CCleaner is a program that simplifies and optimizes system cleaning. With CCleaner, unnecessary files are easily removed. The tool is simple to use. There are no complicated steps to follow when using CCleaner to clean, optimize, and manage startup items. Additionally, the tool is regularly updated. It keeps up with changes in the computer system. It is a helpful tool for maintaining a computer's speed. It doesn't need technical expertise.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

The free version doesn't have as many features as the paid version, so there are a few alerts and prompts that are repeated or not necessary. Some cleaning actions would need to be manually reviewed so as not to remove important files. Every once in a while, an update would change something in the interface that was odd. Generally speaking, it works well, but these petty annoyances pop up every now and then.

CCleaner removes clutter that slows down computers. The tool removes unnecessary files, which is an efficient way to free up storage. **What do you like best about CCleaner?**

What I like most about CCleaner is that it is easy to use and does what it promises without complications. I open it, click a couple of things, and the PC immediately runs a bit better, especially when it's slow or full of unnecessary stuff. Very convenient because it fixes registry keys and gives the option to uninstall apps that aren't in the control panel. It's very reliable, and my company is trying to implement the pro version.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

The thing I didn't like about CCleaner is that when you clean unwanted files like cache, cookies, etc., you click on delete but it gives you back, for example, 1 GB of used space between cookies and temporary files, then it asks you twice why? Resolve this, it doesn't give a sense of reliability. There are many other open-source programs that do what CCleaner does even 10 times better.

**What problems is CCleaner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problem of the PC that over time becomes slow and full of useless stuff. I open it, do a cleanup, and off we go, without wasting time. Afterwards, it runs better and I don't have to do everything manually.

The only thing I dislike about Ccleaner is that it's not user-friendly for beginners. If it's not used carefully, it can remove files needed by specific applications and lead to functionality issues. Although it can help with privacy protection, it doesn't guarantee security as an antivirus software.

I use CCleaner weekly for clean-ups. It is part of my system maintenance routine to keep my PC optimized and running smoothly. While troubleshooting software, managing and uninstalling applications using CCleaner helps isolate complex software or conflicting dependencies. We also use it to benchmark system performance after specific software changes or optimizations, allowing us to measure the impact of our modifications on the systems. CCleaner has dramatically improved my productivity as it boosts my PC's performance. It has streamlined remote work as I use my PC for both work and personal use, thus increasing the number of unwanted files twofold.

**What do you like best about CCleaner?**

CCleaner gives the promise of freeing disk space and making your computer run faster.  That's all good, but does it actually work?  Ig you choose to use it, be sure you understand what it is doing.  By cleaning up cookies, and browser settings, you might delete passwords and login authentication you don't know how to get back.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

It still seems to be "too" powerful.  I would expect a product like this to only allow me to do things that are safe, but it can make massive changes to the system registry and delete files you might actually need.

**Recommendations to others considering CCleaner:**

Try it, but be sure you know what you're doing.  Be sure to have a good backup of your entire system before making drastic changes like purging 100's of Registry values or clearing caches and deleting temp files.

**What problems is CCleaner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My computer was slow and cluttered.  I was looking for a way to get rid cache and temp files that may be slowing down y computer.  I have since found it is much safer to do these things manually.  If you don't know how, ask someone with technical knowledge how or Google it.  It's better to do cleanup tasks one at a time and understand what you're doing.

Simplicity, ease of use, ability to customize what you're 'cleaning,' and I love the additional tools such as the software updater, uninstall options, and startup options.

It is constantly updating, which is good, but it gets a little tedious with how often I have to download the update. I also wish they would stop bundling their browser as an optional download during installation.

