## CentreStack Reviews
  ### 1. Enterprise-Grade File Sharing with Full Control and Easy AD Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

The best thing about centre stack platform is its ability to bring enterprise grade file sharing all keeping fully under our own organization control unlike typical cloud storage tools this platform a lose us to host data on our own infrastructure or like even or referred cloud which is a major advantage compliance driven scope also the integration with existing file servers and our active directory Onboarding very easy specifically companies who doesn't want to migrate everything from scratch I also find the remote access feature and secure sharing capabilities are very reliable even for a distributed teams.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

Their user interface though its functional it feels a bit compared to the other newer SaaS platforms out there. There is a bit of learning curve required during their initial setup specifically for teams without it Technical Support handsome advanced configurations like permissions and dark and integrations required a bit of more technical understanding its not play which we can find in other competitor platform in this space.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sentence stock helps us by solving the challenge of handling secure file access and sharing without forcing a complete shift to public cloud platforms. It also enabled us to provide remote access to on-premises file servers and maintain compliance and data security. This also helped in replacing VPN based file access with a smoother experience, enabling external sharing with our internal and external.

  ### 2. A great way to get remote access without the VPN headaches

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thabrash S. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

The best part is honestly just the mapped drive. Our team is used to seeing a 'Z drive' on their computers, and CentreStack lets us keep that same setup even when people are working from home. We didn't have to retrain anyone on how to find their files, and it’s way faster and more stable than the old VPN we used to struggle with.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

The web portal feels a bit dated compared to the desktop app. While the mapped drive works perfectly, whenever I have to log into the web browser to change a setting or share a link, the interface feels a little clunky and takes an extra click or two to find what I’m looking for. It’s not a huge deal, but a UI refresh would be nice.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solved for us was getting rid of our slow VPN. Before CentreStack, everyone had to log into a VPN just to open a simple Word doc, which was slow and constantly disconnected. Now, the files are just 'there' on our computers in a mapped drive. It’s saved us a lot of time and frustration, especially for the team members who aren't very tech-savvy.

  ### 3. CenterStack Review: Secure Cloud Collaboration with Seamless Compatibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

The ability to maintain backward compatibility with existing file servers is a significant advantage. It allows organizations to seamlessly integrate CenterStack into their current infrastructure without disruptive migrations.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

In some instances, the platform's performance may be affected by factors such as large file sizes or slow internet connections, leading to potential delays in file syncing and access.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CenterStack presents a compelling solution for businesses seeking secure cloud collaboration while preserving compatibility with their existing systems. With a focus on data security, powerful collaboration features, and centralized management, it effectively addresses the challenges organizations face in modernizing their file sharing and collaboration workflows. Though it may have some minor areas for improvement, CenterStack proves to be a valuable asset in the realm of cloud-based file management.

Provide a large number of AI tools to the developed program that ensures the accuracy of its CRM form, execute its graphical interface in seconds.

Manage versatility of approach in worked projects. It is implemented in the development of appropriate new technologies. It lacks a bit of speed in its collection of informative data, but it allows for execution with precision.

It was based on data collection for precision execution in the projects carried out of a security interface in development. Work implemented a large part of passive managements.

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2022

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

It works as a team shared storage, although without problems

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

Other than a lot of maintenance and rebuilding the client cache. Their billing is very concerning as Gladinet overcharged our company accounts by thousands of $$

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's mainly used as an alternative to other cloud services if you're willing to deal with the problems it has

  ### 6. Excellent file server collaboration tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourav C. | Business Sales Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

The best thing about CentreStack is it provides both high security to the file servers and also cloud mobilisation capabilities. This makes it an ideal candidate for file collaboration software for any large organisation spread across multiple geographic locations.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

Though CentreStack is a great tool for file collaboration and sharing with great security promises, I feel a bit of snag when more than certain number of people tries to access the same document simultaneously.

**Recommendations to others considering CentreStack:**

I highly recommended this software to anyone looking for a good cloud based file collaboration software.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CentreStack has helped us making a global shared library of all our documents and also helps in properly organising them. Apart from high security, the role based access feature helps us share appropriate file on only need to know policy.

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

The multi tenancy is nice for MSP, the pricing is good and we the ability to control permissions on the dashboard. They have two opens self hosted and hosted. Gives good options on back up

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

Setting up is very convoluted, the steps are not straightforward, no easy setup by step, the download software isn't logical in setup, uploading is very slow so if you're in a rush this is not your solution. 709Gb estimated 4805 hours I was contacted to a 1GB fiber line. When I contact support they said there's no alternative to upload.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tried to bring my clients a file and share sync system but due to the poor software and upload options I have to find a new cloud partner.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can Cloud Content Providers be used in Higher Education space in a secured manner for Teacher/student interactions?

