Speed + Simplicity

Caffe was built for performance, and when combined with Python, you get:

Fast execution (especially for CNNs)

Fast Deep Learning Inference

Caffe is highly optimized for speed, especially for convolutional neural networks (CNNs) used in image classification and object detection.

Models are defined in .prototxt files, separate from training/testing scripts.

Problem: "I want my architecture and code to be modular and reusable."

Caffe encourages clean design through this separation.

Problem: "I need to quickly use or adapt a pretrained CNN (e.g., AlexNet, VGG)."
