I reviewed approximately 8 different products and judging on features and value CapLinked was the clear winner. The ease of use is the one of the reasons why we use CapLinked. We work with a lot of outside consultants and customers that need to access folder and files and not once did anyone struggled to access their data. **What do you dislike about CapLinked?** If uploading information, or creating a new folder you make a mistake in writing the name of folder, you have to delete the complete folder and create a new one with the name corrected. You should be able to edit a simple thing as folders name, instead of waisting time if you discover a typo after you have uploaded tons of data (that you will have to upload again). **Recommendations to others considering CapLinked:** The base platform is extremely easy to use and to setup your virtual data room. There are so many extras that we found over competitors, which is why we chose caplinked. The best part, is that you can decide who gets to see what document and workflow is quickly and easily monitored and measured here. You can customize the dashboard in almost any way imaginable. For us, the winning factor, was customer service. The Caplinked customer service team was truly phenomenal. Extremely knowledgeable, super responsive and just really kind and helpful. It was truly a 360° service. **What problems is CapLinked solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ease of use is amazing. In 30 minutes you can get used managing all the virtual data room functions, permissions, etc. Additionally the capacity to give different type of permissions (can read, download, print, etc.) to different individuals or group of individuals is quiet good and again easy to use. **Official Response from Greg Brinson:** > Thank you for submitting your review. Regarding the changing of file and folder names, this can in fact be done quite easily, and has been available for a very long time. For folders, you can double click beside the folder name and make the change, or to the right, you'll see a blue dropdown arrow. Click that and select "Rename". When someone views or downloads a document - the details of that action are document and sent via email to the administrators. **What do you dislike about CapLinked?** They continue to increase our bills and plans without notice or justification. We were on a professional plan which included unlimited workspaces and data. Without notice they changed our plan to the enterprise plan which is double the price a month and said it was due to usage. Why would usage change a plan that's already unlimited? **Recommendations to others considering CapLinked:** They will increase your plan and billing without notice and tell you it's due to your usage, after stating that the Professional Plan in unlimited. Their customer service is extremely poor and they will not give you notice when increasing or changing your account, and will do so without just reason or cause. Our company works with a lot of outside consultants and customers that need to access folder and files, so we basically tested a few data rooms and CapLinked was by far the best value for money. We moved away from emailing any files, we just send the CapLinked link to the relevant person and our data is safe and secure. **What do you dislike about CapLinked?** All in all, its a great tool-however, It does lack some export tool and possibly better data trends. **What problems is CapLinked solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is an amazing program, offers a higher level of engagement for groups. It uploads large documents fast that cause problems in email and I never seem to have ANY issues with. **What do you dislike about CapLinked?** The think I personally don't like is how the program seems to default to previewing the file on the application, instead of download. I personally prefer to just download it and see it in excel, instead of in the preview panel. But this is not a large complaint at all. **What problems is CapLinked solving and how is that benefiting you?** This product enabled me to stop the constant emails between auditors and my team and organize our documents better. We can easily track when people provide and download the documents. It truly saved us time for our team and the audit team as a more efficient filing sharing method. ### 50.
