Recommendations to others considering Bynder Webdam:
This helped us effectively think about the different organizations and ultimately choose the solution that best fit our needs. The programming is definitely on the right track. The idea in theory is great. My biggest and really only complaint is that my team and I have had a difficult time maintaining consistent communication (I won't get quick - around the same day - responses to messages with various inquiries, for example) with our WebDAM contacts. On a related note, since we are still learning the WebDAM "language," our WebDAM contacts have been hard to understand without requesting numerous explanations. I'm afraid there is a barrier in which our WebDAM contacts have trouble explaining programming terms of their expertise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Bynder Webdam solving and how is that benefiting you?
We gather images to use them in print and web media. WebDAM offers a resource that allows us to easily store and browse image files. What I really appreciate about WebDAM is that we can tailor the product to our needs. For example, we are increasing our use of video. Therefore, we included the multimedia module. This addition allows all of our video footage to be stored in the cloud and easily viewed by all staff. Additionally, images that were being used were often from years prior. Staff come and go, and not all staff are aware of the age of the photo. This solution allows us to add a "shelf life" to the photos. They can become inactive after a defined period. This is especially ideal when we have a one-time event and don't want the previous year's event used. We can sunset them after one year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
