Right Choice: lightweight, good for businesses that want geo-grid rank tracking and GBP visibility without going enterprise.

Birdeye felt easier to live with day to day
especially once reviews and listings started piling up across locations

For 5-10 locations, I’d probably start lean unless review volume and listing management are already becoming painful. SE Ranking or a lighter tool can cover a lot before you really need something like SOCi.

The most important feature for us is how easy it is to track competitors per location. Local competition varies a lot, so this becomes important.

Birdeye for sure. It feels the strongest when reviews are a major part of the local growth strategy. If reputation management is driving store discovery and conversions, it can be more valuable than a pure rank-tracking tool.

Also, for those of you managing multiple locations, what’s been the biggest feature that makes or breaks a tool? Is it reporting (for clients/franchisees), review management at scale, or just keeping listings accurate across platforms? Curious what you’ve found matters most once you get beyond a handful of locations.
