As we know, this app's basic function is to scan a hard form of the document to an electronic document (E- Docs).

Inside this mobile application, varieties of superb features are present out of a lot; the following are my top favorites.

1- It facilitates us with single and batch file ID card scanning options, which means that all the quality scanned pages through this app are merged into a single file.

2- During the scan, it provides a free transformation that helps us select the specific portion of the text that can be selected for selective scanning. Additionally, it also scans automatically and auto-detects the full page for scanning.

3- After scanning a document, we can easily select the visualization of a page such as a color document, black and white; moreover, more options to remove any ambiguity if present.

4- We can choose a file format such as pdf, image, ppt, excel, and other formats; besides, we can share the file via Whatsapp, email, and other social media.

5- CamScanner, fortunately, now has the OCR facility, which detects the text that can be copied to word processors. More advanced features are added to this app now, such as document sign, smart eraser, QR code, watermark, and translation.

6- Easily set up an account; your mobile number is your unique username, which helps you remember in the future. Free Account provides us with 400mb cloud storage, enough online storage space for daily routine work; more data can be obtained with premium features. Our data is safe and secure cloud and accessible everywhere the internet is available.

7- Moreover, it has a beautiful layout and setting options for profile customization, security, and privacy.

Although the free version of this App offers a lot of help and storage to manage your credentials and documents, it leaves a mark at the end of the document "Scanned by CamScanner." This is alright on normal documents but looks weird on official documents—especially the notarized, apostilled, and attested papers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CamScanner is a bundle of joy, offering excellent scanning and organizing capabilities. You can scan any document, photograph, card, PDF, etc., and then edit it systematically to highlight the contents and crop unnecessary parts automatically. It is relatively easy to use, and its features are pretty intuitive. You can save all your scans on the device and in the cloud to access them from anywhere. You also get enough parts to edit your scans to remove dullness and brighten the scan for better clarity. If you want to print your scan, it has the handy feature of converting the black tone into a classic white look so that you save on ink while printing docs that were initially dark.

You can also share your scans in different formats over different platforms. Files can be saved as images or as PDF or word files. You can also use OCR features to make your PDF scans editable in word. The free version has a mandatory stamp of “scanned with CamScanner” below the scan. If you want to remove the seal, upgrade to the paid version. There are so many valuable features in the paid version. For instance, OCR, PDF merge/split, convert PDF to the word or vice versa.

You can organize your scan with labels or folders. OCR feature store text automatically in the search database. So you can even search according to the content of your scans. It is advantageous if you are looking for a needle in the haystack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the features automatically crops all the pages of your scan to speed up the process, but sometimes some pages get cut wrongly, and you may miss some content. To avoid that, you may have to check every page if anything is not cropped. Secondly, having a brand seal below every scan isn't very reassuring.
