It facilitates a secure connection with the replication server, thereby providing bi-directional latency in z/OS Tools. It enables client applications as well as middleware to access data stores in various infra-domains such as CICS, MVS, and TSO. **What do you dislike about CA ACF2?** CA ACF2 is fantastic to enhance z/OS Mainframe security and audit management. Nothing in peculiar to dislike of their service. **What problems is CA ACF2 solving and how is that benefiting you?** In our organization's z/OS platform, CA ACF2 offers superb features to implement new functionality changes in mainframe data sources through increased cadence for continuous delivery. It is efficient in managing known defects to reduce the risk of experiencing unplanned outages and delivers solid regression quality in order to prevent the batch operations from being affected. Also it maintains excellent security features for z/OS through MFA in which we can sign on with RSA Credentials or PIV/CAC Smart Card or with a Pass Ticket in which we make use of Mainframe Access with RSA Credentials. ### 2. It offers vulnerability management solutions to troubleshoot problems during authentication, authorization, data integrity, confidentiality, system integrity, and audit catalog. **What do you dislike about CA ACF2?** CA ACF2 is great for improving my security standards in my organization's Mainframe DB2. It offers secure access through interactive sessions, stored procedures, utilities, IMS/CICS transactions. In my opinion, it's fantastic and has no dislikable aspect. **What problems is CA ACF2 solving and how is that benefiting you?** CA ACF2 provides the option to require encrypted passwords available only between two DB2 subsystems. This ensures that the utilization of SNA connections is secured and dedicated. Authentication of user-specific outbound ID indicates outbound connection requests and RACF PassTicket to access the DB2 subsystem. Also, it maintains privilege for DB2 control access to its objects and data through authorization identifiers. ### 3. Some gr8 automation features for simplification of tasks. **What do you dislike about CA ACF2?** I'm not certain it's kept up with the times, especially in the current climate. It has been a little while since I've last used it, but the use of 'pseudo' logins has always been a concern for me. Another concern is the special privileges to a select few, to execute specific tasks without any centralized control....In the current climate, this needs to be managed a lot better. Integration with tools (like external browsers) for better control and management needs to be improved. **What problems is CA ACF2 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Centralized control and management.
