As a PM at a security focused company, I was most interested in security, scalability and actionability. BWT delivered on all three. Security was key in building their data pipeline, which their team had the expertise to accomplish. They developed a bespoke application for us that integrates in all our anonymised threat data, member metrics and research feedback into one governed solution. The strength of their work is in the ETL processes we built together that take raw data and convert that into structured insights for our research teams without revealing any member’s information. Creating a customized tool for a niche industry such as ours involved an extremely in-depth and long discovery process. Their communication was fantastic, but the original project timeline was too short. Some of the more challenging features (real-time streaming etc.) took a while to secure properly. The platform is stable in production, but any small design change or report logic requires their development team to get involved– the admin tools are designed for data engineer and not a product person.