**What do you like best about CCleaner?**

CCleaner is an all-in-one computer cleaning software with various tools to remove unwanted files and errors from the disk. CCleaner is a multipurpose platform with multiple features like Health Check, Performance Optimizer, Driver Updater, and Registry Cleaner. You can use the Health Check scan to see how well your computer is performing and what's causing it to slow. The Performance Optimizer shows you which applications are causing more load on your CPU, including start-up applications that launch and run in the background as soon as you turn your computer on. The Driver Updater is an essential tool that looks for new updates for all the drivers you use so that your system runs fast and is as secure as possible. The Registry Cleaner does an excellent job cleaning the registry by deleting old and unwanted values, broken paths and directories, broken thumbnails, etc. CCleaner is a collection of several features that collaboratively aim to help you maintain your computer's speed and overall performance.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

I've not had any issues with CCleaner after using it for over a decade. I'd previously used it on my laptops as they would become slow over time. But with CCleaner, I've been able to keep both my desktop computer and my laptop as good as new by deleting unwanted files.

**What problems is CCleaner solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My colleagues and I have been working from home full-time since the beginning of 2020. Since we don't have access to office computers, we use our personal computers or laptops to work. In general, laptops are not built for long hours of continuous usage. CCleaner is an ideal software in these situations that aid in cleaning the system of any junk or unwanted files, thereby increasing its speed as no memory is allocated for these files. You also get a lot of storage space back from clearing them. CCleaner helps keep your PC as elegant as it was when you first bought it. It also scans for browser plugins, so you can manage them all in a single platform if you're a multi-browser user. CCleaner can also be used to find duplicates of files in your storage. CCleaner can also restore your system to a previous state if you've backed it up. I run CCleaner on my laptop every week when I don't work so that it can scan thoroughly throughout the hard disk to look for errors, fragmentations, corrupted files, etc.

1. Swift cleaning of cookies 2. Able to include or exclude multiple levels of scanning depth ...for example you could exclude scan (removal) of email client passwords since that one is used daily. 3. Strong registry cleaning 4. Paid version has a wonderful driver update version and thus is well recommended if your system is more than 2 years old (especially laptops)

It provides all necessary tools in one software that helps users to remove registries, software, history, cache files, passwords, and much more. It can also remove items from the clipboard and recycle bin. Its user interface is very simple. All the above operations can be performed in just one click. With the help of this, you can optimize your system and make your computer work fast.

I have been using Ccleaner for a very long time, and to date, I haven't faced any issues. It may also use a heavy Ram that can slow down your system. It sometimes delete those files which we do not want to delete.

The nicest thing about this software is that it allows me to remove all of my undesirable files, particularly trash and cached data, in one easy and convenient step with just one click.

The software actually needs a lot of improvements on the UI/UX part although it is easy to use but lacks the appealing UI which it can have according to its demand and popularity.

CCleaner is available for free with an excellent set of features to help you keep your computer running as good as new. Combined with a robust anti-virus software, CCleaner is the icing on the cake to ensure that your computer doesn't slow down. You can use it to delete unwanted files automatically or at your will. CCleaner has the tools to delete cache files, clear your browser's cookies and caches to speed it up, and disable any software causing your CPU to have high load times. You can use it to remove junk files and app data from Windows software and any software that you've installed manually. It has other tools for optimization and defragmentation of the disk drives for better load time and seamlessness of use. CCleaner comes with a Pro version that has additional features to help maintain the top-notch running of your computer, such as cleaning the system files and analyzing the registry for any issues or leftover files from uninstalling any software. CCleaner also shows you a list of all the software you have installed and the last time you used them. This list can give you an idea of which software you no longer use and uninstall them accordingly to save space and improve your computer's speed. CCleaner is one of the most valuable and vital software I have on my computer to keep it running despite years of heavy usage. Even now, it runs as fast and reliably as it did when I first bought it. Thanks to CCleaner, I can monitor and control all unwanted files and app caches that build up over time. I use my computer for work primarily, and since I have a lot of essential files and documents saved in it, I must keep it running smoothly so that it doesn't lead to any issues. CCleaner helps me maintain the cleanliness of my computer by offering suggestions on which areas I should clean, such as unused registry values, non-existent directories, cache files, files leftover after an app has been uninstalled, etc. Even on the hardware side of things, it helps me defragment and clean my drives for a healthy HDD and SSD, where all my files are saved. CCleaner is an essential tool for maintaining the good health of your PC. It's easy to use and has an intuitive UI with all the tools easily accessible. It comes with in-built tools for cleaning your PC, cleaning the system registry, and several tools to optimize and improve your PC's performance. You can clean Windows files and Applications data. The Windows files include data from Microsoft Edge, thumbnail cache, Recycle Bin, temporary files, log files, and file fragments. All of these files are junk that accumulates from using your PC daily that serves no purpose. You can delete these files safely through CCleaner to free up RAM, disk space and increase load time while using the PC. You can also clear applications data, such as the internet cache, download history, and session information for any other browser you use. CCleaner does an excellent job of tracking any other application you regularly use to find any junk files they create for quicker deletion.

