenticate and then it's ready to use. It's also very flexible, offering a variety of authentication options like text messages, changing codes every thirty seconds, mobile calls, and desktop calls. Overall, it's a modern, secure, and versatile multi-factor authentication system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

We haven't really encountered any major issues with Cisco Duo. The only minor problem we face sometimes is connectivity issues on the end user's side, which prevents them from receiving the two-factor authentication prompt. This isn't really a problem with Cisco Duo itself but more about the user's internet connectivity. Once it's deployed and set up, it works fine, and there aren't any specific areas we're unhappy with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and User-Friendly Multifactor Authentication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

I appreciate Cisco Duo for its user-friendly multifactor authentication, adding an extra layer of security without complicating the login process. The push notifications make it simple to log in without needing to remember passwords, and the support for multiple authentication methods offers flexibility for different users and situations. It's reliable for maintaining a balance between security and usability, allowing me to access apps and resources seamlessly. The initial setup was easy, with a straightforward configuration process, and once installed, getting the MFA up and running was quick. The intuitive interface meant there wasn't much of a learning curve, which is great for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

The experience in Cisco Duo can occasionally be affected by network connectivity or delays in receiving notifications. For users who are new, I think the initial setup may require some amount of guidance to be given to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cisco Duo: Easy Deployment, Strong Security, and Straightforward MFA"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

What I like most about Cisco Duo is how easy it is to deploy and manage while still providing strong security controls. The MFA experience is straightforward for end users, and the centralized administration makes it easy to enforce authentication policies across the organization.

I also particularly like the range of authentication options and the ability to integrate Duo with different applications and services. The reporting and visibility into authentication activity are useful for both security monitoring and troubleshooting. Overall, Duo provides a good balance between security, usability, and administrative simplicity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

The main area for improvement is the administrative experience, which can feel somewhat fragmented depending on the features and integrations being used. Some configuration options could also be more intuitive and easier to discover.

There is also room for improvement in reporting and analytics, particularly around providing more detailed, actionable insights without requiring additional configuration or external tools. While Duo is generally reliable, some advanced use cases can require more effort to configure than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, User-Friendly MFA with Fast Push Notifications"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Cisco Duo?

Cisco Duo provides a secure and user-friendly authentication experience. The push notifications are fast and convenient, making it easy to verify logins while adding an important layer of protection for company resources. It is reliable, simple to use, and has minimal impact on daily productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?

While Cisco Duo is generally easy to use, the additional authentication step can occasionally feel repetitive, especially when accessing multiple applications throughout the day. There are also times when mobile push notifications may be delayed due to connectivity issues, which can temporarily slow access to systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
