**What do you like best about Brokee?**

Hiring is a difficult process for both the employer and the candidate. From the candidate's point of view, tech screens can be arbitrary, long and sometimes unfair. From the employers point of view, candidates with excellent looking CVs sometimes turn out to be poor at technical tasks, but we only find out after a significant investment in time and effort. Brokee goes a long way to solving this problem for technical hiring.

It does this by:
1. Creating an even playing field for candidates who are prompted to solve similar tasks that are practical and realistic.
2. Allows employers to screen for real-world skills, and to compare candidates with real metrics such as time to completion.
3. The challenges can be sent to many candidates at once, and tailored to the skills needed to do the job. This saves hiring managers and HR an enormous amount of time and effort in having meetings with candidates that turn out to not be suitable.

The platform is very easy to use and onboarding is mere minutes. It can even be used by managers who don't necessarily have the tech skills themselves.

The fact that the challenges are not academic, but based on real-world live cloud environments make it distinct from other platforms that just test written knowledge or code.

**What do you dislike about Brokee?**

Initially I though the price per candidate/test seemed a little expensive, but when I considered the cost of using a recruiter, or the time wasted conducting interviews with poor candidates, I realized that it was very good value for money in the end. Also the fact that there is a pay-as-you-go model available made it a very low risk investment.

It is a very compelling tool for hiring, but is probably too expensive to use for regular internal training at scale. Ideally I'd have all my engineers do all the exercises on a regular basis.

Brokee has been an exceptional experience for our company. Their challenge assessments have been a game-changer in validating our students' knowledge, especially in troubleshooting scenarios. The crafted challenges have not only tested but also enhanced our students' problem-solving skills in a practical, real-world setting.

I don't have any significant dislikes. If by chance there is something you didn't like, Brokee is very approachable and will work to improve based on your suggestions.

Allowing students to troubleshoot various scenarios to give hands on skills.

Actual hands-on exercises in a natural environment allow the candidate to perform tasks similar to their day-to-day ones and the full visibility and analysis on their performance.

**What do you dislike about Brokee?**

Frankly speaking, none, I've been seen the platform scaling and growing, and that's great.

**What problems is Brokee solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to screen DevOps candidates, reducing the risk of hiring and load on hiring managers during the technical interviews.