CCleaner has system optimization tools to uninstall any application, disable startups, and analyze and defragment disks for improved hard disk performance. If any application on your desktop isn't functioning correctly, you can use CCleaner to repair it. CCleaner also allows you to manage, enable, disable, and delete all your web browser extension for any browser you have installed on your PC. It also differentiates plugins from extensions and shows their current version so you can easily make updates if needed. The disk scanner is excellent and scans your PC to find which types of files are using the most disk space. CCleaner automatically categorizes pictures, music, documents, video, etc., to give you a more comprehensive view of all the files so you can delete any unwanted files manually.

CCleaner is the solution for keeping my PC free of any redundant files or software that can impact its performance negatively. I use my PC daily for work, and I rely on weekly CCleaner clean-ups to ensure that my system can continue to run smoothly. CCleaner allows me to clean my Windows registry, get rid of all junk files and cache, and remove any error-filled files at any time. It can also automatically detect browser junk data and asks me for permission to close the browser first before cleaning. One of the benefits of this software is that it allows me free reign to choose what I want to clean and what I want to delete. I can choose to keep any of the files if I need them. With CCleaner, I can also see which newly installed software has an automatic start-up enabled so that I can disable them. Doing so will reduce the time it will take for my PC to boot up.

Additionally, from time to time, I see 100% disk usage in the task manager when opening a software, which is often caused by disk errors. With CCleaner, I can selectively scan the particular drive in which that software is installed and look for errors. CCleaner allows me to defragment the drive to get rid of any hard disk issues pretty quickly. There exists an option to exclude files, folders, and registry entries while scanning and cleaning, which is a handy feature to ensure that CCleaner doesn't accidentally delete anything you need. For advanced users, you can change the settings to control how CCleaner functions. You can set it to automatically delete files in the Recycle Bin that are older than 24 hours. You can also have it close the application or shut the PC down after cleaning.

When you talk about cleaning your windows computer this is number one. It does exactly what it says clean.

CPU Usage. It uses up a lot of my CPU that's the only downside.

If you want a cleaner that cleans out the drunk as well as keeps your register clean then Ccleaner cleaner is your best choice.

What I like most is the efficient cleaning and maintenance of the children's computer space.  Also, it is useful to fix registry errors and block phishing programs.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

It is not very convenient that CCleaner loads the RAM of weak computers.  This is especially noticeable when the computer is loaded with file junk and cannot cope with the task.

After trying multiple software on the internet, this is the best  I have used so far,  It saves so much time from manual cleaning the junk files to do all things in just one click. It is the first thing that I use when the computer works slow. It's Simple, User-friendly, Lightweight, and powerful.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

There are not any specific reasons that I dislike but some features are not that much useful. Like in registry cleaner, I am not able to select it category wise, yes I can select each but then it becomes a time-consuming process. I have also faced issues while creating a system recovery in which it can't add new applications that I have installed.

If you want your pc to work smoother, go for it, it will save you a lot of time from the manual process.

Time and Space is the main thing that I have saved using CCleaner. Clearing Temporary files, deleting browser history, cache files, fixing the registry, and much more similar things are now more common things today.  It also helps me to save resources for the computer as it contains many tools like disk analyzer, the duplicate folder which is useful and I don't have to install/rely on other software.

