We use Duo security. It's really easy to use and install and syncs pretty fast with the app (for us VPN) it's connected to. I like you can also use post notification

As IT specialist, I tend to use this app a lot to connect to VPN and it is easy to use but it'll be great if the app could be synchronized with more apps and websites

**What do you like best about Cisco Duo?**
The interface of Duo is very easy to use and understand. It's also handy that you can do push notifications to your phone, smart watch, etc. I use it several times a day when accessing certain websites or logging into VPN, and I never have issues with the app.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
Occasionally, it can take a bit of time for your push notification to come through when verifying your identity. However, this is pretty rare.

**What do you like best about Cisco Duo?**
Two factor logins are essential to modern password security. I like that I don't have to worry about if my password is stolen or hacked. It also allows me to reduce the number of times I have to change my password.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
Duo offers two ways to do two-factor authorization. One is a push notification to the Duo app on your phone, the other is a six-digit passcode generated on the app, which you then enter on the computer. Of these, only the passcode generation works. Despite having an iPhone with notifications turned on for the Duo app, the push option doesn't function.
**What problems is Cisco Duo solving and how is that benefiting you?**
We have a large user base that tends to be somewhat naive when it comes to password security. The acccounts we use must have high security, as required by federal laws surrounding medical and educational privacy.

I like the push code option because it's much easier than having to type in the pass code. The notification pops up at the top of your phone screen and you simply tap "more options" and "approve". Super fast and easy.

I wish that there was a way to approve the push code without having to sign into your phone or click the "more options" button. It's easier to just click things once.
**Recommendations to others considering Cisco Duo:**
Use the push code option! It's faster and easier than the pass code option.

I am solving problems with multifactor logging in! It helps bypass any flaws in the login process and protects user and organization safety.

There are so many things which i like in Duo as MFA protection , 2FA etx . As Duo work seamlessly and will intergrated with all your devices with very ease. Also the customer Support is the best in the market we will get all the soltuion within a give timeframe. I uses Duo security and recommend you to use this Apllication.

There is as such no dislike in this application but as some point we need to do some extra configration which is a bit messy Also if we plan to change the main mobile or phone number it is pretty long process and time consuming.

I think the way of managing the users and easy UI of Duo makes it unique and user friendly. It is one of the best MFA i have used ever.

I think, it they can implement hardware token as well will be added security.

It was first integrated with our infra, during the Covid period when suddenly we all were moved to WFH model. And to bring security of the infra it was added in our enviorment.

I like that duo is easy to set up and easy to use. I like that if you have a problem using it the support team is very knowledgeable and quick to respond. It keeps information locked and secure. Using it multiple times a day if problems verifying with one method there's anyways another feature to help verify you. The integration of this program is perfect.

Fast app and authentication is super fast, recommend for tech teams, has a large amount of features and is easy to integrate and implementation is very simple. We used to use it integrated into admin panel logins for DNS management with a high frequency of use.

There's nothing I dislike about it. Just that it can venture more into introducing more features.

If you're bad at remembering passwords and want to make sure only a bunch of devices are allowed to access your web pages or portals, Duo security makes it way easier with its push notification. All you have to do is register your devices one time and every time you login it will send a push notification to that device. You click on the approved button and there you go. It also has single sign in options to allow one device at a time.

Login Codes can store for up to a week, or you can click the green check to sign in. This is relatively easy and seems pretty secure.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
If you are sent to Duo in the mobile app, the return to previous page (where you were attempting to sign in and then were redireected to Duo) can be hard to click. This may be more related to the apple iphone size of the return button, but I wish it were easier.
I also noticed that Okta verify allows you to verify on a macbook directly by using the touch/biometric sign in. This really simplifies thing, but I'm not sure that it's something Duo offers.

It was a nice tool to access the computer that I used to work, it was a daily task in order to authenticate and use the tools to develope the daily task. Since I was working from home, it was a mandatory step to improve the security and to make sure I will be the only one to be able to access the information.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
The only thing that I dislike was that I felt the process was a little bit long, sometimes the code expired because the computer was old and slow. Also, when I was in a rush to login, it was not the faster authentication application that I have used, however it always worked.

Preventing that anyone can have access to the information, since we have access to the customers sensitive data and we work from home, it was very important keeping this information protected

The best part about Duo in my opinion is the proven track of security compliance backed by the fact that their system literally integrates out of the box with any enterprise software you can imagine. Easy to use and part of the daily routine.

