I like Canvid's simple editing features and the quality of the product. It's great that I don't have to edit much of it at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the file sizes sometimes are quite large, especially for GIFs. Secondly, there are some UX bugs around saving projects and creating a new project. It's not about everything saving; it's more when you want to create a new one or open an old project. It always makes you start a new project before you can open an old one. I really like Canvid because the recording aspect just works. The design with the backdrop and automatic zooming on click is very slick and just works well without any effort from our side. Their support is fantastic, and dealing with them is very quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are some certain features that would be great to have inside the editor like being able to merge multiple videos or things like embedding audio. Some additional features like mouse effects would be good. I understand they're all still in development as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease to create videos, Gifs or tutorials. Super easy to use and made to create, finish and move one to the next project knowing you have a professional video. the AI additions are great and help you a ton. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Maybe a couple of more technical items with video editing. But,this is not a complex tool. This is for people that may be starting content and want to look good but easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Canvid's user-friendly interface and powerful features for creating tutorials. The smart zoom and customization options are fantastic for making professional-looking content. The one-time purchase model is great for budget planning. The AI-enhanced audio and flexible export options in high resolution are real standouts for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While I'm thoroughly satisfied with Canvid, I think it could be even better if they added more advanced editing features in future updates. For instance, the ability to import and integrate other videos into my recordings would be a great addition. This would allow for even more creative possibilities and could enhance the overall versatility of the software. However, this is more of a suggestion for improvement rather than a dislike, as Canvid already excels in its current form for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The automation features such as zooming in on key areas, captions and audio clarity significantly reduce the time I spend on post-production. Creating high-quality feature demos quickly and efficiently is crucial for my role as a content marketer. I like how Canvid frees me up to focus on strategy and creative development instead of editing tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Canvid offers a wide range of features, I’d love to see more customization options for branding. It would be great to have more control over the finer details to ensure every video perfectly aligns with our brand identity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a co-founder I need to create professional-looking videos to showcase my product to prospects and investors. What I love most about Canvid is how effortlessly it polishes my demos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If I had to pick something, it would be that the mobile content recording feature isn’t available yet. We have a mobile app, and it would be great to include that in my demos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
