I especially appreciate the ability to sync data directly to Salesforce, which saves my team time and ensures we’re working with up-to-date info. The platform is rich with detail—990s, key contacts, financials, and more. It’s a go-to resource in our workflow. Their customer support is top-notch, as well. Any time I have a question, I can expect an almost immediate and thoughtful response. This team is inredible. **What do you dislike about Cause IQ?** While the data itself is excellent, the Salesforce integration could be more robust. I’d love to see a more seamless, automated sync that reduces the need for manual exports or list uploads. Being able to define custom sync rules and have nonprofit records automatically update or push into Salesforce would take the tool to the next level. As it stands, the process can feel a bit clunky for teams that rely heavily on CRM integration. **What problems is Cause IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Cause IQ to quickly identify and qualify nonprofit organizations that align with our ideal customer profile. Love the canned Excel export reports w funder giving history. I spend less time searching and more time finding the nuggets I need. The options for searching are many and complete. I have used all the other major foundation search tools, and I like Cause IQ the best. Frankly, I advised a client to leave another service for CIQ, because the value is greater with CIQ. I also find their customer-facing team to be very accessible, friendly and responsive. **What do you dislike about Cause IQ?** Could add more features into the lower tier package. **What problems is Cause IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prospecting new funding opportunities for clients. There are a lot of filters to use when searching, and unique queries are possible. Customer support was very attentive and quickly helped me when I got stuck. I use the tool almost daily, it's a great resource. **What do you dislike about Cause IQ?** It would be helpful to have a feature where you can build your own filters. The csv list upload feature is neat, but I had trouble matching organizations on my list even after a running a likely match search several times. It was a little frustrating, maybe they can employ AI to assist? **What problems is Cause IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** CauseIQ helps enormously when qualifying potential clients, as you can see the revenues instantly and then dive deeper with the 990 forms. The search feature usually knows what I'm looking for so I don't need to spend a lot of time searching for the right organization I'm looking to research. ### 4. We target mid to large companies for our services, and they must be a 501(c) 3 in order to use our services. Cause has a tremendous database and allows you to find their information quickly. It provides direct links to websites, contact for key leadership, and copies of their 990 forms. It's very helpful in launching a new search. **What do you dislike about Cause IQ?** There isn't much that I don't like about Cause IQ. The only complaint I have is that you can not download a list of contact companies from the website to an Excel spreadsheet without paying a much higher subscription. That's very limiting because it requires extra work to import company info into our CRM. **Recommendations to others considering Cause IQ:** If you are searching for ways to connect with nonprofit businesses of any size, this is a great resource! **What problems is Cause IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us pinpoint certain business types in certain markets very quickly. Their search functionality is very detailed, which allows us to quickly zero in on the right companies.