It's easy to set up and connect with other accounts that use it for two-factor. It also gives you the option to remember the device for 30 days, which makes logging in to sites requiring it a lot easier.

If you get a new device (phone, computer, etc.) then you have to call your IT department to get the push notifications, otherwise you have to enter a code each time.

The best part I like is , it is easy to install and integrate.
It gives facilities of notification and enter the code manually.
We can login to duo using saved fingerprint on my device.

As per sucurity perspective it is all good. But I fear in case of urgency if my mobile device is not up or with me at time of login. In that case It would a challenge to login.

I use Duo Security to access my portal and as soon as I login in, the authentification code is sent to my phone. I like the simplicity of it because I only have to click accept. There are different authentication softwares but this one is easy to use.

One thing I disliked about Duo Security is that there were occasional problems with the system that the code wouldn't be sent.

The Duo MFA is an entry-level product, but it is so flexible it has integrations to put MFA into almost any sign-on portal or service on the market. A very simple to follow guided install journey for these services is freely available on the Duo website. Beyond the MFA product, there are several other higher tiers of licenses that build on the excellence of the entry-level service.

There is very little not to like about Duo; so far, I haven't really found anything.
**What problems is Cisco Duo solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Duo has helped us to secure the edge of our network initially, from VPN access through to several Web Portals that are internet-facing. We then expanded Duo's use onto some internal systems where SSO with MFA was required.

It's a decently-functional two-factor authentication app, which is a neccessary component of working with sensistive information.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
The phone app has ceased to function, which means I now need to rely on automated texts or calls in order to log in via Duo. Not the worst thing in the world, but it's a minor annoyance that doesn't need to be one.

My work entails accessing confidential information, including some protected by Federal stautes, so it's a neccessity to have multi-factor authentication on login.

I like that Duo ensures everything work related is safe and secure so I do not have to worry. I like that it gives me updates when I need to make updates. It is easy to use.

The only downsides of Duo Security is getting locked out of applications but that is my pown fault as I need to update my tools more often.

Fast, once I log in on my front app to verify my identity I got a notification on my phone asking for an authenticate log.

A dark theme will be great, ligh theme or default can be a little anoing.

It is easy to configure on any mobile device with a QR. Supports passcodes and push notifications for multi factor authentication.
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
If the mobile device doesn't has an active internet when the push is sent, even if the mobile device gets the internet after 10 secs of sending the push. You won't recieve that push notification or will be able to see it.

Easy and faster multi factor authentication with Duo to access internal infrastructure.

What I love about the Duo app is simplicity. The pop-up feature and one button design makes it much easier to use for multifactor authentication, compared to other solutions I worked with.

Not any on top of my mind, it serves what it suppose to do well.

It is one of the few multifactor authentication solutions accross different orgs. Personally I feel this one is the easiest to use, and the pop-up feature is fairly stable, and could spend minimum time for the authentication.

**What do you like best about Cisco Duo?**
I like that the Duo staff quickly recognize and address the inevitable "holes" cybercriminals find to crash new authentication protections. Case in point, some criminals will send many DUO requests to a user hoping that the user will get irritated and finally accept the push request (this happened at my company). Duo addressed that issue by allowing users to set push notification settings.
Duo also has excellent user education tools and instructions that are quite comprehensive and easy to follow. Our work to notify and educate our users about our change to MFA was made easy since DUO provided the material for us. Well done/professional sort of documents and posters
**What do you dislike about Cisco Duo?**
Nothing, really The problems we have had using DUO are more due to administrative or odd scenarios that DUO cannot address. Case in point, we had a foreign caller saying he was an employee and wanted us to update our records with his new phone number. If we did that without authenticating the user, DUO would have been hacked essentially, since the caller could then authenticate with DUO on his phone. This assumes that the caller has obtained the user credentials via phishing or dark web, which is not difficult to do
**What problems is Cisco Duo solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Protecting all remote access to our systems. since remote access is the norm now.. Easy resolution of user account management problems, which lowers our service desk calls. User education about Security and MFA. An easy to use product like DUO makes switching to more rigorous security and education about why easier. DUO also allows multiple ways of receiving pushes, so our diverse user base/work environments can all use MFA

I like using dúo because it functions so well with apple. I don't even have to open the app to authenticate myself- when I see the motivation I can just hold down on it and approve which saves a little bit of time and I love that cause every other app is much more of a hassle.

I Guess that my least favorite thing... I really CANT think of a thing that I don't like about it I'm sorry
