I like how quickly ChatGPT understands my questions and gives me practical, easy-to-understand answers. It helps me solve technical problems, learn new concepts and skills, write professional emails, prepare reports, and organize my work. I can ask follow-up questions until I understand something, and it saves me time by making complicated tasks easier. I also value the conversational AI, file and document analysis, image understanding, data analysis, and web search. Being able to upload drawings, PDFs, and Excel files and get useful explanations or solutions is helpful, and having these tools in one place makes my daily work and learning easier and faster. I find ChatGPT versatile and easy to use, and the initial setup was straightforward: I could create an account and get started in a few minutes without special training. Sometimes ChatGPT gives me information that isn’t completely accurate, so I still need to verify important details. I’d like more reliable, up-to-date answers, especially for technical and industry-specific questions. File handling and Excel formatting could be more consistent, and I’d like better accuracy when it analyzes complex engineering drawings and large, multi-page PDF files. It could do a better job identifying components and understanding drawing references, including 2D manufacturing drawings, GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and BOMs. Better support for CAD files, assembly drawings, Excel data, and technical documentation would also help. I’d also like clearer references to drawing and page numbers and specific details so I can verify the results before using them in my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