CCleaner is an excellent software that you can use to get rid of all unwanted files from your computer. The interface is straightforward, and its tools are easy to use. From the home screen, you can select all the applications you want to analyze, such as your browser's internet cache, download history, last download location, etc. These are redundant files that pile up from long-term use that you can safely delete using CCleaner without losing any essential data. You can also clear cache from other non-browser software. CCleaner's usefulness and ability to delete unwanted files go beyond removing cache files. You can scan your registry for missing shared DLLs, unused file extensions, obsolete software, installers, application paths, etc., and fix all the highlighted issues. More available tools allow you to uninstall any software from your computer. You can see their version, size, install date, publisher, and other helpful information that you can use to decide which software you no longer want. You can also disable the startup applications, which can severely impact the speed of Windows boot time. Other lesser-used tools that CCleaner offers are System Restore, which you can use to restore an older backup if your computer malfunctions, and Drive Wiper, which you can use to erase all the contents in a drive completely.

**What do you dislike about CCleaner?**

CCleaner is free with some basic features. To have all of them enabled, you'll need to purchase CCleaner Pro. However, Windows 10, by default, has all the tools that CCleaner has to offer. So, there's no reason why CCleaner shouldn't be free of cost completely.

**Recommendations to others considering CCleaner:**

I recommend CCleaner as it is free to download. However, even though I use CCleaner Pro, I don't think it's worth upgrading as you can use all of its features for free through Windows settings.

I use CCleaner every week to scan my computer for any junk files that slow it down and delete them. CCleaner is already an old tool for Windows operating systems. It promises to help the system to be faster, through a friendly interface for you to clean records, programs and other information no longer used in the operating system. The interface is intuitive and friendly. The tool is relatively fast and has a good range of features (deleting invalid registries, freeing up space in RAM and uninstalling programs correctly). I have already successfully used the tool to remove a program that insisted on not being uninstalled by the Windows Control Panel.

However, the tool promises more than it delivers. The deletion of registers and the release of RAM, in practice, do not improve the performance of the system by almost anything. Especially when we are talking about using the program in Windows 10: removing registries can be disastrous and slow the operating system. (This has already been proven in some technical articles). Microsoft itself does not recommend using the tool on windows 10.

Don't expect CCleaner to dramatically improve the performance of your operating system. On the contrary: in Windows 10, the tool is not recommended by Microsoft and can cause more damage than improvement. I recommend using the tool with reservations.

I can say, with complete frankness, that CCleaner is one of the main applications available on the market, it is very effective when it comes to removing superfluous files that have accumulated over time on our PC, it also removes those settings that we no longer use, it effectively deletes cookies from the browsing we constantly do. All this implies a considerable improvement in your computer, as you notice with great precision how your device speeds up much more quickly and instantly when you run its functions. What I like best about CCleaner is that it is the most complete software you'll need to clean your computer. It can scan your files, folders, drives, and any software you've installed for junk files and cache that pile up and take up space unnecessarily. These files also tend to slow down your computer over time and they're not easy to find manually. That's where CCleaner comes in handy as it spots these files in a matter of seconds and gives you the choice to delete them. In addition to clearing junk files, you can also clean your system registry to get rid of broken file paths and icons that are no longer in use. In the event your computer is taking too long to start or is slow in general, you can also use CCleaner to defragment your hard drives to fix any errors in them.

I've been using CCleaner for nearly ten years and I've never found any issues with it so far.

Currently ccleaner is a hard drive and memory cleaning program, I like it because it helps me to clean my entire computer in this way, it eliminates cookies, garbage files that I cannot view as it helps to correct errors in my operating system. CCleaner can remove registry errors, junk files and cleanup startup items all in one easy to use program. I even use it on my phone! The program is so easy to use that after I install it on customers computers to use, they are able to use the program on their own at home. Another pro is that if you have program files and folders that will not delete then you can add them through CCleaner as an exception and CCleaner will get the job done and remove them. That comes in handy when spam programs/viruses have been installed and the program files will not remove, CCleaner takes care of it!

I havent found any downsides to Ccleaner because it does so much in one single free program. I have not tried the paid version just yet though I soon will be purchasing it.

Ccleaner is a fairly easy program to use. You open the application, press the clean equipment button and voila. It also has a good technical support service. What we like the most is that thanks to this program we can do a cleaning of the registries of our computer, that is, we do not store files that we are not going to use, since this program removes unnecessary and unused registry entries.
