Checkpoint Cloudguard  Network Security supports both public as well as private cloud. It has different type of licensing BYOL which depends upon number of cores as well as pay as you go model and it will increase the capacity as the size grow.

**What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?**

It is fully dependent upon cloud like AWS and Azure for whose we donot have any access to their infra. We will be vulnerable for the issue they face in their services like last time.

**What problems is Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves our need to increase the firewall capacity during our peak season due to its pay as you go licensing model. It also auto retrieves all the object from its Cloud manager once any object is created in the cloud.

Customer support provided by Check Point vendor is one of the best options to choose this product.

First time implementation for an unexperienced engineer with this product is not good easy. Learning resources are not easy to understand for a junior. Its cost is a drawback feature for a developing country although its product's capabilities is absolutely good.

What I really like about CloudGuard is that is amaizing at finding malware, exploits, and zero-day attacks it’s very trustworthy and actually offers peace of mind. The upside is that you can manage everything from one location, It functions just like the cloud does and It easily integrates within any cloud arrangement.

well, if can be complicated to set up and is really expensive. I found that is not easy to learn how to use it. the downside can be that support is slow or doesn’t go deep enough, especially for complex cloud setups.

During the trial,  We really liked how the dashboard clearly showed the threats, polices without overwhelming the team. The threat prevention engine is very strong and it blocks traffic smartly.

One issue we noticed is that the initial setup feel a bit complex for our team. There are quite few configuration steps and it takes some time to fully understand everything.

CloudGaurd Network Security helped us strengthen our Zero Trust approach by giving us very clear control over which resources can communicate in in our cloud environment. It provides a solid firewall layer and cloud data security. During the trial, it made it much easier to identify risky traffic and block unauthorized access attempts. Overall it was so helpful for our team.

I have been working with cloudguard IAAS solutions on AWS and Azure clouds for 3 years. I can say that it is a very good solution, dploy are easy to do because of the templates, both for architecture with GWLB and external and internal LB that Checkpoint offers. The solution is scalable and reliable, once the deployment is done you don't have to think about anything else. Upgrades are easy to perform as you simply deploy new CG instances and delete old ones.
At the feature level, cloudguards guarantee as for on-prem solutions the maximum for security up to level 7.

it would be useful to have the ability to configure CME high management with a graphical interface, I know the vendor is working on it.

Checkpoint Cloudguard is an incredible cloud security product that is easy to use and offers a single sign-on feature that saves a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?**

I have little use for Check Point CloudGuard Network Security. The product has good features, but they're outweighed by other problems. I can’t customize the settings. TAC team support is insufficient because they just provide templated answers and take a long time to respond. I do not recommend this software.

Check Point CloudGuard Network Security is a complete waste of time. We were told that there were maintenance and licensing costs, but the billing was awful and we also found other hidden fees. We couldn't get a true overview of the expenses involved, and the additional fees and charges are useless.

As a Cloud security engineer I have been using and used many and multiple tool,s, softwares and platforms for the network security, network testing and network analysis, etc. Nowdays experiencing my hands on with check points Cloud security tools for my new cloud Security Analysis projects and this particular tool from Check Point has been proven a most adavanced and most secure platform for the our cloud projects. With features I loved and fan of as below- 
Easy of integration .
Reatl time monitoring.
And ensuring various compliances.

Little bit of learning curve for first time users.

**What do you like best about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?**

First advantage has to be that it supports multiple cloud vendors meaning that we can monitor multiple cloud accounts with one subscription.
IT provides a clean view of the network traffic
It is very capable of isolating the malicious traffic from the regular traffic
It monitors all the traffic to and from the containers including on Prem to cloud environment and vice versa also the connection between the containers
The UI is very clean and easy to understand
Implementation is quite fast

There are not many downsides to the network security module but the logs supported are limited they only support cloud trial logs and vpc logs 
We cannot get end to end traffic view which if present can be more helpful at times

As said earlier the biggest problem we had with other solutions is that they only support native services where as cloud gaurd supports almost all the cloud service providers

These are the points that i find best from my daily use of cloud gaurd
The User Interface is clean and easy to understand
the threat engine works so good 
it has built in predefined log query (filters) that can save lot of manual work  
traffic explorer is really helpful interms providing a breife understanding of the network traffic 
ability to set up custom notifications is very useful
It supports custom rules
easy to integrate 
easy to implement 
great customer support

the logs are limited to cloud trial and VPC logs
although traffic graph is great it is limited we cannot get end to end traffic view.

since we have multiple cloud service providers and 7 different accounts for various applications, it is challenging to keep track of the security compliance of the cloud environment and any security breach starts at network level and is by far the most important part and cloud gaurd greatly helps us to keep track of the security standards.

First thing to highlight about this tool and that has also impressed me is it's easy to installation and integration and set up.
Till now what I have experienced is amazing. Talking and highlighting about the best features or things I personally liked about this tool is it's features about protecting and prevention of our cloud based SFDC lifecycle.
Zero trust refrence architecture is one of them security feature.

Cloudsecurity posture Management,Cloudservice Network Security, Cloud Workload Protetion Platform in a single holistic platform. We like the GSL builder feature. When you're running a security operations center, you spend a lot of time monirong endpotint activity to ensure there is no malicious traffic or anonmymous access on the environment.

**What do you dislike about Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security)?**

The user interface could be improved. Sometimes, the visibility is not immediately available for the environment.  We have the native servers that come with the solutions, but we cannot see them in the Checkpoint log, another issue is with the integrated file monitiring.

**What problems is Check Point Cloud Firewall (formerly CloudGuard Network Security) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our environment includes a hybrid cloud and three public service providers: AWS, Azure, and GCP. CloudGuard enables us to manage all the cloud provides from one dashboard. It enbaled a team approach, so we are more flexible and operationally efficient. The solution provides a holistic view from a single dashboard, making posture management and threat prevention more effective. Detection is not a siginificant challenge, when I block a particular incident, CloudGuard will implement some kind of orevention activity so that those types of activities are prevented automatically in the future. Prevention is more benefical for us.