  ### 12. Best way to "cloudify" file servers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo I. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

We were looking for a way to migrate our file servers to "the cloud", replacing our VPN access to them, but we also wanted to keep our files locally, as a safety precaution. We are not comfortable with the "cloud only" system of Google, Microsoft, and others.
We researched the marketplace to find a good fit for our needs. During this process, we tested Egnyte, Zoho Workdrive, Amazon WorkDocs, Microsoft 365, and a couple of others. None of them provided a satisfactory way of allowing us to work as we wanted to. As an example (among many), Amazon WorkDocs failed during the initial upload of documents from our file servers. Finally, we found CentreStack, a little-known provider we had never heard about. We tested it and found that it actually worked. The initial upload of files took a while but we were able to continue working seamlessly with our files. After the initial upload, we are working with our files on the cloud (their servers) but everything is synced back to our local file servers too. In an emergency, (loss of Internet connection, etc.) we are still able to access our local files on our own servers.
As an additional advantage, CentreStack provides a client (available for Windows and Mac OS) which creates a mapped drive with all the files each user has access to. So the switch from working on a local file server to working with CentreStack is pretty much transparent to the end user.
We have now been using CentreStack for a year and are very happy with it. It hasn't been without issues, but their support team is excellent. Both response time and resolution of issues are very good.

In short here are some pros of CentreStack:
- Great way of migrating file servers to the cloud, but keeping a local copy
- Competitive Pricing
- The mapped drive is very user-friendly
- Excellent support
- Speed is great (it builds a local cache of files and folders)
- Folder structures don't need to be modified to use it
- Granularity of user permissions is excellent
- Synchronization between the cloud and local file servers works without issues
- It has a file-sharing feature, which allows you to share files with external users (replacing services like WeTransfer, etc.)
- It has a smartphone app, so you can access, and work on, your files on your phone

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

CentreStack isn't perfect, it does have some issues.

These are the cons of using it:
- It's a little-known and relatively small company
- User Interface is quite lacking. It's not very user-friendly, particularly the web interface
- The File-sharing feature isn't adequate for all use cases

**Recommendations to others considering CentreStack:**

Do consider them if their products fit your business needs, even though they are not as well known as other companies

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to replace the VPN access to our file servers with their cloud solution. It works for both onsite and, especially, offsite collaborators.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

CentreStack allows me to access my files from anywhere, whether at home, at the office, or traveling on the road. It's secure and easy to use for even someone who doesn't really know what they're doing when it comes to maintaining files and using the cloud.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

While CentreStack is awesome, it can also be very slow and buggy at times. This can get frustrating when I'm needing to access a file quickly. It also sometimes logs me out randomly and is a pain to re-access the software.

**Recommendations to others considering CentreStack:**

I would definitely recommend this software. It's positive qualities far outweigh it's negative qualities and the occasional slow day or having to log back in is definitely worth the ease of use and access to files from anywhere!

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CentreStack has made it to where we don't have to worry about maintaining a server, which also makes it easier to troubleshoot when problems do occur. CentreStack has been beneficial in allowing remote employees to access all necessary files as well, which was an issue before. As we move towards having more work from home employees software like this will be integral in the workforce.

  ### 20. CentreStack - A worthy file collaboration competitor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe C. | An Excellent, Simple, and Affordable Imaging Solution, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2018

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

CentreStack offers flexibility and control over file sharing and collaboration that is beyond even some of the big names like OneDrive or DropBox.

It's ability to use existing on-premise NTFS file shares and at the same time utilize cloud storage from major providers is very flexible.

It's also great that it offers hosted and self-hosted options, as well as full re-branding of the product. It's very MSP friendly. Pricing is very competitive with a low buy in threshold.

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

It's name and reputation is not well known by customers.

It's GUI feels a bit legacy, not terrible, but it could use a refresh.

Initial load times on the web interface are a bit slow.

**Recommendations to others considering CentreStack:**

I believe there is a cloud hosted trial version which should definitely check out. It has features that even the big names are missing like OneDrive and DropBox. The minimal license requirement makes it easy to get on board with, and the pricing is very competitive.

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CentreStack every day. Our team is highly mobile and it's essential to our operations to share and collaborate on files. We also resell CentreStack to clients, allowing them to very easily spin up robust and fully features file share and collaboration tool sets on premise or in the cloud.

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Cashier, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2018

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

I love love love how it Lets you upload/download folder structures, so your files will be backed up in archives that are identical to that of the original

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

I don't like how if you only have the free version it only lets you synchronize your Google Docs account, so if you want to manage/backup multiple cloud storage accounts you need to upgrade to the Pro version

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

fashionable clothing are a problem its simply the advantage that you realize how ..... You have to identify the benefits and risks.

  ### 22. Fantastic Alternative to other cloud storage solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2018

**What do you like best about CentreStack?**

The best thing for us is that the app just works, unlike other big products such as one drive for business and Dropbox where the app seems to be stuck either uploading or downloading.

The application looks great, looks exactly like a shared/external drive within windows/mac.

The mobile is also very clean an minimalist

The costs per GB is so very small

Product provides you with indefinite backup of files (ie we can recover files from years ago)

**What do you dislike about CentreStack?**

There are some features that you would expect of an enterprise level product which this does not have:

Ability to copy user accounts and permission

Getting Reports on who has access to what file/folder

User account lockout/expiry (for main accounts, this feature does work for guest accounts)

**Recommendations to others considering CentreStack:**

This is the best priced cloud storage application on the market.

Has a myriad of features other enterprise products lack

Is very competitive in regards to pricing.

Very easy to setup and use (plenty of articles online)

**What problems is CentreStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removing onsite storage and all the issues that come with it (security/health)
Allowing clients to be more efficient as they can now access their data anywhere as long as they have an internet connection
